Einfach Paradores! Immer gut.
Nette Bar, sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick. Direkt am Rande der Altstadt.

Parador de Pontevedra is nicely positioned on the coast. It is of the usual high quality standard with excellent restaurant facilities and very helpful and friendly staff. The only downside is that general client parking is not on site. This does apply to Blue Badge holders but in reality, it is not surprising seeing as this is a Parador of great age in a superb setting. Thank you for a memorable stay.

We had a fabulous stay at this Parador. Stunning building, great large bedroom and very comfy beds. Breakfast was perfect for our needs and good to see delicious fruit on offer. Located in the historic centre near plenty of restaurants and perfect for hitting the Camino the next day.

An incredible lodging experience, beautiful room and service impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff was very helpful . The beds were comfortable and the room was very large especially for European standards.we will return.

Loved this amazing old castle type building, tucked away in the corner of the city in the clean historic region ..much of Pontevedra we walked through was zombie and sketch, not clean.. but once we got to the neighborhood of this hotel..it was the most charming and old part . We did laundry around the corner at aqua y Jabon..super easy.. as the hotel laundry folks don’t work Sundays..bummer as we like to send our things out. Oh well. It rained so we took Care of it.had a lovely hot breakfast at the hotel and wandered the darling old town. There are bridges and churches of course..but we liked the small neighborhood and the grand hotel! Thank you so much

Staying at a remodeled 16th century palace by the heart of a medieval town. What beats that? The place exudes old world charm, the setting, gardens, furniture and art. Super attentive service from the moment you arrive. Immaculate clean rooms and comfortable bedding and towels. The restaurant is top notch. The property doesn't have parking but you can reach it with your car, they give you all the time you need to unload your luggage and there is a convenient parking five minutes walk away. Highly recommended.

The hotel is a lovely old Spanish style building. My room was clean and the bed comfortable after walking 14 miles on this particular day of the Camino. The downside? The NOISE! Every time someone flushed a toilet or turned on the water it was so loud it woke me numerous times. The walls are thin and I could hear a big party down in the bar. I understand that this is a very old building however, better care could have been taken in the updating and more insulation is desperately needed.

A charming blend of old world meets current day amenities! Plush towels with a variety of travel size treats--soap, shampoo/conditioner/lotion--even a rare box of tissues! Soft linens with a non-squeaky bed---hard to find it seems. All in an old world room of wood and stone(small but set up efficiently) with great full length windows to a small but appreciated balcony--lovely for morning and evening bevs of your choice! And a mini-frig to boot. Charging stations by each side of bed--each with it's own night stand was a nice find as well. I cannot think of one thing this stay lacked. Hope to return or try another Parador....or both!
