Das Hotel ist mit Marmor und Gültigkeit über-the-top-Dekoration. Es ist ein Labyrinth von schlecht markierten Hallen, Toten Enden und Beleuchtung auf Zeiten. Wir blieben drei Tage und haben nie ganz herausgefunden, wie der Weg von unserem Zimmer zum Essensraum, der mehrere Aufzüge und Hallen umfasst. Ich werde ein Foto von unserem “goldenen” Toilette enthalten. Die Lage ist bemerkenswert am Eingang des Alten Bazaar. Die benachbarte Moschee wird diejenigen, die nicht an einen Ruf zum Gebet gewöhnt sind, in den sehr frühen Morgenstunden starten. Es ist sicherlich keine “Cookie-Cutter”-Anlage und ich genossen meinen Aufenthalt.

These weren’t met except by the reception staff who were excellent. The hotel is in a great location just off the bazaar. The bed and room was comfortable but the bathroom door was glass, the bath lacked a shower curtain and was really high to step up in to. Downstairs lobby has been modernised but the 7th floor where breakfast is was set up like a wedding/function venue with large tables. There weren’t many guests eating when we were so easy for us to get a table for six to ourselves.Full range of cold/cooked/ cereals/breads/cake/ delicious fruit. Swimming pool in summer is deceptive as it feels almost too hot in the room so put us off a bit. But the water was lovely and cool. Quite small so just for gentle paddling and bobbing about not for doing lengths. The shaded part of the roof top bar was closed for a separate function so there was nowhere to sit in the shade, so never tried it. Worth going up for view of the city though but a shame as it’s one of the things that attracted us to chose this hotel. Taxi from bus station was 110 dinars, just 5-10 minutes away. Try and find ‘tea street’ in the bazaar in the evening, great place for people watching with an iced coffee. It’s parallel to the hotel street about 2 or 3 streets into the bazaar. 3 hours from Skopje by bus to Ochrid town/lake. Well worth a couple of days in each place. Also did Free Walking Tours Skopje which was great and I’ve left a separate review for. Skopje is a fascinating city to visit. Ottoman history and culture north of the river, Balkan culture to the south.

Direkt am Alexander-Platz gelegen findet man dieses modere 5-Sterne-Haus, das durch modernes Design besticht. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, auch wenn die Lichtschalter bisweilen verwirren, ist alles funktional gestaltet. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf eine Junior-Suite mit Balkon zum Innenhof. Das Frühstück im Distrikt-Restaurant überzeugt, der Spa-Bereich ist am Wochenende sehr frequentiert. Die Massage dort war außerordentlich gut. Die Lounge bietet zur Zeit nicht das volle Programm, so dass man pro Person 750-Denar-Voucher für das Restaurant erhält - ein fairer Deal. Was besonders herausragend ist, ist die Einstellung der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter: Man merkt, dass sie sich mit ihrer Arbeit identifizieren und stolz sind, hier zu arbeiten. Das gilt für den Trainee bis hin zum Manger on Duty. So erhält man einen persönlichen und herzlichen Service, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Großartig! This hotel was priced higher that some others nearby. I chose this hotel because it was closest to the bus station yet Central. The reviews were not promising describing it as pretty old. I'd agree about the outside of the building but the inside felt fairly new. I'm a platinum member and this was well recognized. They gave me a room upgrade to their senior suite and also free breakfast which normally isn't provided to platinum members. The suite was very nice. A large living room plus separate bedroom and bathroom. For some reason the bathroom had two showers, a stall version and a bathtub version. Water pressure was good. They also provided me a plate with some smart desserts. I had a small view of the river area. The room was comfortable with a couch and table plus a desk. TV has smart features. Internet was fast. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options. Unfortunately my first night had very low occupancy in the hotel so breakfast was by order only. This made it a little confusing since there was no list of all the items to choose from. Although I still got plenty to eat I thought that a lot of food was wasted since the portion sizes that I got were quite large and I also got a few extra items I didn't mean to order. The next day had a normal buffet setup. I don't know what the normal rooms are like but I'd 100% come back if I get upgraded to a suite again. With the upgrade, it's probably one of the top HI stays I've ever had.

