Die besten Hotels in Provinz Salamanca, Spanien

Die Anfahrt zum Parador gestaltet sich einfach und ist gut ausgeschildert. Der moderne Zweckbau verblüfft durch eine weitläufige parkähnliche Außenanlage mit Außepool. Der moderne Zweckbau erinnert äußerlich an typische Touristenhotels an der Play de Palma oder Benidorm, ebenso die ganze Innenarchitektur. Der Check-In verlief schnell unkompliziert, freundlich und höflich. Die nächste Überraschung war dann die für spanische Verhältnisse zwar große, helle und saubere Tiefgarage mit einem vernünftig großen Stellplatz, aber mit 16 Euros Gebühren pro Tag schon dehr deftig übertrieben, zumal in den AGB der Amigos immer mit kostenfreier Garage geworben wird. Das großzügige Zimmer (Nr. 313) mit aufpreispflichtigem Blick auf Salamancas Altstadt ist modern gestaltet mit Panoramafenster, aber leider keinem Balkon. Das Hotelrestaurant, tja, ist anscheinend ein eigener Kosmos. Zur Begrüßung wird man erst einmal stehen gelassen weil die Herren Kellner erst einmal mit ihrem Chefe eine Debatte austragen mussten. Danach lies sich der Chefkellner dazu herab uns einen Tisch zuzuweisen. Was auffälig ist, dass die komplette Crew im Restaurant männlich war. Wie sich dann im Verlauf des Abends herausstellte auch die typischen Machomanieren an sich hat. Von Freundlichkeit und Höflichkeit fehlt jede Spur. Arroganz und nicht unbedingt Arbeitseifer herrschen vor! Das durchweg lauwarme Essen ist für einen 4*-Parador stillos, einzig und allein das frische Tischbrot war annehmbar. Apropos Bar, hier herrschte Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit den Gästen gegenüber vor. Beim Frühstück war dann wieder die arrogante Machogruppe am Werk! Wie wäre es mal mit einem Betriebsausflug dieser kompletten Crew ins gegenüber liegende Universitätsklinikum? DORT könnten alle mal lernen wie Freundlichkeit, Fachkompetenz und Höflichkeit gegenüber dem zahlenden Kunden funktioniert! Zum Glück waren wir einmal von Freunden zu Essen in die Stadt eingeladen, was für ein qualitativer Unterschied, herrlich! Das weitere Mal haben wir auch extern zu Abend gegessen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Also für eine solch geschichtsträchtige und berühmte Universitätsstadt wie Salamanca ist dieser Parador eine Pleite! Wir werden hier mit Sicherheit nicht zum ”Wiederholungstäter”. Für eine deftige auspreispflichtige Panoramasicht auf Salamanca muss man das nicht haben. Da gibt es andere Hotels in der gleichen Kategorie! Wir haben uns eigentlich für den Parador entschieden, weil wir die Stadt schon von früheren Besuchen her kennen und wollten uns etwas besonderes gönnen. Wir wurden zwar von einheimischen Freunden ”gewarnt” und darauf hingewiesen, dass der Parador unter Salmantinos keinen besonders guten Ruf genießt und es hat sich leider bestätigt! Schade. Genauere Angaben habe ich bereits im Gesamtbericht gemacht. ICH bin hier Gast und nicht der Sklave der Kellner! Und bei solch einem unprofessionellen Auftreten der kompletten Crew kann man nur den Kopf schütteln!

Booked here last minute on travel through Spain. It has several options which appealed to us: family rooms with kitchenette, pets welcomes, 24 hour check-in, secure parking, walking distance to city centre. There are other options for families with small children but none/few with the above conveniences. The positives: The area is easily reachable with a drop-off in front. Underground, secure parking is right around the corner with direct elevator access to the lobby/rooms. The facilities and rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom was modern with good quality towels. Beds were comfortable. Some other reviewers complained about the distance to the old centre but frankly its 1 km! Come on! If you are using bus transport its right across the street from the bus terminal but its not a big city terminal which usually attracts ”colourful” characters. There's several eating options at the terminal. The underground parking was great in that the spaces were very large and it was secure. The negatives: As we arrived late the garage door was closed and wouldn't open automatically with the parking ticket so my wife had to get out and walk around to the lobby to ask they remotely open it. The air-con was a little noisy. The blind on our window was stuck closed so we couldn't let any daylight in, but we were just there for sleeping and bathing. The furniture is nothing special but functional.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut und seine Lage ist sehr gut. Das alte Gebäude in Salamanca ist in der Nähe. Nach dem Abendessen im Hotel und nach draußen zu Fuß sehen Sie die schöne Landschaft. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist auch lecker. Fantastisch, der Preis ist im Vergleich zu Hongkong nicht teuer. Wir haben ein schwarzes Handtuch gegessen, es ist wirklich weich, es lohnt sich einen nächsten Versuch.

