We stayed at the iconic Le Sirenuse over Easter. This hotel is truly one of a kind. We stayed in a huge suite with interconnected rooms for our family of 4. It included 3 balconies with the most amazing views of the water. We had some issues with noise overnight (pipes) and also with the temperature. The a/c was off in the entire building and it was uncomfortably warm. We did not know this and kept trying to adjust the temperature in our rooms with a lot of frustration. We were up almost the entire first night of our stay. We discussed the issues with management and they advised that it was unseasonably warm that week which is why the A/C was not yet on in the hotel. They did put the a/c on in the building for the 2nd night of stay which made it much more comfortable. The mechanical noises were still present the 2nd night but not as loud as the first night (unless we had enough wine to block them out!). The management was very attentive and did provide a credit for the issues we had, which we appreciated. The pool area is serene! We spent Easter dinner at La Sponda and it was divine! The service was impeccable and the food was terrific. We were with our songs, ages 10 & 11, and the restaurant made accommodations for them with their entrees. Both boys said it was their best meal of our entire trip throughout Italy! We will definitely visit Le Sirenuse again when in Positano!

We had a lovely stay at Covo dei Saraceni - the staff was so helpful and our room was amazing, with a gorgeous water view. Our room was very large with a balcony which we enjoyed several times a day. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day and it was ample and delicious. We enjoyed the fresh juices, pastries, salad, meats and cheeses. One of our favorites was the carrot cake! We also ate in the dining room several times and again, terrific service, nice wine list and delicious food. Would highly recommend for a restful stay in Positano.

Spent 3 great nights here. The room was a bit small (no real complains though because it was a Hyatt award room, one of the last of them at that they left Hyatt soon after) but very clean and nice. The location is top notch, you are literally perched over all of Positano with incredible views. The shuttle service down to the town is easy and very good. The breakfast spread and ala carte ordering was great too. All the bartenders were good.. I enjoyed all of my dry martinis! But my favorite part was the service. All the staff were amazing. They arranged a driver to La Tagliata for us, they also arranged a driver back to Naples for us when our plans changed last minute. They were extremely friendly and accommodating - I wish I remembered everyone's names but thanks to Gianluca, Antonio, and Francesco! You definitely get what you pay for at Villa Franca, and I am more than pleased to give them my first 5 star rating.

Nur 5-Sterne-Hotel. Sehr schön, aber Sie müssen das Funicular überall nehmen. Buchen Sie dieses Hotel nicht, wenn Sie Schwierigkeiten haben zu Fuß zu gehen oder eine Tour zu gehen. Das Funicular funktionierte nicht zu der Zeit, als wir eine Ferry nach Capri hatten. Ich war gezwungen, den Wassertaxi zu nehmen und das Frühstück zu verpassen. Als ich zurückkam, sprach ich mit dem Manager auf dienstlicher Basis und bat mich, die Taxigebühr umzukehren und etwas über das verpasste Frühstück zu tun. Der Manager lehnte diese Anträge ab (sehr unprofessioneller, insbesondere für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel) und setzte sich mit mir an. Das ist, was ein 2-Sterne-Manager nicht 5-Sterne machen würde. In einem 5-Staat zahlt der Manager die $15 Euro-Gebühr und stellt für Frühstück mit einem gepflegten Abendessen auf. Sehr traurig, dass der Eigentümer (einen Anwalt) nicht auf seine Gäste Komfort aufmerksam macht.

