High Street Guest House Hongdae - Hostel

Hostel with a room for 6 pax. The concept was that there is no check in and no receptionist. You were given a code to an electronic door lock to your room to access. This worked well for me when I arrived around 1 am from the airport. The lady operating the place was also nice... I messaged her at midnight and she responded! Location was not bad as it is about 1km to Hongdae and the Hongik University subway, which also has access to AREX.

The hostel is close to Hongdae Street, the location is really convenient and the beds are comfortable. Every bed has a curtain so you can have some privacy in case you choose to stay in the shared room.

As Solo traveller you got What you pay for but be aware that for the shake of cleanliness they might touch your stuff, move it, or put it outside the door.

Have stayed in High Street 4 times but dont think Will stay again given that the staff here was not really kind. They touch your stuff without permission. If you are oke with this then you are fine with this hostel. In the middle of the night someone knock the door out loud and wake me up.

It's in a quiet residential area and just few minutes walk you will be in the busy hongdae area. It is also close to the metro station.

Didn’t stay in this hostel due to sudden plan change and couldn’t cancel this booking. Hence would not be reviewing on anything.

2nd time to stay. Super convenient and near train station. From airport you could ride from arex and take exit 2.
