Wir verbringen fünf Nächte im Kumari Hotel. Schon bei unserer Ankunft um 23:00 Uhr wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos. Das Zimmer ist recht geräumig. Das Bett ist in Ordnung, obwohl die Bettwäsche mal wieder frisch sein sollte. Auch die Sauberkeit könnte verbessert werden, insbesondere der Staub im Handtuchschrank direkt neben der Toilette sollte gründlich gereinigt werden. Das Frühstück ist lecker und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders Rosie. Wir haben uns ein paar Mal mit ihr unterhalten, und sie war sehr aufmerksam. Ich kann das Kumari Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Location Very central in Thamel, within walking distance to key areas, restaurants, and festival venues. Ideal when the city is busy due to events like NIFF (held April 2–6, 2026 in Kathmandu). Check-in and support were smooth, even during high-traffic festival days. Madhuban Hotel ist absoluut das beste Hotel, um in Kathmandu zu bleiben. Ich werde Ihnen sagen, warum. Das Hotel ist in allen Aspekten in der Nähe. Wert für Geld - Sie erhalten, was Sie zahlen. Das Hotel bietet kostenfreies Frühstück und sehr erschwingliches Essen und Snacks im Hause. Die Abhol- und Abflug vom Flughafen war reibungslos, problemlos und absolut genießbar. Ich wurde vom Sohn des Hotelbesitzers aufgehoben und es war eine absolut angenehme Zeit. Lage - Madhuban Hotel ist strategisch gelegen - weit von der lauten Stadt, aber in der Nähe der Orte der Interessen. Es ist in der Nähe des Party-Bereichs (Thamel-Bereich) mit vielen Restaurants und Souvenir-Shop. Es ist eine Fahrt von den wichtigsten Attraktionen entfernt. Tours und Abenteuer - das Hotel hat seinen eigenen Anbieter - Abenteuerboundnepal. Sie arrangieren und matchen Preise auf dem Markt. Sie konnten sogar eine letzte Minute Buchung für mich mit dem everest Flug abziehen. Gästehaus - Eigentümer, Manager und Mitarbeiter sind alle lächelnd, glücklich und glücklich. Sie fühlen sich zu Hause. Zimmer - geräumig und sehr schön. Heizungen arbeiten, schnelles Internet und plus Punkte, wenn Sie eine Terrasse haben (was ich getan habe). Baudha Apart Hotel The Air is much cleaner at these heights. A lovely view to be seen from the roof top upon the city down below. There is a room up there, for yoga, for exercise, or meditation. An elevator takes you there, but you can climb the stairs, if you wish, especially to prepare for a mountain trek – there is an ample storage room in that regard. Boudha Apart is owned by a Sherpa family, originally from Lukla, so there are many good contacts with the high mountain community. The hotel is fairly new, and that means nothing is broken. That is to say also, that it is well maintained, that the guests are not a rowdy sort, and they are mindful of each other's tranquility. The rooms are well thought out, and many have a sun facing balcony. Both sink and shower have abundant hot water, adjustable as you like. On the ground floor is a large restaurant, with a diverse menu of local cuisine, and western comfort foods. The basement is a parking garage for cars and bikes. The staff is of good cheer, and supportive of your adventures and plans. They, most conveniently, pick up and deliver to the airport. There is also a car and driver for various tours, as you will. And finally to say, the price to value is most fair, as one compares to other hotels in the region.

We had a lovely short stay in Aarya. Starting off with convenience: by being transported by the vehicle arranged by the hotel from the Intl Airport at no extra cost. This was a lovely touch by the hotel as sometimes travellers may want to avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and firms. Then being greeted by the wonderful staff at the reception with khada & a glass of refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and seamless. The hotel itself was remarkably decorated to a classic Nepali ‘Newari’ culture which was very impressive. Located in the heart of Thamel, but slightly away from the drawing music & hustle and bustle of the streets to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we certainly needed after a long flight. Our room was spacious and kitted out with all the amenities and not forgetting, wonderfully decorated again. The facilities provided in the Hotel, from the Gym to the swimming pool was again impressive considering we were in the heart of Thamel. I particularly enjoyed the view of Sundhara Dharahara and SkyWalk tower whilst running on Treadmill and going for a swim and also the view of Swayambhu whilst doing weights in the Gym. The Sora restaurant at the top floor provided us a majestic view of the city whilst dining both during dinner and breakfast. The glass floor at the dining area was also something unique at the hotel which we have not seen in Nepal. Food was of the highest quality, and we were thoroughly satisfied with dinner and particularly the wide range of options available on the breakfast buffet, from nepali classics such as Sel Roti and Puri to modern cuisine such as Masala Omelette and Sausage & Bacon. Truly a stay to remember and we have already recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely come back to stay here again!! Ich hatte eine schreckliche Erfahrung in diesem Hotel - reservierte es als erstes Halt in Kathmandu bei der Ankunft in Nepal, Ort, um meine Gepäck beim Fahren und eine letzte Nacht vor dem Fliegen aus dem Land zu setzen. Es gibt keine Vorschrift für Tasche-Check - kein Tag oder ähnlich. Anfrag, ob ich verlassen / prüfen konnte, wurde mein Tasche ja gesagt und zu verlassen vor dem Front-Desk. Zwei Wochen später, als ich wieder in den Hotel-Tasche war noch im Lobby vor dem Front-Desk. Es fehlte natürlich - keines von dem großen Wert, um zu argumentieren, aber die Tatsache, dass sie nicht einmal gestört werden konnten, um den Sack ein paar Füße zu einem Schrank / Halteraum oder so ist ein Indiz für die Art und Weise, wie dieser Ort rollt. Sie versuchten, einen Shuttle für frühmorgens am Flughafen durch das Hotel zu buchen, aufgeführt als inklusive Service. Trotz Bestätigung und Wiederbescheinigung, sie arrangierten nichts. Stattdessen um 5:15 Uhr wurde es ein Spiel von Let’ machen einen Deal und sehen, wie viel wir belasten können, während wir keine Beweise liefern, gab es sogar einen Fahrer. Am Ende gab ich auf und buchte mein Gepäck auf die Straße, um einen Taxi zu bekommen. Nepal ist ein wunderbares Land - dieses Hotel war eine konsequente schlechte Erfahrung. Zimmer selbst sind meh - hat nicht das kostenlose Frühstück versucht, auf dem Restaurant auf der Website war ziemlich gut, Atmosphäre/Essen. Das ist kein billiges Hotel nach lokalen Standards - für den Preispunkt gibt es viele / viele Optionen in der Umgebung.

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

Nice hotel in the city center with all the conditions I need. There is a good restaurant on the top, and the coffee shop on the ground floor. The service was perfect, the men from reception, his name is Birendra, allowed me to leave my belongings while I was on track, and helped me with all the questions I had.

Классный отель в центре рвйона Тамель. Номера и общие помещения выполнены в нациогальном стиле - очень атмосферно. Классный панорамный ресторан на 7 этаже - вкусно, разнообразное меню на завтраке(система шведский стол), меню ресторана также разнообразное - есть и блюда местной кухни, и европейские. Очень хороший спа в отеле, единственное, что работает не до позднего вечера. Очень приветливый и гостеприимный персонал. Рекомендую
