This was not our usual pick for Santiago but we had meetings nearby and took a chance. The suburb that Almasur resides in is a quirky and friendly neighbourhood with a charming plaza of restaurants, cafes and bars. There are a few private schools and colleges, the Main Street is cobbled and lined with Plane trees so it has an atmosphere rather like Paris!The hotel is brand new and perfect for business with large rooms. The cafe bar down stairs is great for working and meeting. I will be staying here again.

服務挺好的，就是看不懂西班牙文，到超市買東西很不方便，容易出錯！想去買鹽，結果買成了小蘇打，問了超市的人，一直給我拿的是小蘇打，回酒店打開，才發現不是鹽！

excellent attention from hotel staff! safe, very clean and comfortable rooms, delicious and broad selection for complimentary breakfast, wonderful water pressure and really good quality complimentary wifi. i was well taken care of as a solo female traveler and would definitely book with them again! i can't recommend them enough.

This is a gem of a hotel. The staff are lovely, the breakfast is very good and the rooms have great facilities. I stayed nearly 3 weeks and will be back for longer next year. highly recommend staying here for 1 - many nights. It’s in a great location. There’s laundry facilities if you need them - I’d come to Santiago from Patagonia (camping) so this was a great facility. You are only a 15-20 minute walk from the cable car / park entrance and it was easy to find great places to eat every night. It’s also only 20 minute stroll from the Costanera Tower where I highly recommend seeing the sunset.

The reception was very welcoming and checked us in as soon as the room available. The breakfast had a lot of options and was fresh every morning - diverse fruit, savoury and sweet options. It’s walking distance within the entrance of San Cristobal and close to the subway for all other attractions. The rooms looked newly renovated and just like the photos!

On our trip through chile we booked several hotels (4 and 5 stars). Often we were disappointed, especially by the bathrooms. The stay at the Almasur Hotel delighted us. The hotel and the rooms were very modern, the restaurant was great, the staff is attentive. The location of the hotel is great, you are close to attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. I would really recommend the hotel to everyone and would stay there again myself.

We were booked into this hotel as our plans for the Patagonian Lake District fell through due to poor weather. Having flown through the night we couldn’t have arrived at a more welcoming and comfortable hotel .The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent - great breakfast choices and equally good lunch. The bed is so comfortable and the shower super also. Great location despite everything being closed for Independence Day celebrations.
