Alle Mitarbeiter.innen (Empfang, housekeeping, Küche) waren äußerst hilfsbereit und erfüllten unsere Wünsche prompt. Unser Zimmer 904 DZ superior war groß, hell , mit getrenntem Waschbereich und Dusche/Wc im Bad. Die Betten samt Kopfkissen perfekt, das Frühstück grandios, Eierspeisen werden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet man wird unaufgefordert gefragt. Eine Vielzahl an frisch gepressten Säften , frischem Obst, warmen Speisen, süßen Kleinigkeiten und diversen Kaffeespezialitäten ect. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Der Costanera Sky Tower ist fussläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Am Hotel rechts um die Ecke hält der Hop on - hop off Bus, mit dem man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten entspannt anfahren kann. Da unser Fug erst abends angesetzt war, fragte ich nach der Möglichkeit eines Late-Check-outs. Auch das wurde ermöglicht, bis 14 Uhr kostenlos, danach pro Std. 15 €. Dadurch war es ein entspannter Tag in Santiago de Chile und ein geglückter Transfer von Valparaiso zum Flughafen von Santiago de Chile.

Erste Vegan-Bewertung. Meine Frau und ich sind Vegan und wir hatten nicht viel erwartet. Erster Tag hatten sie wenig Kartons Mandelmilch, aber nach diesem Tag hatten sie keine mehr. Sie haben verschiedene Früchte, Beeren, Cantaloupe, keine Bananen, das ist merkwürdig. und einige nicht frische Früchte wie Pinien in Sirup. Sie haben auch Kaffee und Tee. Oranges, die Sie mit heißem Wasser aus dem Nestle Kaffeemacher heißes Wasser machen können. Getreide wie Maisflacken und trockenes Brot. Badewanne geschlossen ”unter Wartung” schlechte Dinge: Zimmerschlüssel bleibe fehl. Muss es mehrmals reprogrammiert werden. Toilette schlägt nicht gut, musste es mehrmals tun. Seifenbaren sind klein und nicht sehr schwach. Kann das Wasser sein, aber nicht sicher. Kein kostenloses Kaffee im Zimmer, nur eine warme Wasser-elektrische Kettle Pros: Sauberes Zimmer. Guter Service. Über die Straße von einem Starbucks, Gemüsegeschäft. Gehstrecke von Bars/Restaurants. Insgesamt, eine gute Option für ein Budget-Hotel.

Wir haben 2 Nächte nach einer Kreuzfahrt dort übernachtet. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits und man sollte schon gut zu Fuß sein, wenn man in die Stadt kommen möchte. Andererseits ist die Lage gerade in den momentanen unsicheren Zeiten wiederum optimal. Recht zentral aber doch weit genug weg und schneller Anbindung an die großen Strassen Richtung Flughafen. ;-) Das Hotel selbst ist sehr groß und unser Zimmer in der 3. Etage (359) relativ klein. Da wir gerade von einer 5 wöchigen Kreuzfahrt kamen hatten wir schon etwas Probleme die Koffer zu öffnen. Etwas unprofessionell fand ich, dass bei Ankunft die Badutensilien nicht vollständig waren. Shampoo und Bodylotion war vorhanden aber Seife und Duschzeug fehlte. Am darauf folgenden Tag war dann das Toilettenpapier nicht aufgefüllt und erst nach 3x nachfragen an der Rezeption kam noch welches. Wir haben 2 x in der Lobby gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Preise sind schon hoch aber für ein 5 Sterne Hotel angemessen. Frühstück draussen am Pool war etwas kühl aber das Ambiente schön. Hier sollte man ein stärkeres Auge auf das Buffet haben. Heruntergefallene Löffel (im Honig) oder sonstige ”Unfälle” werden kaum bemerkt. Ansonsten ist das Angebot nur normaler Durchschnitt für ein 5 Sterne Hotel aber die Bedienungen waren ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Gefährlich fand ich den Fußweg von der Straße links und rechts hoch zur Eingangstür des Hotels. Durch die merkwürdigen Stufen und die gelben Streifen bin ich mehrfach fast gestürzt.

Das war nicht unsere übliche Wahl für Santiago, aber wir hatten in der Nähe Treffen und nahmen eine Chance. Die Nachbarschaft, in der Almasur wohnt, ist eine freundliche und freundliche Nachbarschaft mit einem charmanten Platz von Restaurants, Cafés und Bars. Es gibt ein paar private Schulen und Hochschulen, die Main Street ist mit Plane Bäumen gekoppelt und mit einer Atmosphäre eher wie Paris verbunden! Das Hotel ist brandneu und perfekt für Geschäftsreisen mit großen Zimmern. Die Café-Bar ist großartig für Arbeit und Treppe. Ich werde hier nochmal bleiben.

