gutes Landhotel mit guter Ausstattung und modernem Bad, Qualität des Abendessens und des Frühstücks sehr gut. Ideale Verbindung an den Pilgerbus nach Le Puy. Inhaberin spricht französisch, deutsch und englisch.

Walking the route of St Jacques in the Aubrac region hotels are a bit hit and miss! Here we found an excellent little hotel, vety clean and comfortable. We were welcomed by the charming owners who were both from the North of France. After a frink in tje bar we sat doxn to an excellent dinner using delicious local produce. We slept well and continued our walk after a very good and lentiful breakfast. Very recome ded if you are in the area.

This is an excellent, small, family run hotel in St Chely. I had a problem with my foot while walking the Chemin St Jacques so stayed here for two nights to rest it. My room was nicely designed and up under the rafters on the top floor. I had a lovely view over the village and the nearby hills. Everything was new, in excellent working order, and extremely clean. The one thing that stood out to me was the food - my room was half-board so dinner came with the price. Their dishes are typical Aveyron cuisine and the owner told me that all of their ingredients are locally sourced - this is obvious when you sit down for a meal. The dinner I had on my second night there was one of the best I’ve had in France. Local sausage with a garlic/tomato sauce, potatoes with a cream sauce made of local cheese and herbs, and a chocolate mousse for dessert that was out of this world. I’ve had many meals in this country and this one will stand out in my memory! If you need to stay in this beautiful small town, I highly recommend this place!

Day 2 on the Chemin de St Jacques we slept and ate here. Bedroom accomodation very comfortable with all that we needed. Walking boots kept separately downstairs to make sure all areas of the hotel kept clean. Food at dinner a fixed menu but with good choices. Whether to have dessert or not was not an option one had to order - what hardship !! Food all very good and plentiful just what was needed after a day of trekking. Breakfast an open buffet with many choices of fruit bread juice etc. Coffee tea and hot chocolate all freely available . Staff all very pleasant and helpful during our stay. Extremly efficiently run hotel and bar. One to recommend.

Lovely place, excellent food, friendly and competent staff. Location perfect for pelerins on the Via Podiensis. Beautiful little town. It was a real haven for tired pilgrims. I can strongly recommend this repos!

This is a well run family hotel. Excellent hospitality. Stayed here while walking the Via Podiensis Camino. Arrived wet and bedraggled and they took good care of me, and the other pilgrims who dripped in. The Chef is really into simple good food. The other owner went to clean a room early for me, rather than make me wait. The employee, Lucille, waits tables and cleans rooms and works super hard yet is very friendly. All in all would be happy to stay and eat here again. Thanks!

Super family hotel with all comforts and fabulous chef with flair. Food is superb. Rooms spacious, well thought out, clean and comfy. All staff helpful. A warm welcome. Excellent value and a beautiful location with year round interest. Plenty to do for sporty and outdoor types and good museums/galleries within driving distance. Picturesque.

Arrivés par hasard dans ce lieu magique au fil de notre chemin de Compostelle avec quelques pèlerins, nous n’avons eu tous qu’une envie : rester dans cet hôtel restaurant incroyablement accueillant ! Elise et son mari, leur gentillesse, leur spontanéité à nous laisser entrer dans leur établissement et nous servir alors que nous étions tous trempés jusqu’aux os, méritent d’être soulignées et de le partager ! Nous avons alors assisté à un remarquable spectacle en cuisine, en salle, et au bar maîtrisé de main de maître par toute l’équipe malgré le coup de feu ! Un grand merci encore à cet adorable couple qui force le respect, et à leur équipe toute aussi professionnelle ! Mes amis pèlerins et moi nous nous sommes régalés ! Je / nous recommandons vivement ce lieu magique à tous les pèlerins ou autres qui passeraient sur leur chemin

Notre chambre était petite mais très propre et avec tout le nécessaire et même une baignoire. Le repas du soir et le petit déjeuner juste excellent et l'équipe est parfaite et très accueillante. Une étape de rêve sur le chemin de Compostelle. Un grand merci