Ich war schon mehrere Male hintereinander in diesem Hotel. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag das gleiche, aber die Auswahl ist ziemlich reichhaltig. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und freute sich jedes Mal zu treffen. Das einzig schlechte ist, dass die Zimmer relativ klein sind, aber dies ist im Stadtzentrum.

Modernes Hotel sehr nahe an vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Mein Einzelzimmer war sehr klein, aber sauber mit schönem Blick durch ein schlankes Fenster. Internetverbindung war nicht stabil in meinem Zimmer, sondern effizient im Lobbybereich. Ich mochte das geräumige Dach-Ober-Frühstückslounge mit schönem Stadtblick und freundlichem Personal. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gute Qualität. Sie sollten besser die Kreuzfahrt auf der linken Seite nehmen, um die türkische Bazaar auf der anderen Seite der Straße zu besuchen. Vermeiden Sie die schmutzige Fußbrücke auf der rechten Seite, es riecht schrecklich. Sie rauchen überall in Nordmakedonien

Truly dreadful. I never complain about hotels but this place is a real piece of work. We paid for a superior room with Jacuzzi spa and when we checked in the bathroom floor was flooded. We told the staff who arranged for someone to come and clean up and all was well. Until we came back from a days exploring and tried to use the jacuzzi. Sewage water came up through the floor drains and flooded the bathroom. I told the lady at the front desk who was very nice and sent the manager up to our room to investigate. When Macedonian Basil Fawlty arrived, he proceeded to tell me that this is normal and that its not an issue. When I advised him that I didn't think wading through inches of sewage to use the loo was normal he accused us of causing the flooding ourselves and became rude to the point that I had to ask him to leave the room. I felt sorry for the poor girl on the front desk who clearly has to deal with the mans rudeness to guests on a regular basis. In addition the rooms are tired and in desperate need of some tlc. There was hole in our bed, led lighting peeling away from the wall (all of which I would probably have overlooked tbh)

3+ Stern. Zimmer für Verbesserung. Ich wollte 3 tun, aber es fühlte sich hart. Lassen Sie mich erklären. Wie bei anderen Bewertungen ist das Hotel oft unbemannt. Genau wie es WiFi gab, wie wir 2 Fragen per Telefon korrigieren konnten. (Check-in und Stromabschaltung) Wir hatten ein Zwilling reserviert und gab ein Doppel. Angesichts des Mangels an Personal erscheint es nicht wert, das auch zu sortieren, aber das hat vielleicht andere unbehaglich gemacht. Wir hatten keine Anweisungen für das Frühstück, Glücklich war die Dame am Morgen in der Lage, zu helfen und Frühstückskupons zu geben (die Dame war die Reinigung?) So konnten alle oben genannten Fragen durch die Rezeption vorhanden oder bessere Kommunikation gelöst werden. Es ist gerettet durch eine wunderbare Lage! Sehr zentraler. Und das Frühstück (im Geschäft über die Straße serviert) war gut. (Obwohl nicht gut erläutert, wählen Sie Artikel aus einem Menü in einem gesunden Lebensmittelkaffee. Omelette oder smoothie) Wir trafen Goran am Ende. Er schien ein wirklich nett freundlicher Typ. Ich denke, wir hätten bessere Erfahrung hätte er vorgekommen. So bewertet großzügig 4/5 . Aber bessere Kommunikation könnte es positiv machen. (Ich würde wieder bleiben, wie immer noch guten Wert liefern)

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel Alexander II. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Flughafentransfer. Wir waren sehr gut in der Rezeption und das ganze Team war sehr gut und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und vor allem waren wir sehr nah und gingen nach meiner Reise nach Skopje. Ich empfehle Ihnen, dass ich das Hotel Alexandre I bevorzuge.
