We didn’t intend to stay as long as we did at Nasama - blame the Air Vanuatu fiasco - but we are glad we did. You couldn’t ask for a better base to explore Port-Vila and Efate, but if you wanted to stay put, the pools and the beach along with two excellent restaurants meant the stay would be wonderful. We stayed in four different rooms as result of the airline collapse and have to pay credit to the friendly, caring and helpful front desk, housekeeping and restaurant teams for looking after us . We even got discounted rates once the airline cancelled flights. Probably the best hotel breakfast menu we have ever experienced, happy hours in both restaurants and lunch and dinner menu we couldn’t fault. Try the local ni-Vanuatu speciality, bunya. If you want self cater, the suites are well provisioned and there is a store across the road or for more variety the Au Bon Marche supermarket is a 150-Vatu ten minute minibus ride away. Nasama isn’t perfect - one room had seen better days and the wifi wasn’t perfect everywhere, but would totally recommend for a great Vanuatu holiday experience.
