Local hotel in central Kathmandu Not far from Thalem and Durbar square Good hotel if you are travelling on a budget while enjoying a nice Nepali deco with a patio-stupa in the center of the property. Room was pretty old but reasonable for the price!

I am very satisfied with my stay here. Even if you arrive for a late check-in after 11:30 PM, the hotel staff is still very accommodating and helpful. The room rate is reasonable, and it's only about a 200-meter walk to do kora around the stupa. I will definitely book here again if I come back to Kathmandu. The breakfast is delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. A quick tip: make sure to keep your purchased stupa ticket handy when entering and exiting the stupa area, as security guards occasionally check them.

Kathmandu is a stressful city with a sad underbelly. At the Green Horizon, you're removed from it all and greeted with a cheerful smile every day. I got a lovely room with balcon, big bathroom and booked three days straight away. Also the food in the restaurant is cheap and delicious. Green Horizon is a place to relax. Would come back every time.

Location is alright, there’s occasional cockroaches running past you when you are in the room, cleanliness has a lot to improve on. Worst part is that I booked a single room and was given a room next to the elevator with a window without curtain, anyone tall enough would be able to look into my room and everything in it, to add on to that, the room was next to the elevator and you can hear every footstep and noise/chat coming from the corridor, and when the elevator moves, there’s this super unnecessary music that runs with it so you would get a sense of that throughout the day and night. When I went to the receptionist to ask for a different room, she told me there’s no other rooms available and I have to pay an extra 1500 rupee to upgrade to a different room, that amount, adding with the original I paid for- would already be much higher than a standard deluxe room. Obviously she and the hotel was trying to scam me by leveraging on giving a super lousy room at first. Even though they eventually agreed to change room for me at no charge, I was honestly traumatised by this hotel and was uncomfortable through the stay. Then at check-out in the next morning, the guy was reluctant to let me go asking if I had already paid and making calls to confirm about it. Overall there’s surely better rooms for similar price in Thamel, so do try to skip this hotel unless you like some good memorable reasons to spoil your trip.

10min away on foot from the airport, perfect for a short stay to catch the next flight. Very funktional, personnel very helpful and kind. Breakfast is also good, we had the Indian breakfast.

Ich denke , die beste Qualität dieses Hotels ist der Service , der perfekt war . Sie waren so schön und willkommen. Ich habe einen frühen Flughafen für mich zu einem angemessenen Preis abgesetzt und mein Frühstück für den Flug packt! (Die Mehrwertsteuer ist im Preis des Zimmers enthalten. Das Zimmer verfügt über Shampoo, Zahnbürste und Paste, genügend Wasser, Kaffee und Tee und gibt es eine Kettle. Ich brauchte nur eine Nacht und dafür war es gut, aber! 🙏 Wenn Sie ein sauberes Zimmer wollen, ist das der Schwachpunkt des Ortes Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, es gab Farben und Haare auf dem schlechten (nicht meine) Und es gibt eine Wand-zu-Wand-Tappet, die alt und schmutzig ist Also habe ich ein Gefühl in dieser Bewertung. Insgesamt empfehle ich kurzfristige Aufenthalte :)

About three minutes walk from Tribhuan International Airport although it was walk up and down.The room not quite clean and you can hear people from other room. Overall ok.

I went there for 1 night just to have a peaceful sleep. I have long way to travel so to catch up my sleep, I was there. It is like a party house at night extremely playing noisy songs. Instead of opening hotel, they should have opened night club. Yes, the environment is club environment. The staffs are nice . I complain by shouting out loud back to them. It is effective, they immediately lower their song. The entrance to the hotel is narrow,no car can enter. Moreover, super loud environment to have a good night sleep. So, not recommend.
