The staff at this hotel go above and beyond regarding service and maintenance of it. They have small parking garage available around the corner- NOT an open lot, it is well secured- looks like it doubles as storage for some gift store. We did not eat the meal offered in the morning- it looked great- we wanted to try local restaurants while we were in town. The room we had was small, one bed- but it was very, very cozy and comfy- did not need extra room. Had flat screen t.v. with cable, fresh drinking water at no extra cost, and some candies as well. The location of this hotel is perfect- you are in the middle of town and there are so many plazas and places to check out within walking distance, you really don't need a car. Several of the plazas have tour buses that are open on the top level that tour the town at reasonable cost- there is lost of history in this city. The bathroom was very nice, and the shower worked great. We were there in July, and we needed a sweater in the morning, late-afternoons, and evenings. Very nice relief from the heat of your home town of Ciudad Madero. Price per night was very affordable. The stay at Hotel Posada del Carmen made our vacation very enjoyable- we have great memories of this place and the staff who attended us. THANK YOU !!!

This property has excellent customer service and is greatly located near everything that can be seen. Carmen at the reception desk was wonderful and very accommodating. The draw back is that is not handicapped accessible, if you're traveling with elder or handicapped individuals. Room was clean and had everything you need.
