Waren mit 10 Personen und unseren 5 Oldtimern unterwegs. Für diese gab es ausreichend Stellflächen im Hoteleigenen Parkhaus. Die Zimmer sind Modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Frühstück war ok konnte unseren Geschmack aber nicht genau treffen - mehr auswahl an Obst und Gemüse statt Kuchen und Keksen. Das Hauseigene Restaurant hat uns für einen Abend ebenfalls Lecker bekocht. Die Mitarbeiter waren allesamt sehr Hilfreich und Zuvorkommend. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Das Zimmer, das wir anfangen, ist kompliziert, aber die Heizung ist nicht ausreichend, die höchste Wäsche kann 21 Grad einrichten, das Zimmer ist sehr kalt, das Badezimmer ist nicht warm, ich sagte dem Rezeptor, es wurde ein wenig höher, überhaupt nichts zu tun; am nächsten Tag wechselte ich ein Flachbildzimmer, es war warmer. Aber weil ich den Tag vorhin verletzt wurde, waren ich und meine Kinder gefangen... Das Hotel-Dekoration ist gut. Neben einem Mädchen auf der Rezeption ist es heißer, andere sind kalt.

Wir haben eine Nacht auf einem zweitägigen Fahrrad auf den Alpen gehalten. Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal (entfernt vom Statale-Verkehr 38) und obwohl der wenige Verkehr, der dort durchläuft, entlang einer Straße nicht zu stören ist; es hat einen großen Parkplatz vorne, der auch die Kunden des Restaurants/Pizzeria-Anschlusses empfängt und Sie hat einen wunderschönen Blick (die wir auch von der Terrasse des Zimmers genießen konnten). Die Besitzer weisen nach freundlichkeit, Professionalität und Kundenbeachtung, die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und verfügbar. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren geräumig und sauber, ein bequemes Schlafzimmer. Frühstück ist gut, mit Buffet, mit breitem Süßen und Salat sowie auch Celiacea-Produkte. Vor dem Abendessen haben wir einen Spritz genossen, der in dem kleinen Garten neben dem Restaurant gelebt hat, mit Kartoffeln, Tarallines und einem Schnitt aus hervorragenden Salzen und Käse mit Brot serviert. Natürlich haben wir auch zum Abendessen geblieben, indem wir aus dem Menü auf Papier wählen : Schachteln, Pizzocchieri (die guten, die je gegessen, wert die schriftliche Wartezeit von 20 Minuten!), Schnitt, Kaffee und bitter. Alles sehr gut. Die Teile sind so reichlich, dass wir uns auf die Umgehung (die Schnittstelle und die Schatten sind immer noch mit Salat serviert) und auf den Süßen verzichten mussten. Insgesamt empfehlen wir dieses Raum. Ps: die wertvollste Tasse meiner Fahrradfahrten (die Inhaber werden verstehen.. :-) )

First time to Madesimo and couldn't of had a better trip, hotel was perfect and the staff were great, made to feel welcome and at home from the moment net we arrived. A special mention to Luca for looking after us and making sure we didn't miss one lesson even if we only gave him 5 minutes to get us there!!! The hotel is exactly what you would want for a trip with friends, Alexandro provided the best service in the bar. we will 100% be net next year, Thank you. Tom, Tuesday, Eira & Maddox

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia a gennaio presso questo Hotel in pieno centro a Bormio. Le nostre camere pulite e di recente ristrutturazione erano situate nella zona adiacente il corpo centrale dell’albergo ma comodamente collegate sia da un passaggio interno che dalla strada. L’hotel è’ ben curato, arredato con eleganza nello stile tipico di montagna. Il ristorante ottimo con ampia scelta sia nel menù degli adulti che in quello dei bambini. Particolare attenzione alle intolleranze. Abbiamo una bambina celiaca che ha potuto mangiare senza problemi in quanto dalla cucina hanno accontentato ogni nostra richiesta. Attenzione e cura che abbiamo trovato anche nel personale della reception e nella proprietà. Consiglio questo hotel dove sicuramente torneremo.

I stayed here for one night ahead of a trip on the Bernina Express. Firstly, I’d have to comment on the fact that, despite its name suggesting otherwise, the hotel is not really that central. It may be reasonably central to what was the old town of Tirano, but it is quite a bit further from the railway station (the main attraction for most visitors, I’d imagine) than many of its competitors. If, like me, you’re trailing heavy luggage behind you, then be aware it’s a good 7-10 minute walk across uneven, cobbled streets with few pavements. All of that said, the hotel was quiet, very clean and generally well presented. Decorative finishes in the bedroom were somewhat dated but the bed itself was very comfortable. A hospitality tray with kettle, a well-stocked mini bar and a decent rain shower were good features. Breakfast was very pleasant but did not offer much in the way of choice of some items, with the bread offering and fresh fruit selections being somewhat limited. Like many hotels these days, a key card is required to operate the room’s powered services such as lighting and ventilation. In public areas, motion sensors do the job. The slightly annoying thing about this property is that the lights seemed to go out nano seconds after passing through a previously unlit area or removing the key card to exit the room. Whilst saving energy and keeping costs low is clearly important for everyone, this felt over zealous and somewhat stingy. Finally, my biggest criticism of the Hotel Centrale would be the exceptionally early checkout time of 10.00am. Bearing in mind that that this hotel rates itself as a 4-star property, this seems an unreasonably early hour to expect guests to have quit their accommodation. Even most budget hotels these days afford guests a checkout time of closer to mid day . Overall, a comfortable enough stay but with some issues which might make me less inclined to either return myself or recommend this hotel to others.