I was excited about staying in this new and modern hotel during my trip to Chile this month. I was ready to overlook the location- being far from the historic sites. The fact that the hotel is attached to a nice modern mall with a grocery store made it very appealing. However, the positive sides stop here, and I must mention that one of the doors, leading to the hotel from the mall wouldn't open- my card was working but the door was stuck. So, I had to go back 5 floors of escalators, exit the mall and walk into the hotel's street entrance- all this carrying a heavy bag with my purchases. The biggest shortcoming for this hotel is the Front Desk and the hotel’s concept that all guest’s calls have to go through the desk. And although the nice employees who work there try very hard, the desk is severely understaffed. I waited for a long time to check- in as there was only one person on duty. Someone else finally came to check me in. They say that the first impressions are very important and in this case they set the tone for my stay. Problems with logging into the internet( the employee who checked me in forgot to add me to the system) and the room TV that I had to solve right after I got into my room; even had go to the Front desk for because no-one picked up the phone. And all that after traveling for 24 hours and being very tired from my journey. This morning I again tried to get in touch with the Front desk for another issue, but again no one picked up the phone. I know that if I go to the desk I will have to wait for a very long time to be served only to be told that I need to wait in my room. Because of the many unlicensed taxis in Santiago, the hotel's staff told me at check-in that all trips should be arranged through- yes, you got it, through the Front desk! And what they do it reserve a vehicle and driver with a private company the hotel works with, for 4 times the price of a regular taxi. I used taxis a few times after that (the vehicles with the yellow roof), and didn't have any problems. So, it's the hotel that overcharges its guests with claims that all taxis in town are a scam. And yes, there is no direct phone for the housekeeping department, or for the restaurant, all calls should go through the Front desk, so expect that your call may not be answered on the first, or second try. The breakfast, although seemed plentiful and nice, is of a very low quality. The eggs were semi- raw, the quiche- a few days old. And so were all the pastries. The fruit consisted of a few chunks of what seemed like an old watermelon, wrapped in a small bowl. And at the end of each meal I was given a bill check to sign, even though breakfast was included in my room rate. What this meant was to urge the guests to give tip to the restaurant staff. My plans were to return for a few more days after I travel around Chile, but I cancelled my reservation and booked a different hotel. On the plus side, my room was large, the A/C worked well, beautiful

The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. Postscript: Having left Santiago to visit Atacama we returned to Santiago and had a night in an airport hotel before flying home. Rather than stay within the conf

Olhando as avaliações daqui fiquei um pouco receosa, mas tive uma excelente estrada, não tenho do que reclamar. Fiquei hospedada no Mr. Apart Providencia (na mesma entrada funciona o Mr Hotel e também o Mr Apart, cada um com uma proposta diferente). Os recepcionistas foram bem simpáticos e nos informaran que se tivéssemos passeios cedo, poderíamos avisar na recepção 1 dia antes que eles preparavam o café da manhã pra levar. O café da manhã era gostoso e tinha bastante variedade. O quarto tinha tudo o que precisávamos, tv, frigobar, secador de cabelo, aquecedor e uma mini cozinha com acessórios para cozinhar. A cama era confortável e tinha bastante edredom. A limpeza era feita diariamente. A localização era excelente, perto de restaurantes, do metrô e do shopping. Fizemos tudo a pé. Nada a reclamar.

Wir waren allein eine Nacht mit meiner Tochter, und es ist normalerweise ein Geschmack, dass wir uns von Zeit zu Zeit, die Pool, Frühstücksbuffet und ein Bild in der Nähe programmieren, das sehr große Zimmer der besten, die ich war, die Klimaanlage war nicht sehr stark, und in den öffentlichen Räumen, es war ein wenig Wärme, der Pool schön, aber man könnte mehr von ihm profitieren, weil unter anderem hat ein offenes Dach, gute Temperatur, Aber vielleicht ein wenig verlassen, das Frühstück ist gut, sorgfältig und schnell, alles sehr sauber, perfekte Lage. Nach einem wackeligen Start wurde es viel besser. Ich hatte ein Zimmer in der oberen Etage angefragt, aber wir bekamen ein Zimmer in der unteren Etage mit Blick auf eine Baustelle. Mein Accor-Status wurde nicht erkannt und ich musste nach unseren Begrüßungsgetränken fragen. Wir wurden dann in den 17. Stock mit wunderschönem Stadtblick verlegt. Der Rest des Empfangsteams, mit dem wir zu tun hatten, war sehr hilfsbereit. Sie arrangierten unseren Transfer nach Valpara und ermöglichten einen späten Check-out, was sehr geschätzt wurde. Wir genossen das Frühstücksbuffet, vor allem die Omeletts auf Bestellung. Dies ist ein sehr modernes, helles und luftiges Hotel in einer sehr guten Lage in Provendencia. Wir fanden viele schöne Restaurants und Bars in der näheren Umgebung.

Das Zimmer und das Hotel waren sehr sauber und das Viertel Providencia war eine großartige Unterkunft. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der U-Bahn, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und es fühlte sich sehr sicher an. Die Angestellten waren sehr hilfsbereit und das WiFi war unglaublich. Auch das Bett war super bequem. Im Zimmer gab es eine Klimaanlage, die alt und riesig und sehr laut war. Ich konnte die halbe Zeit nicht schlafen und das ist nicht das, was Sie von einem Hotel für 150 Dollar pro Nacht erwarten. Ich werde nie wieder zurückkehren.
