This hotel really redefines what high quality service at luxury hotels should be - personable, friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff are eager to be helpful, are extremely communicative and responsive via WeChat, and cater to your every needs. My impression before I arrived was already a positive one because they helped me arrange two packages to be sent in advance to the hotel. They even let me use their contact details as the contact number to make the order as I did not have a local phone number. Upon arrival, the packages were waiting for us and housekeeping took away the leftover packaging. They also offer a free laundry service and I cannot emphasise how soft and nice smelling our clothes were when we received our freshly laundered clothes. The bathroom amenities are the luxury brand Le Labo and the water provided is the mineral water brand Evian. Of course they also have Dyson hair dryers. The daily breakfasts are truly decadent with abalone on our first morning and Angus sirloin on our second morning. We can order seconds of any of the dishes we liked. Fruit juices are freshly made. The barista even made takeaway drinks for us to enjoy on our outings. Afternoon tea and evening soups are also provided and guests can choose what time they would like it to be served and where (for example, hotel room or hotel lounge). They even prepared cold milk for us to soothe us after we returned from dinner eating some local spicy Changsha chicken. Truly outstanding service! One of the things that sets this hotel apart from any other we have stayed at are the afternoon activities they offer to their guests. On our second day we enjoyed a Cloisonné enamel class in the hotel and we will certainly be displaying the fruits of our hard work in our home when we return home. All the materials were provided to us and one of the lovely staff provided instructions and was extremely patient with us despite the language barrier. Such unique experiences on offer each day really make the stay so enjoyable for guests. I can understand why this hotel was won so many accolades. The staff really have earnt this award. It is thanks to their dedication that this hotel has earnt such a prestigious reputation. It is genuinely worth every penny! I am not sure when we will return to Changsha but it is exciting to know that the hotel does have another branch in Chengdu which we will be keen to visit, perhaps next year. All I can say is that I will always have fond memories of this hotel and particularly its staff and this hotel has certainly set the bar high for outstanding service.

Beim Check-out half uns ein hübsches junges Mädchen am Empfang, unser Gepäck zum Auto zu bringen; ich dachte zuerst, sie sei eine Hotelgästen. Kurz gesagt: ein wunderschönes Hotel mit warmherzigen Menschen – ein Muss bei einem Aufenthalt in Changsha!

If you’re looking for an English review, here it is! Location: We stayed for 6 nights in the Jade Room, and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel is only a short 3-minute walk from Huangxing Pedestrian Street, tucked inside a small alley off the main road. While taxis can’t drop you right at the entrance, the walk is easy and luggage-friendly. The surroundings are quiet at night but still feel very safe. There’s also a nearby corner shop that holds Taobao parcels, which is super convenient, and the reception staff will guide you if needed. Service: The service was genuinely outstanding and truly made the stay feel like a home away from home. Communication was clear, warm, and responsive from the beginning. We confirmed our booking via WeChat and received prompt replies along with helpful directions and a clear map. We arrived past midnight, but the staff kept in touch and reassured us that someone would meet us on arrival. A friendly young gentleman greeted us with a big smile, brought us to our room, and followed up with the passcodes for Wi-Fi and door access (the lobby area locks after 10pm). Most evenings, they sent a message about homemade desserts available on a first-come-first-serve basis—such a thoughtful touch. They were also extremely helpful when I needed to order food through *******, letting me use the front desk number since I didn’t have a local phone. I was also able to receive Taobao parcels at the hotel, and the staff neatly gathered them for easy pick-up. Truly attentive and heartfelt service throughout. Cleanliness & Room: The room had basic amenities and toiletries, which were sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, we couldn’t find a safe or mini fridge— not a deal breaker, but something to note if you’re expecting those features. The cleaning team was polite and checked in daily to see if we needed housekeeping. Fresh towels and bottled water were consistently provided, which we appreciated. Still, the overall cleaning could have been more thorough. We noticed crumbs and hair on the floor, suggesting that sweeping or vacuuming wasn’t done completely, and there were some shoe marks left in the bathroom. Not major issues, but worth mentioning. We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend this hotel enough. Its location is excellent, the interior is beautifully designed, and the staff truly embody a service-oriented mindset. What impressed us most was the honesty and care shown by the team. My friend accidentally dropped her ring and wasn’t even sure where it happened. After we contacted the hotel, they later reached out to let us know they had found the ring during cleaning. Thanks to their integrity and kindness, they truly made our day. This experience left us with only fond memories of Changsha, and we are incredibly grateful to the hotel and its staff.

Die Freiräume sind ebenso wunderschön: Sonnengehäuse mit weicher Böden, wo mein Spaniel durch (eine süße, unerwartete Berührung!) und Grabpfade, die zu schwebenden Blicken auf die Holzberge führen. Jede Ecke fühlt sich vorsätzlich und ausgewogen mit der Rohschönheit der umliegenden Natur minimalistisches Design. Was wirklich diesen Ort besonders macht ist die Ruhe. Es ist ruhig genug, um die Ruhe der Blätter und Vogelsong zu hören, aber die Einrichtungen sind komfortabel und gut ausgestattetno ruining es hier. Das Personal (wenn auch ich nicht viel interagierte, dank der Absperrung) schien aufmerksam zu sein, und die kleinen Touchs (wie das Feuerholz, das durch den Stuhl geschmeckt) machten den Aufenthalt persönlich und sorgfältig. Wenn ich mich nötig fühle, ist es, dass die entfernte Lage bedeutet, dass Sie ein Auto brauchen, um in der Nähe Spots zu erkunden, aber das ist Teil der Anregung für eine wahre Flucht. Taken to our room by host, immediately upon entering, host asked if we were happy with the room or wanted to upgrade. Layout of Apartment appeared suitable for our needs and appeared in order so declined upgrade as we weren’t sure if that would be additional cost. Once host left we put our bags down and started to settle in and as we did so found the unit to be unclean. It was like the unit had not been throughly cleaned for some time. dust and grime on surfaces and floor, broken bedside cupboards and bed head laying against the wall in the kitchen. We set about cleaning the apartments we Harley unpacked and it would of been an inconvenience to us to have to replace our things. We set about cleaning the room. the host messaged us within the hour to ask if we were satisfied with the room or wanted to still upgrade. I let them know that the room was u clean & we were not satisfied but didn’twant to risk another dirty apartment. Given the conversation with the host and repeated question about us wanting to upgrade, I feel that they were aware the room was not up to standard. The layout of apartment is good with 1 bedroom 1 toilet and shower and lounge area downstairs, 2 bedrooms, toilet and washing machine upstairs. 1 shower for all apartment with needing time between showers due to hot water system needing time to reheat can make for a long time for everyone to get ready.
