Beautiful property right on Praia da Rocha. Excellent service at check-in, was given a quick tour of the lobby and room by a wonderful gentleman. Beautiful and tidy room, stunning view from balcony, though the small bathroom window opens into the corridor and at times there is an unpleasant odour from a pipe in the toilet. Breakfast was adequate and delicious, staff were helpful and nice. Overall a great place to stay!

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel da Rocha hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, gutes Buffet und das Zimmer mit Meerblick war sehr geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Auch die Lage direkt am Strand ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen an der Küste oder Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Leider war es nachts manchmal etwas laut durch die vielen Bars und Restaurants in der Straße direkt neben dem Hotel. Dennoch haben wir uns während der 2 Wochen hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

… alle Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen - zum Abendessen hat man diverse Auswahlmöglichkeiten, die Ausstattung entspricht einem 4 Sterne Haus, der Wellnessbereich genau wie der Pool mit Bar auf dem Dach ist top … egal was, ich kann nur positives sagen … 👍

Als Alleinstehende Person ist man einwenig verloren, es währe Nett hätte es einen Aufenthaltsraum wo man Spiele, Lesen oder einfach schwatzen oder andere Personen treffen könnte.. Aussenrestaurant öffnete spät. es hätte mich gefreut wenn ich einfach dort hätte sitzen und etwas trinken können.

First off, the accommodation, pool and the proximity to the beach are all great. The rooms are really big. We had a two bed apartment for two adults and two teenagers, there was plenty of space for us all. The balcony’s are huge, and also come with four loungers and six chairs, so perfect for catching the evening sun with a drink. We did have a leak in the bathroom which we raised with reception, which was not fixed. It didn’t cause too much problem, just annoying to get wet feet when walking by as it leaked into the bedroom. The biggest shame was the service and quality of food at breakfast. It was provided by “My Guest” so we assume it was outsourced. The young woman Rosa out the front was really unfriendly, didn’t want to engage and made us feel unwelcome. The food in the hot buffet was lukewarm at best, so not great for food hygiene. The only things that changed in the six days we were there was the fresh fruit and the cake, so it got a bit repetitive as well. Despite this we would still return, we would just do it as self catering as the breakfast definitely wasn’t worth it.

Es war ein Glücksgriff. Das Jupiter Algarve Hotel ist ein absolutes Spitzenhotel im 4-Sterne-Bereich besticht schon durch seine tolle Lage zum Strand von Praia da Rocha. Der Panoramablick von der 7.Etage ist toll. Das Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet sind hervorragend, es wird ein vielfältiges Angebot präsentiert, wo jeder Gast etwas nach seinem Geschmack finden sollte. Die Küchencrew und der Service im Restaurant sind hochprofessionell, dabei immer freundlich und für einen Scherz zu aufgelegt. Wir sind schon in etlichen guten 5-Sterne-Hotels gewesen und können vergleichen. Das Restaurant spielt da ganz weit vorne mit. In den drei Wochen wurde jeden Abend so variiert, das kaum Wiederholung wahrnehmbar war. Der überdachte, beheizte Außenpool ist im Winter einfach Klasse. Das Housekeeping (Sandra) arbeitet perfekt und die Sauberkeit im ganzen Haus ist tadellos. Nur eins hat nicht geklappt: mein Windows10-Netbook hat sich im WLAN nicht angemeldet. Arrived Friday midday, pleasant and helpful reception staff, easy check in and hotel looked recently renovated with well presented and modern lobby. We unpacked into a large two bed apartment, three flatscreens and sofa, large fridge freezer and all accessories required for comfortable self catering. We spent a nice afternoon at a quiet pool among other families and couples (pool is freezing cold). This is where the good news ended. Around 5pm two coach loads of students descended onto the hotel with shopping carts (actual shopping carts) loaded with speakers and party signs. Our stomachs sank as did our 7yr olds, intimidated by rowdy youths in the elevator. I enquired at the front desk as to the situation and was met with the news that the party had booked almost the entire hotel out of rooms. The Flor Da Rocha sells the rooms as part of a student party package at various times throughout the year, see screen grab. The sequence of events is as follows; two coaches arrive mid afternoon, the lobby and swimming pool both flood with loud students and then the speakers appear on the balcony’s facing the pool area blasting music. Short lull when they dissipate to the supermarket for alcohol then from 9pm (when the families are settling the children) the noise begins again with shouting / singing / Macarena etc etc. people hanging over balcony’s with guitars, clapping and jeering. No intervention from hotel staff whatsoever. It comes as no surprise the in room telephone also doesn’t work when trying to contact reception. The fact Jet2 are marketing this hotel as a family friendly holiday is ridiculous. No sleep for a family of four for the first two nights of a seven night holiday. We selected Praia Da Rocha as a family friendly alternative to the usual stag and hen locations, what possesses the place to host a two day student bender is beyond me. Unfortunately, this is the second time Jet2 have let us down and we should’ve known better than to travel with them again. The rest of the week was fine although the students continue to come and go, fortunately for us the rest seemed to be athletes / youth groups rather than organised party goers. Given time and money has been spent to update the hotel it’s a real shame they choose to recoup this at the detriment to family and couple guests in an otherwise quiet resort.

