Motel 6 Escondido, CA

Absolutely terrible! First, the nonsmoking room smells more of smoke than the the guest lottering around smoking I n the steps and breezeway. The water smelt of sewage, was too fearful to shower in it. The people arguing, the dogs barking forced me to leave and drive back home half asleep. I would never recommend this site to anyone I cared for. Just terrible.

Great price! But first room’s bed smelled as if the previous guest peed/pooped in it, the floor was filthy, & entire room smelled of body odor! Head Housecleaner remade the bed but it still smelled. Housekeeper couldn’t smell the odor and tried to dismiss me but I went to the office & complained! Yes the front desk gave me another room that was cleaned & no odor.

I’m a bit g fan of Motel 6, but unfortunately, housekeeping missed several important areas ie bathroom sink. Other than that, my stay was pleasant. Thank you very much.

The environment is not safe for families We had to be next to the room of some young people who were listening to music late at night and smoking a legal, but toxic substance in the access hallway.

My confirmation email stated there was a mini fridge and microwave but there wasn't a microwave and the man who checked me in was very rude about it when I showed him the email stating the room accommodations said both fridge and microwave.

I used to stay here years ago. The improvements they've made are phenomenal. The employees are extremely kind, helpful, friendly and understanding. They make you feel so welcome. They go out of their way to help you in anyway they can. Let's not forget the price. The price is perfect. No deposit and affordable. I will continue to stay here every chance I get.
