Savoy Hotel

Only 1 night before we catch the Ferry to Naxos...lovely warm welcome ,lovely room,very clean, City centre Hotel so no view to talk off but that was expected. Great start to the Holiday.. oh yes Bed fantastic. Thanks for the compliment wine and fruit..

We chose to stay at Savoy since i havent visited it for a long time and i wanted to see the renovation. Its building is one of the oldest hotel in Pireaus and as a hotel is something like a legacy. Reception was very helpful to all my request proving once more that is the fort of the hotel. The living room of the reception it was really outstanding. Enough space to sit and enjoy a coffee or a drink and still feel like you are in your own living room. Our room was with the sea view and we spent most of our time trying to catch a good photo of the sea gulls.that were flying all over, well this is something common in Pireaus. Bed was just excellent something that is not often in a hotel. Last time i had such a good sleep was in Kavala. We had a delicious lunch in our room since we were too excausted to go to the hotels restaurant (next time my friends) and coffee at the lounge with family members. For those that will have more time, there so many things to do around but the most important take a walk around Pasalimani and Marina Zea. Breakfast buffett was rich and with many choises. Even if you are a just coffee person in the morning you would not be able to resist and have a taste. Hotels are not only a fabulus room, an excellent breakfast buffet or the view. Hotels in many cases has to do with people. I am thankfull for the hospitality of Nick Nickoloudakis and the rest of the stuff. I am very sorry that i dont remember the name of the helpfull waitress that was really like a sunshine in the room. Thank you for making my stay in Pireaus a glamurus memory!

Excellent stay for one night pre-cruise. Nice warm welcome, the hotel was spotlessly clean but a little dated. Dinner in the restaurant was good and the service again was warm and friendly. Breakfast was very good too and a real bonus. Special mention to Demetrios for finding my reading glasses and arranging our taxis the following morning. Would definitely recommend.

Great location near marina and beaches, wonderful Piraeus Museum, and metro to famous central spots. Lovely helpful staff. Nice food.

We only booked this hotel so that we could take the ferry boat to Sifnos very early the next morning. It was presented on the internet as 'stylish and class', but that is disappointing. It is located on one of the busiest streets in Pireaus, so you also get a lot of street noise at night. Result: poor night's sleep. The reception was friendly, but that was it. You can park as requested...at the back in a very dark street and when you can loosen the chain after a whole procedure. Not feeling safe. You then have to drag your luggage through bumpy streets to the entrance... Parking in front of the door is hardly possible due to crowds. The elevator to the 6th floor(!) was very tight and sweltering. And that was also the room for which you easily paid € 109. Small, musty and a lot of noise on the street side. In addition, the air conditioning was also noisy. we hardly slept. The evening meal took place in a room that resembled a kind of separation room of a crematorium. Creepy! Because we had to leave early in the morning, we could not have breakfast, but they said '...We will provide a breakfast box...' It contained 1 hard-boiled egg, 1 plum, 2 pre-packed rusks, 2 jams, and plastic cutlery. You had to take coffee separately. A disgrace. Together with dinner we paid € 145 for a 'horrible overnight stay'. There must certainly be nicer hotels in this very busy and preferably avoidable city. Take another ferry in Pireaus? I do not think so!

We went there for dinner at their restaurant. When we went there, I have had no appetite whatsoever for 5 days since we arrived Greece. Here, I found something familiar that is not soulvlaki. Amazing service. Menu mostly consist of South East Asian food.
