Excellent hotel with excellent location. Just a couple steps from the Santiago Cathedral. Super clean room. Beautiful building with modern rooms. The service was good. They offered breakfast for 8euros. Next time we will stay in the same hotel!!

Great location right on main square next to cathedral. Beautiful rooms, mix of modern and old stone walls. Love the shower. Check in lady was very nice and helpful.

What a stunning experience! The contrast of the (very tastefully) modern hotel on the historical town square is so beautifully done – especially in our room where the entire front wall is a window looking out onto the square (there are wall switches for automated privacy blackout blinds in handy spots around the room). The room layout was thoughtful, elegant and luxurious, although (like many hotels these days) it’s important to note the toilet is behind only a swinging glass door (not fully frosted) and the bathtub is in the main room (not a problem for a couple or solo guest, but wouldn’t work for other travellers). We were greeted very warmly on arrival and checkout, and also received tips beforehand on where to park nearby. We loved Hotel Plaza Obradoiro, and only wish we had a longer visit!

The hotel is beautiful. It mixes the old historic with modern updates and conveniences. Everything was very clean, and the front desk very helpful and informative.

Great accomodation just a few steps from the Cathedral. Modern simple but very elegant design. Impeccably clean, friendly staff. Definitely a great treat at the end of the Camino! We reserved in time, 3 double rooms in the middle of August, everything went smoothly. Will come back!

Overall I loved the property, and especially the people at the front desk. They were very kind and extremely helpful. There were a couple of issues. The air conditioning unit had to be re-booted and finally worked after a day. And my friend’s room on the first floor had a distinct odor or must or mold. But again - overall the location was fabulous for everything in Old Town of Santiago de Compostela.
