Für die Besichtigung der Kolonialen Zone liegt das Hotel perfekt, es gibt einen eigenen kostenfreien Parkplatz und in 1 Minute ist man in der Altstadt. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich mit einem Glas Sekt, das ganze Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und hochwertig. Die Zimmer sind vielleicht etwas dunkel, das ist aber dem Alter des Gebäudes und der Architektur geschuldet, schöne ebenerdige Dusch, Safe, Minibar und ein Himmelbett. Bei TUI gebucht, es gab sogar eine kleine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung zusätzlich aufs Zimmer. Das Frühstück wird im Innenhof eingenommen, sehr schön und es gibt eine große Auswahl mit hochwertigen Produkten und frischen Orangensaft. Gefühlt waren fast nur Geschäftsleute im Hotel und sehr wenig Touristen, zur Besichtigung der Stadt wirklich super, wir würden wieder hingehen.

Hotel sehr gut gelegen, um die Hauptstadt zu Fuß zu besuchen.. sehr angenehm Personal, und in kleiner Pflege. Das sehr vielfältige und vielfältige Frühstück. Zimmer mit Meerblick, Möglichkeit zu trinken ein Glas auf der Poolterrasse.. Eine kleine Anstrengung für die Französisch wäre das kleine mehr !!!

Buen servicio, buen desayuno,amabilidad del personal excelente ubicación . Hotel es precioso en si mismo. La única pega que le pongo es la falta de iluminación en la habitación. De todas formas es un hotel absolutamente recomendable si quieres hospedarte en el casco ciego de Santo Domingo.

I stayed in El Beaterio for 4 nights. It’s such a beautiful casa museo located in a quiet area. The room is nice and clean decorated with old maps of La española. The courtyard has lots of sunlight and plants that I enjoyed my breakfast here (though you need to apply mosquito repellent as they are quite active if you come in early morning like 6-8am) Check out the terrace in the early morning and you would get a nice photo with sun rise. The staff here are very nice. I stayed in the room downstair the first night and I asked them to change my room to upper floor as i prefer more natural light in my room and they are really helpful to find a room for me and get it ready after I returned from a city walk tour. The breakfast choices are moderate with eggs, sausage, salamis, toast, fruits and yogurt. They also serve a cup of fresh juice and a big pot of hot coffee. The coffee was always hot no matter how long I had my breakfast which was great for me. I also like the location of El Beaterio a lot. It is close to everything but in a quiet and nice area which I feel safe and calm. The restaurant El Buho a few steps from the hotel serves very nice food with reasonable price. I had ceviche tropical and it was very tasty. I tried 4 restaurants in zona colonial and El Buho was my favorite. Highly recommend to stay in El Beaterio if you want to enjoy colonial charm away from the crowds.

Hotel Dona Elvira was recommended to my family who planned an overnight trip to see the sights of Santo Domingo’s colonial zone. This hotel did not disappoint. Aesthetically, it’s gorgeously historic. Its common area is open-air, covered and cooled by a magnificent mango tree with a pool in the middle (I’m not sure if the pool is meant for swimming, though it is clean and clear). Our room was large, very clean, air-conditioned, and well stocked with toiletries, towels, etc. Great, filling breakfast options are included in the room rate with a supper menu offered as well (not included in the rate). I found the staff to be VERY friendly, helpful, and accommodated some small changes to one of our room reservations without hesitation. We had a light, casual conversation with the owner during which he touched on the hotel’s history. I really do wish I could have spent more time in S.D. and taken in more of this quaint little boutique gem of a hotel.

Hotel super bien ubicado en la zona colonial, muy rápido el check in y la habitación era pequeña con dos camas individuales, pero muy bien organizados los espacios. Me gustó la cercanía al malecón de Santo Domingo, los monumentos y restaurantes. El desayuno estaba muy bueno, era buffet con platillos variados, jugo, té y café. Sólo tuvimos un problema con la regadera el primer día, pero lo reporté en la recepción y lo arreglaron de forma inmediata. Lo que sí es que tienen un refrigerados con productos y agua que no están incluídos pero debo de decir que los precios muy caros, una botella de agua de 1.5 lts casi 4 usd, cuando en el super no llegaba ni a un dolar. Consejos: Nosotras tomamos un taxi desde la parada del Expreso bávaro que era la del parque Enriquillo hacia la zona colonial por 5 usd, posteriormente, nos arreglamos con el taxista y nos llevo del hotel al aeropuerto las Américas. Si alguien quiere los datos de contacto, por favor, mándeme un mensaje. La avenida del conde es donde pueden encontrar más souvenirs y a buen precio. Tengan cuidado con los vendedores callejeros que te dicen que venden plata .025 y larimar, muchas veces no son originales. Para entrar a catedral necesitan ir con ropa que cubra los hombros y falda abajo de la rodilla o pantalón. Algunos monumetos estaban cerrados porque había eventos como bodas y quinceañerasa.

Ich mag es wirklich nicht persönlich, aber das Frühstücksfrauen bei Colonial 154H Hotel mag weder ihren Job, die Menschen zu dienen, noch früh aufzustehen. Es geht nicht um Komponenten, Sprachenprobleme, Geschwindigkeit oder Zeit. Ich bin ein ziemlich Patienten Gast (Ich hoffe;-)). es geht um Gastfreundschaft, allgemeine Freundschaft und Mangel an Versuch ... Jedenfalls, am dritten Tag habe ich mich gerade eine andere Frühstücksposition gefunden und vielmehr extra bezahlt (gehe zum Hauptplatz vor der Kathedrale - gutes Frühstück, Preis und Service!) ... Dieses Hotel ist in der Tat eine schöne kleine Oase in der Mitte des Kolonialviertels mit (kleiner, aber) schön dekorierten Zimmern und freundlichen/kompetenten Mitarbeitern. Wenn Sie also eine Reservierung erhalten können, die nicht das Frühstück enthält, empfehle ich Kolonial 154H, wenn nicht, prüfen Sie andere Optionen ...

Ein besseres Hotel kann ich mir für die historische Altstadt in Santo Domingo nicht vorstellen! Einfach perfekt! Freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal! Super Zimmer, wir hatten das Zimmer mit dem großen Balkon! Das Frühstück ist völlig ausreichend, man kann zwischen 3 Optionen wählen. Wir kommen aus Deutschland und waren 2 Tage dort um alles in der Altstadt zu erkunden! Wir kommen wieder! Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!!!