Das Oceano Atlantico Hotel befindet sich in der ziemlich malerischen Praia da Rocha-Gebiet von Algarve. Es ist in der Nähe von der Strandpromenade (Es dauert ca. 15-20 Minuten zu einem freien Geschwindigkeitszug, um dort zu kommen) und es gibt auch einen Lidl-Shop in der Nähe. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es eine Reihe von Fußballplätze und Pools, so dass es wahrscheinlich die Erwartungen von Menschen, die Sport-Buffs sind erfüllen. Bei der Eincheckung gab es keine Probleme, und die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und aufmerksam, wobei jeder in Englisch gesprochen hat. Die Zimmer, die sich an Mini-Apartments annähern, sind ziemlich geräumig und alle notwendigen Einrichtungen, einschließlich Handtücher, Shampoo, Seife usw., finden. Es gab eine sehr breite Auswahl an Fernsehkanälen und das Wi-Fi war schnell und zuverlässig. Ich genossen die Qualität der Lebensmittel (die Variante war auch gut, aber es gab nicht so viele Konditoridesserts) und schätzte, dass das Abendessen Buffet-Stil war, was meine Vorliebe tendierte. Einige der Mahlzeiten schienen ganz deutlich Portugiesisch. Dieses Hotel (wenn auch nicht unbedingt so luxuriös wie einige von Lissabon) wird wahrscheinlich viele verschiedene Reisende ansprechen. Ich werde sicherlich gerne zurückkehren!

Vitors Plaza... was kann ich sagen, wir hatten die wunderschönste Zeit in diesem Hotel und den umliegenden Gebieten wie Alvor Dorf, Praia da rocha! Slip und slide die Bootsausflug! Alles über das Hotel mit vielen hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern auf der Hand reserviert! Der Bus war absolut brillant und immer zu Zeit! Das Essen war wunderschön das Personal war so hilfreich, egal was Sie fragten, sie waren so freundlich und willkommen. Die Zimmer sind spotless! Reinigen kommen jeden Tag! Das Hotel selbst ist spotless! Der Pool war so viel Spaß in und draußen. Wir hatten die wunderschönste Zeit und schon suchten nach Buch, um nächstes Jahr zurückzukommen! Danke für das erstaunliche und willkommene sein! Wir verpassen es bereits!

The hotel is again great, nice rooms, friendly helpful staff. Maintenance is still lacking a bit, although some progress was made. Due to lack of rain/water the golf course is dry and golf is played on the roots of the grass. Last year october it was green with large dry patches, this year it is just dry except for the greens. Looks like the effect of climate change is increasing and next year October we will not come again under these conditions.