I stayed here while in Positano for a friends wedding and loved it! The views were absolutely stunning from the rooms and the staff was always so kind and accommodating! I I interacted mostly with Elisa and Angelica and they were both so sweet and helpful! I even found myself needing to print some new placards for my friends wedding last minute and they helped me make it happen and it turned out so great. I had to change rooms and add rooms a few times as the group of people in my party increased and decreased throughout my trip. I stayed in a few rooms from the family junior suite, the junior suite, to the classic no view rooms and they were all great but I especially loved the rooms with a view and would definitely recommend a room with a view as it is absolutely breath taking and worth it. The view from the restaurant was also stunning and it is also where they host the daily breakfasts that are included. It was so relaxing starting each day having breakfast and coffee over those views. All staff that I interacted with were also so kind and helpful. I look forward to returning and recommending. Verloren für Worte wie erstaunlich war, die Ansicht ist erstaunlich. Beste Aussicht auf Positano (mit Ausnahme der Aussicht vom Wasser). Die Rezeptionisten und anderes Hotelpersonal waren die schönsten Italiener, die ich auf unserem Aufenthalt getroffen habe. Schöner Service. Der Wert für Geld ist fantastisch. Frühstück gut. Aircon war erstaunlich, nichts besser als im Sommer wieder ins Urzimmer zu kommen und es ist schön und kalt. Einzig die Frage ist, dass sie keinen Aufzug haben - aber das ist überall in Positano (sie sagten, sie versuchen, einen in). Holen Sie sich eines der kleinen Autos, die Ihnen Ur-Taschen nehmen, wenn Sie ankommen (Machen Sie nicht denselben Fehler, den wir gemacht haben, und versuchen Sie sie zu tragen). Sie halfen uns, unsere Taschen auf die Treppen zu tragen und sie in unsere Zimmer setzen, während wir inchecken. Das Hotel kann nicht hoch genug empfehlen.

Das Hotel Eden Roc glänzt durch mehrere Attribute und bietet einen entspannenden Urlaub (in unserem Fall fünf Tage). Nur schon der Empfang: Was für eine Freude, man fühlt sich gleich willkommen und auch das Check-In geht zügig und ohne grosse Administration. Selbstverständlich stehen genügend helfende Hände für das Gepäck bereit, das Auto wird unterdessen in der hoteleigenen Garage untergebracht. Das Top-Roof Restaurant bietet den romantisch-schönen Rahmen für ein wunderbares Abendessen (Astige Blu, ein Gedicht). Das gesamte Team, ohne Ausnahme, von der Rezeption über den ”Gardisten”, die Zimmermädchen, die Bewirtung an der Sky-Bar oder im hochgelegene Restaurant ist schlicht hervorragend und von ausserorentlicher Herzlichkeit geprägt. Der Weinkeller ist gut gefüllt und man sollte auf die Erläuterungen des Sommeliers unbedingt hören; er empfiehlt hervorragende lokale Weine. Das ganze Hotel ist in einem wunderbaren Zustand, sauber, nirgends ein Flecklein zu sehen. Unser Zimmer (eine Junior-Suite mit Balkon war ein Traum und lud ein zum Verweilen bei Franciacorta und Oliven. Rundum ein Genuss und abslout empfehlenswert.

This was my fifth visit to Positano and the Amalfi coast in forty years I first visited in 1980. To be honest very little has changed during the summer season accommodation is in short supply. The hotels though charming with wonderful terraces and lovely attentive staff are not the most comfortable in terms of sleep quality ( hard mattresses and pillows) and bathrooms with dodgy plumbing and electrics are the norm. Accommodation is limited and prices are high. The Poseidon is a typical amalfi coast hotel we paid in excess of £2000 per night so in excess of $2500US for room 16 anywhere else in the world this would have be considered excessive for a four star hotel as described within the parameters above but this the Amalfi coast at the end of May so I am afraid is fairly typical. Both the room we stayed in and the main terrace where the small pool bar and restaurant were did have an amazing view across the bay and the staff were very charming and the bar scene was delightful. I am loathe to write anything negative but feel very strongly about the bathroom situation they have a separate bath and shower but the bath/ shower dispenser gel is glued to the wall in order to get the product out of the dispenser into the bath you to have to squirt it out onto the wall tiles and then use the hand held shower attachment to literally wash it of the walls into the bath. Note to the owners anybody who can afford to pay in excess of £2000 a night is not interested in stealing super expensive toiletries let alone the very basic toiletries you provide and if you are going to go the trouble of gluing products to walls at the very least you should make sure that the nozzles are directed into the bath/ in a way that people can use them.
