We didn't want to come home. The staff were great, we loved the hotel and will definitely be back. We used the outdoor pool, indoor pool and spa facilities. The hotel is a bit secluded and we couldn't go anywhere without transport but once we realised that the Bolt app (like Uber) was a fraction of the cost of a taxi, we were exploring regularly. Vilamoura Marina was great for food/drinks. The waterpark was good fun, even better that it was included. The queues could be long but that's standard with these places.

For a 3 star hotel this is excellent. We had to check out of our villa at 10am - but with a late evening flight home we needed somewhere to dump our cases and enjoy a pool somewhere for the day. We booked this (had to phone due to strange check in/out that we needed) we booked the room from 10am-7pm , obviously we had to be charged for the full day (80 euros) what a bargain! We weren't expecting much but we are pleasantly surprised (writing this sat by the peaceful pool ). Room is large and very clean - can't vouch for.comfort of bed as we won't be sleeping in them). This would make a great, value for money, base and you wouldn't be disappointed with pool and bar - we were feeling a bit deflated coming from a beautiful villa with private pool to a small hotel - but we love it! Staff are very helpful and friendly. If your looking for a good value hotel - this is it!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Wir kamen früh wegen unseres Fluges und checkte um 3 Uhr ein. Das Personal hat unsere Gepäck gelagert, bis das Zimmer bereit war und sie uns die Einrichtungen nutzen lassen. Personal sehr freundlich und untergebracht. Das Frühstück war eine Auswahl an Brot, Croissants, Getreide, Jugoslawien, Käse und Fleisch sowie eine Kaffeemaschine, Tee und Saft serviert zwischen 7am-10am. Aparent* ein bisschen zu weit vom Strand zu gehen, so würden wir empfehlen Mietwagen oder wir verwendeten die ”Bolt” App, die zwischen €5-€8 jede Reise zum Strand kostet und war günstiger als ein Taxi. Es gibt einige wirklich schöne Restaurants in der Nähe und ein Geschäft neben der Tür, die verkauft die Grundstücke. Pool war nett mit viel Sonnenunterkünfte. Würde sehr empfehlen und würde wieder bleiben.

Wir hatten das Hotel im Rahmen einer Pauschalreise gebucht, DZ mit Frühstück. Die Wahl für dieses Hotel fiel wegen der fantastischen Lage direkt an Promenade und Strand, die Wahl auf den - weniger schönen Ort - Quarteira, da wir bewusst auf ein Auto verzichten wollten und der ÖPNV sehr gut und nah am Hotel ist. Unseren Kundenwünschen nach einer höheren Etage und einem Kingsizebett wurde entsprochen, wir bekamen Zimmer 707, ganz oben mit Stadtsicht und ohne Balkon. Am Ankunftstag durften wir bereits um 12 Uhr das Zimmer beziehen, was besonders schön war, da wir die Reise mitten in der Nacht in Deutschland begonnen hatten. Unser Zimmer war relativ groß, das Bett groß und bequem und im Bad gab es eine Dusche statt der auf der HP abgebildeten Badewanne. Für uns perfekt. Was für ein 3*-Hotel auch nicht üblich ist: es befand sich ein Wasserkocher mit Tassen plus zusätzlich zwei Trinkgläsern im Zimmer. Ideal für den ersten - mitgebrachten Instant- kaffee im Bett. Das Zimmer war sauber, lediglich war einmal im Bad das Waschbecken vergessen worden zu putzen und dem Foen nebst Halterung war deutlich anzusehen, dass er schon länger keinen Lappen mehr gesehen hatte. Im Zimmer hab es zudem noch einen Minikühlschrank zur Nutzung. Das Hotel haben wir insgesamt als sehr ordentlich und sauber erlebt, das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Farben Türkis und Sand-Taupe zogen sich als Corporate Identity durch das ganze Hotel, was einer sehr angenehmen Stimmung zuträglich war. Wir hatten nur mit Frühstück gebucht, das kalt-warme Buffet war mit allem bestückt, was das Herz begehrt, für die deutsche Frühstücksseele gab es insgesamt jeweils vier Sorten Aufschnitt und Käse sowie mehrere Sorten leckere Marmelade. Obst, Kuchen, mehrere Brotsorten und Cerealien runden das Frühstück ab. Kaffee nur aus Automaten. Trinkbar, die Bars ringsum haben jedoch besseren. Abends haben wir 3x das Buffet (kalte Vorspeisen und Salate, 3 Hauptgerichte, diverse Desserts) dazu gebucht. Die Qualität war gut, für uns hätte manches jedoch kräftiger gewürzt sein können. Unser Fazit: wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Perfekte Betreuung. Super ausgebildete und nette Beamte. Das Zimmer war sehr gut, alles war in Ordnung. Ein sehr vielfältiges Frühstück. Ich werde sicher das Hotel Altismar angeben. Ohne die Kosten-Nutzen-Verhältnis, das war hervorragend.

We did the Wowcher mystery holiday and ended up with this fabulous hotel ! The apartments and staff are incredible! The whole complex is very clean and tidy ! The food at the restaurant is very nice and plenty choice , the drinks at the bar have a great choice and I need to give a special mention to one member of staff who literally ran around and was an absolute super star our whole visit , he practically ran the restaurant and the bar single handedly the whole 4 days we was there , his name is Fabio
