Das Hotel ist frisch renoviert und die Bettwäsche ist neu und sauber. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr gut, enthusiastisch und aufmerksam. Viele von ihnen wurden in Sanya-Resort-Hotels ausgebildet und sprechen etwas Mandarin. Das Restaurant im ersten Stock hat uns sogar dabei geholfen, kostenlos Instantnudeln zuzubereiten🍜 Empfehlenswert, werde beim nächsten Mal wieder hier übernachten Es gibt ein SPA im Hotel und Gäste erhalten 15 % Rabatt. Die Technik ist sehr gut, aber es stehen nur drei ätherische Öle zur Auswahl: Lavendel, Ylang Ylang und Eukalyptus.

Ich blieb insgesamt fünf Nächte. Ich war von der Reise zu müde, um das Hotel zu wechseln, aber das Hotel war voller Enttäuschungen. Ich kaufte in der Lobby einen Kuchen, der drei- bis fünfmal teurer war als die frischen Kuchen draußen. Ich wusste nicht, wie lange er schon da war, als ich ihn aß. Ich schätze, es war mindestens eine Woche. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Restaurant scheiterte ich. Nach einer erneuten Kontaktaufnahme durch Ctrip entschuldigte man sich und zahlte den Schaden. Das Personal hielt mich wegen eines Fehlers an der Tür zum Frühstück auf. Nach nochmaliger Überprüfung kam nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung. Nach dem Auschecken aß ich im Restaurant und bestellte die Pasta, die ich zuvor bestellt hatte, aber sie roch nach Spülwasser oder Lappen. Das einzig Positive ist der Service des Personals. Kathmandu und das Hotel insgesamt sind nicht zufriedenstellend.

Mir hat der gesamte Hotelkomplex sehr gut gefallen. Direkt daneben befindet sich ein kleines Einkaufszentrum mit Restaurants. Selbst wenn man nicht im Hotel übernachtet, lohnt sich ein Besuch zum Essen und Trinken. Im Obergeschoss gibt es eine schöne Bibliothek, und das Anwesen ist inmitten des Straßentrubels eine wahre Oase der Ruhe. Absolut keine Lärmbelästigung. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend, und ich konnte mich dort mit meinem Reiseleiter treffen, da er häufig in den Restaurants nebenan verkehrt. In diesen Villen herrscht ein authentisches Nepal-Flair – ideal für Alleinreisende, Freunde oder Paare. Viele Expats sind in der Stadt unterwegs. Ich habe eine Stadtrundfahrt mit Bibi Funyal *************** gemacht, der auch für Future Citizens Nepal arbeitet. Obwohl er hauptsächlich Bergtouren anbietet, kannte er alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung des Hotels. Ich hoffe, sie bieten in Zukunft gemeinsam ein Reisepaket an. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit und erklärten mir das Bargeldsystem, Trinkgelder, Fahrer usw. Es hat während meines Aufenthalts geregnet, und diese Villa ist ein Urlaub für sich.

We had a lovely short stay in Aarya. Starting off with convenience: by being transported by the vehicle arranged by the hotel from the Intl Airport at no extra cost. This was a lovely touch by the hotel as sometimes travellers may want to avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and firms. Then being greeted by the wonderful staff at the reception with khada & a glass of refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and seamless. The hotel itself was remarkably decorated to a classic Nepali ‘Newari’ culture which was very impressive. Located in the heart of Thamel, but slightly away from the drawing music & hustle and bustle of the streets to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we certainly needed after a long flight. Our room was spacious and kitted out with all the amenities and not forgetting, wonderfully decorated again. The facilities provided in the Hotel, from the Gym to the swimming pool was again impressive considering we were in the heart of Thamel. I particularly enjoyed the view of Sundhara Dharahara and SkyWalk tower whilst running on Treadmill and going for a swim and also the view of Swayambhu whilst doing weights in the Gym. The Sora restaurant at the top floor provided us a majestic view of the city whilst dining both during dinner and breakfast. The glass floor at the dining area was also something unique at the hotel which we have not seen in Nepal. Food was of the highest quality, and we were thoroughly satisfied with dinner and particularly the wide range of options available on the breakfast buffet, from nepali classics such as Sel Roti and Puri to modern cuisine such as Masala Omelette and Sausage & Bacon. Truly a stay to remember and we have already recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely come back to stay here again!! A comfortable stay with attentive staff during breakfast and a well designed hotel, though more breakfast options would be appreciated.

Das Hotel liegt direkt hinter dem Dreams Garden. Nur einen kurzen Spaziergang zum besetzten Thamel-Bereich. Die Nachbarschaft hat Komfortgeschäfte, Cafés, Essen und Apotheke. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich klein, aber es ist ok für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Das Bett war nicht so komfortabel wie andere Hotels, die ich geblieben habe. Sehr grundlegende Fitnessanlage im Hotel, wünschen Sie, dass sie den Fitnessraum größere und besser ausgestattet machen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut genug für einige Brennstoffe, bevor wir gehen zu erkunden. Omelette könnte sicher verbessert werden, aber ich mag die Pilze und Bacon mit meiner Omelette. Sie haben auch eine Suppestation, die Sie wählen können, was Sie in Ihre Suppe gehen wollen. Die Sojalatte wurde schön gemacht. Einige Tage servieren sie den Schokoladekuchen, die ein Muss zu versuchen. Das Personal ist sehr gut ausgebildet und spricht gut Englisch. Ich würde Ihnen sicher empfehlen, hier für den Preis für Geld, fantastische Lage und gute Gastfreundschaft zu bleiben.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, cozy, and exactly what I needed after a long day of exploring. The location is unbeatable too, just a short walk from the main attractions. Would definitely book again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

Das Hotel ist nur OK. Es ist als fünf-Sterne-Hotel aufgeführt, es fühlte sich mehr als ein drei-Sterne-Hotel. Das Restaurant war sehr teuer und die Qualität der Nahrung war wirklich nicht anders als viel von dem Nahrung, das ich in einem normalen Restaurant in der Stadt zu einem Viertel des Preises bekommen konnte. Das Zimmer war angemessen, aber das Bett war nicht so komfortable und die Blätter und Schleifen und Kissen waren super unkomfortable. Sie fühlten sich nicht wie Qualität, die aus einem fünf-Sterne-Hotel kommen würde. Ich habe in drei Sternhotels geblieben, die höhere Qualitätsblätter und -blöcke und Betten hatten. Der Service ist wirklich gut und alles im Hotel ist ziemlich schön, aber es ist definitiv nicht fünf Sternen wert.

Smack in the heart of Thamel. Great retreat in the mayhem of it all. Awesome room and service. A few loud bars in the area but they close early, a little later on the weekend. Bed and hot water awesome. Has cable T.V. to watch movies or catch up with what's going on in the world. Worth the money you pay to stay at this place
