Bangalay Luxury Villas

We were in Bangaly for one night only but we wished it was one week or more. The cabins were exquisite and functional, the view to the golf course was lovely and the food was delicious. Loved Zar’s coffee! The luscious gardens and the proximity to a stunning beach made us feel comfortably in the heart of wilderness. We were warmly welcomed by the staff by the staff and so privileged to be there. Thank you, Michelle and Zar!

What a beautiful hidden resort. We stayed here for one night on our drive to a wedding. One a beautiful place. Located near a beach & golf course with a wonderful restaurant and private pool. We stayed in a two bedroom unit. Very nice. Large living space and comfort beds. The only downfall of this unit is it only has one bathroom- not ideal for 4 people. The shower is one without a curtain or glass frame, which when showering drenches the entire bathroom floor in water. Messy & somewhat slippery. I still loved the unit and would stay here again. Staff was very friendly.

From the very get go, Amanda was so helpful going above and beyond to ensure my clients with a disability and us the support workers had the most comfortable and incredible stay at Bangalay She booked us beach access wheelchairs, changed bedding around so it would suit hoist equipment organised mocktails by the pool for the girls and was quite simply amazing. I will definitely be back to enjoy this beautiful spot with my husband.

You’ll be jumping with excitement as soon as you enter the room. It’s beautiful, it’s right near the beach, it’s an easy drive there, plenty of food options, complimentary cocktails and lollies on arrival, it’s heaven. The only thing missing was a bathtub for a bubble bath.

This was a first visit to Shoalhaven Heads. Booked Bangalay Luxury Villas for 3 nights at $600.00 per night. There is no doubt that Michelle and Tom have made a huge effort in developing this enterprise - yet sadly the service deliverables are lacking. Luxury isn’t achieved through capital inves**ent in quality FF&E (interiors and building) alone without ensuring the promised service is delivered. Our experience to share for those considering making a booking: 1. Constant internet problems - no connection first night and problematic second day. 2. Bedsheets were stained with blood marks and soiled. Fairly disgusting and when politely shared at reception - the response was “that’s the outside laundry fault! Really, what about quality control from the housekeeping staff who refresh the room daily, yet 3. Our Room was not serviced on 3rd day when returning at 2.00pm. The reception offered to change the towels and if required would get the housekeeping staff to return as had left for the day. We declined the latter. This so called Luxury Villas operation needs some guidance in delivering the promise of Luxury and here is my suggestion: “Surely for $600/night, the Non-Negotiable standard for Management and Housekeeping is to ensure that there is absolutely no hint of previous in-room occupancy for in-coming occupants” this should be the Gold Standard? 4. The breakfast menu is very limited and could definitely include a few extra options, especially if stays are longer than 2 nights. Overall the resort staff are welcoming and the restaurant team is committed to care for their guests in a genuine manner. It would take some convincing to return to Bangalay Villas once the “Luxury” brand promise can truely be met.

What a memorable start to our Australian adventure! Bangalay villas was the perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas (Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley, Robertson). The villa itself was cozy, immaculately clean, and full of thoughtful details. We enjoyed the on site dining- and wow the food was simply delicious. Above all, the hospitality and level of service at Bangalay exceeded my expectations. Michelle, the owner, clearly has a passion for ensuring a truly wonderful experience for her guests. Thank you Michelle for a truly wonderful time here in Shoalhaven Heads.

We had an absolutely wonderful getaway at Bangalay Luxury Villas to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The villas are lovely and fitting out with everything you could need, including a wonderful fire if you travel in winter like we did. Breakfast was possibly the best we’ve ever had anywhere and the daily cocktails were such a special indulgence. We’ve stayed in some amazing places over the years and this is easily in our top 5. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We've just returned from a 3 night stay (Villa 11) and we've had such an amazing time of pure relaxation! Attentive and professional staff, beautiful and stylish accommodation, delicious food....this, coupled with the stay in the off-peak period, provided a perfect getaway from all the hustle and bustle of Sydney. Definitely will be back the next time we visit the South Coast!

Gorgeous spacious modern villas with everything you might possibly need, great views of the golf course, excellent facilities, our breakfast was included and we also had free drinks per person daily, lovely restaurant on site and stunning walks around the area. The service at the reception was particularly attentive and friendly, absolute pleasure to deal with prior and during our stay. Please do not change!
