Free drinks everywhere! I want to start of with the staff because they were super friendly and funny. There were many restaurants to choose from with our all inclusive pass. The location was not the best for us because we wanted to explore playa del Carmen on a walk it that was not possible with out the help of a taxi or renting a car.

The resort is pretty and there are a lot of activities. The beach is beautiful, just be sure to bring water shoes there are some rocky areas.
There are a decent number of dining options, however the food wasn't great. The food presentation was excellent, but was lacking in quality generally speaking. Take advantage of making reservations on the app or going to the restaurants to guarantee you will be able to get a seat.
Our junior suit at El Beso was a decent room, could be improved by the inclusion of extra blankets and mini bar snacks (drinks only).

We were looking for an adults only Cancun all inclusive vacation and this El Beso Resort did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, fun and outgoing. The 11 Restaurants were excellent while our favorites were the Steak House and the La Locanda Italian restaurant. Our favorite activity was the adult El Beso Pool which had a ton of activity’s and excellent music. Also the drinks were Not watered down like other all inclusive resorts we have been on in the past. The only negative was we did not take advantage of our Junior Swim up pool as the water temp was too cool as it was in the shade most of the time. Overall our experience was a 10 / 10 and we will definitely be coming back again soon.

The room was very clean and looked amazing. The resort itself was larger than I thought and had a shuttle bus that would ruin from end to end but was still very walkable.
We loved the wildlife around the resort, we read that there were monkeys but had no idea how easy it was to find them and other resorts claim the same thing but I've never seen them.
Our favorite restaurant was the Japanese, the food and the show was excellent. We lucked out with an invitation to the chefs table for a special dinner and it was by far the best meal I've ever had at a resort. The only feedback that I would have on the chefs table would be to let people know that it's on a rooftop and could be windy or cool for dinner.
I would highly recommend Ocean Riviera and would definitely go back.

All amenities as advertised. Good selection of foods. Easy walk from one end of property (lobby/restsursnts/theatre) to the other end (beach/restaursnts). Typical / average theatre performances, lots of pool activities. Plenty of pool side and beach chairs but, as usual, have to go early enough to reserve a chair. All staff were great, did not have one bad interaction. Tons of wild animals to watch — monkeys, coatis, birds

The staff and accommodations were outstanding! We had a junior suite and it was perfect -great view of the pool and a whirlpool tub. Very safe! Many wonderful amenities on site - coffee shop and ice cream parlor (included). FABULOUS entertainment, day and night. Didn’t love the beach. Smaller area and kind of dirty. However there will plenty of great, clean pools. Great experience.

Nice resort. Large so be prepared to walk. We did El Beso. Which was just the non children building and pools. But you will hear and see kids all other time.