Das Hotel liegt günstig in der Nähe zahlreicher Läden und hat einen eigenen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Die eher kleinen Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet, das Bad hat eine Wanne. Klimaanlage nicht regelbar (no tocar). Das Zimmer war etwas hellhörig, die Nachbarn aber ruhig. Die Rezeption schloss ungewöhnlicherweise nachmittags um 5 Uhr. Die Bar war ständig geschlossen. Die vier Sterne sind daher nicht berechtigt. Das mit € 6,50 günstige Frühstück war recht einfach. Warmspeisen oder normales Brot gab es nicht, Milch und Butter suchte ich vergebens. Der Kaffeevollautomat verwendete Bohnen . Preis meist günstig.

This hotel is wonderful and budget friendly. We were driving so were looking for somewhere easy to get to, that had parking and close enough to the historic district to walk to. This hotel ticks all the boxes AND we had a lovely, big, comfortable, quiet old fashioned room. We parked on the street but had we needed it there is secure hotel parking for a small fee. The staff are charming and there’s a nice little bar for a nightcap or coffee. Breakfast was perfectly good and set us up for the day.

POSITIVES - Hotel Spa which has several pools and accepts children over a certain age. - Room cleaning very good. - Reception and Spa staff pleasant. - Set in nice and quiet countryside. NEGATIVES - Hotel needs refurbishment: wall paper coming up, mildew around bath, toilet flush kept stalling. And the hotel decoration is generally a bit dated. - Beds not very comfy and only one pillow per person. - Hotel several kms from the city - I would only stay here for city tourism with a car. - Breakfast doesn't have the biggest selection, is in a room with no natural lighting and they are abrupt when it finishes - switch music and some of lights off and immediately start telling people it's time to leave! - Spa is expensive. - Pay extra for underground parking per day. There are a few overground spaces that are free. - My husband asked for some ice one evening... They refused to bring it up to the room and said he'd have to go down to the restaurant to fetch it - they then proceeded to charge him €1 for a paper cup of ice?! Seemed very weird for a 4* hotel! We didn't try the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on that. Overall, worth it for the spa with our children, but if it wasn't for that would stay elsewhere.

Since 2013 I have been staying at this hotel during four weeks (second week of May - first week of June) a year. Since my first time here, I have felt like being at home. All personnel are very welcoming and do everything they can to help you enjoy your stay. Their offer full breakfast with great hot and cold options; and you can enjoy it while contemplating one of the most beautiful views over Plaza Mayor (main square). Furthermore, location is unbeatable. Overall, I love staying here year after year; I already consider them part of my extended family!

Our stay at Hacienda Zorita was perfect in every way, truly faultless. From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us and let us know that we were much appreciated guests who were going to be well cared for in a highly professional yet relaxed and friendly way. Dreamy and romantic are the adjectives that come to mind when describing this ancient monastery dating back to 1366, located on the river Tormes. There simply could not be a more perfect setting for a wedding. Our daughter and son-in-law were married here and the entire day was joyous. As far as organisation was concerned, every stage of the day ran as smooth as a very well oiled machine. High quality organic food and wine is produced at this venue. The standard of the food and drink served to a large number of guests at each stage of the day went over and above expectations. The generous servings of a multitude of delicious canapies upon arrival was quite a happy topic of conversation amongst the guests. All this served with ice cold glasses of champagne from a strong number of smart well-trained waiting staff. This set the scene for a day that the staff grasped with determination to ensure that each and every guest had the time of their lives. The experience of staying as a hotel guest was equally world class. The rooms are charming and rustic, in keeping with the history of the building, whilst providing luxury and all the usual facilities one expects of a hotel of this standing. The beds and luxurious bedding deserve a mention in their own right for the comfort and wonderful night's sleep they provided. The grounds are well manicured and fascinating, providing walks with views to delight the eye around every corner, after which one can wander into the main house at what seemed like any time and sit by the river to be served delicious food. Such is the pride in the meat and cheese they produce, that they have a special room with a glass wall to display what is on offer! There is a small spa on the premises which we didn't visit but I was told by another guest that they also offer massage and it was excellent. The location of this great historic hotel complex is idyllic, set deep in glorious countryside yet 10 mins drive from Salamanca and all its history and exquisite architecture. Pick up the phone and reception always get a taxi there within 20 mins. What more can I say? Hacienda Zorita will undoubtedly call us back time and time again.

It was such an enjoyable stay at this hotel because our bedroom was beautiful and spacious. The views from our window were fabulous. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice but it has room for improvement in terms of choices of menu. Fabulous hotel and we will definitely return.

Hotel mit einem zentralen, sauberen und schönen. Freundliche Arbeiter und helfen Ihnen überall. Sie verfügt über private Parkplätze, die nicht notwendig sind, dieses Gut zuvor zu buchen, obwohl der Eingang ein wenig versteckt ist und es sehr kostspielig ist, es zu finden. Wir haben dort nur eine Nacht verbracht, die uns sehr gefällt. Wir werden sicher zurückkehren.
