This hotel really redefines what high quality service at luxury hotels should be - personable, friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff are eager to be helpful, are extremely communicative and responsive via WeChat, and cater to your every needs. My impression before I arrived was already a positive one because they helped me arrange two packages to be sent in advance to the hotel. They even let me use their contact details as the contact number to make the order as I did not have a local phone number. Upon arrival, the packages were waiting for us and housekeeping took away the leftover packaging. They also offer a free laundry service and I cannot emphasise how soft and nice smelling our clothes were when we received our freshly laundered clothes. The bathroom amenities are the luxury brand Le Labo and the water provided is the mineral water brand Evian. Of course they also have Dyson hair dryers. The daily breakfasts are truly decadent with abalone on our first morning and Angus sirloin on our second morning. We can order seconds of any of the dishes we liked. Fruit juices are freshly made. The barista even made takeaway drinks for us to enjoy on our outings. Afternoon tea and evening soups are also provided and guests can choose what time they would like it to be served and where (for example, hotel room or hotel lounge). They even prepared cold milk for us to soothe us after we returned from dinner eating some local spicy Changsha chicken. Truly outstanding service! One of the things that sets this hotel apart from any other we have stayed at are the afternoon activities they offer to their guests. On our second day we enjoyed a Cloisonné enamel class in the hotel and we will certainly be displaying the fruits of our hard work in our home when we return home. All the materials were provided to us and one of the lovely staff provided instructions and was extremely patient with us despite the language barrier. Such unique experiences on offer each day really make the stay so enjoyable for guests. I can understand why this hotel was won so many accolades. The staff really have earnt this award. It is thanks to their dedication that this hotel has earnt such a prestigious reputation. It is genuinely worth every penny! I am not sure when we will return to Changsha but it is exciting to know that the hotel does have another branch in Chengdu which we will be keen to visit, perhaps next year. All I can say is that I will always have fond memories of this hotel and particularly its staff and this hotel has certainly set the bar high for outstanding service.

Kurz gesagt: ein wunderschönes Hotel mit warmherzigen Menschen – ein Muss bei einem Aufenthalt in Changsha!

Die Gesamterfahrung ist direkt voll und übersteigt die Erwartungen ～ Das Hotel ist ein Gartenhaus mit einem eigenen Haus, ein china-stiliertes elegantes Garten mit leichten Dekorationen, grünen Umfeld, ruhigen und tiefen Räumen und einer sehr starken Privatsphäre. Die Atmosphäre der grünen Pflanze und Blumen im Garten ist direkt voll, Fotos werden riesig gemacht, entfernt von den Stadtbäumen, besonders geeignet für Urlaub, Elternausflüge oder eine kleine Versammlung. Die Zimmer sind hochwertig, die Atmosphäre ist wunderschön, die Betten sind weich und die Haut weich, die Waschbecken sind alle hochwertig konfiguriert, die Toilette ist unerwünscht, jeder Ecke ist sauber und sauber und schmeckt nicht. I really enjoyed staying at this boutique hotel, which feels very reserved and luxurious. I liked that it is away from the city and close to the lake, which I enjoyed the morning walk very much. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable, hotel staffs are generally friendly and very helpful. I had the time to enjoy live music at the bar, and met a very talented young artist, Azura who sang really well with memorable classics. I used the gym as well, which is pretty well equipped but I thought it was not tidied up as promptly as guests left empty bottles and weights lying around when I entered. It was almost after an hour later before I saw someone coming in to disinfect some of the equipments. I feel the disinfectant should be made available to guests on obvious spots so we are able to clean them ourselves before/ after use. Meanwhile the receptionists could probably do some basic housekeeping after guests left instead of waiting for the cleaners. There aren't that many users, it's not really ”hard work” in upkeeping the tidiness of the room. The breakfast spread was good and I loved the fact the the buffet is opened till 1:30pm!! Yes, finally a hotel that respects or generous enough to provide last breakfast for those who rise later on weekends. Food and coffee were really good, and this is a strong plus point for me to consider revisiting when i'm in town next!

Das hervorragende Hotel für die feindliche Reise. Sie können das gesamte Weizenland begraben. Der Hotelservice ist sehr sorgfältig. Die Details sind wirklich sehr gut. Weil ich ein Kind mitgebracht habe. Sonst trinke ich einen Abend Tee und spiele absoluut. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut. Das Brotkopf ist sicherlich richtig. Es gibt einen Spielplatz für ein Baby auf der 38. Etage. Obwohl nicht groß. Aber auch sehr sauber. Wenn ich das nächste Mal wiederkomme, werde ich sicher weiter wählen 🫶

I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at the Kempinski Hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and offered a breathtaking view of the city. The staff were incredibly attentive, always welcoming and ready to help. Many of them spoke English or used a translator, which made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of. The breakfast was truly impressive — abundant, diverse, and absolutely delicious. The hotel is conveniently located near several metro stations, making it easy to reach the city center. My stay at the Kempinski Hotel will remain one of the highlights of my time in Changsha.

It was a great stay! The staff I met were consistent and ready to offer help when needed. Metro was nearby and a good option to avoid the traffic during peak hours. Will appreciate if I was told earlier that swimming cap is required for use of the swimming pool as I went the day earlier to check it out. Thankful that they still allowed me to use the jacuzzi.
