Nastro Azzurro Resort

The hotel was very secluded with nothing nearby. However, there was a shuttle bus every day to Sorrento. But Sorrento was extremely humid. The Tui staff were always on hand, and I loved the water sports from Marcus, the gym instructor. He made it so much fun. The hotel was a bit dated, but I must say it was spotless. Our room was small, and sadly, we looked out to a yard. We asked to move but it was 45 euros per day extra. Considering how much we had already paid for the holiday we declined. The reception staff were very helpful. I liked the fact they had flags on their badges to not only show their name but the languages they spoke. Lovely touch. The entertainment wasn't good. I'm disappointed, to be honest. Drink prices were also OK. Never felt pushed to order wine as mentioned with other customers. Spa area well we couldn't find the door to get into it. We didn't bother asking so maybe our fault it wasn't obvious at all. 5* for the food. Enzo and his team were amazing. The food was probably the best I have had in a hotel. The selection was first class all taste buds were covered and more. I liked the fact they were very hot on allergies and specific dietary needs. The pools, jacuzzies and lounges were clean, and you could always get a bed. The lifeguard was so helpful and tried his best to help you with anything you required. He was also so friendly. We decided against using TUI for trips. Instead, we used GET YOUR GUIDE; it was much cheaper, but look out for pick-ups from the hotels. Otherwise, you have to meet at the harbour. They were very organised and amusing guides on hand. Overall, we had a lovely time and met some lovely people. Shout out to Enzo, Marcus and the inside waiters and bartenders. Tips: use the Get My Guide app. Go to the foreigners club in Sorrento. Bring a dark cool bottle and buy your water in Sorrento and keep it in the fridge and refill instead of buying it in the hotel.

Where to start! From the minute we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth from all the staff. Prosecco on arrival and bags hand delivered to our rooms. Good food to nibble on before being shown around the hotel and escorted to a fabulous lunch by the pool. All the staff were so friend and attentive. Our room was lovely, with a large balcony enjoying stunning sea views. Double shower which was lovely to relax :) shuttle bus was very convenient and helpful. Evening dining was amazing especially the A La Carte evenings. The entertainment was fabulous and was almost enough to not have to ever leave the hotel, but we wanted to go and explore Sorrento for a few evenings of our 10 day stay. I had a spa treatment whilst I was there which was very enjoyable. Special shout out to the Amazing Enzo, Super Mario, Sabatino and all the other incredible staff members. We would happily return and it made our 6 year anniversary very special! 10/10 service and can’t recommend highly enough!

If you’re looking for a peaceful holiday in a remote hillside when the only access to Sorrento is by shuttle or taxi, then this is the place for you, We stayed in a lovely room in the annexe and according to other guests, was nicer than some hotel rooms. There are a few steps to climb to the annexe (as shown), be aware if you have mobility problems. Room cleaned daily with tea/coffee provision. The pool area was next to the annexe and sun beds were plentiful. Towels available and bar for drinks. It was at the pool rester aunt that you also had your lunch. Breakfast and Dinner in dining room at hotel. There’s a shuttle bus that goes into Sorrento several times a day, which is essential when staying here. Takes about 15 mins and in the evening charges €2 per person, per journey. The food was plenty and obvs with an Italian flavour - so lots of salads, vegetables and pasta! Our only complaint was that the sunset bar above the annexe was closed the whole time we were there. This is an ideal venue for having a drink/snack and has the best views of the ocean. The poster attached was up every day even when in glorious sunshine :(

The worst Tui Blue I have ever stayed at Room disgusting, mouldy fridge, air con unit dusty and mouldy and shower room an absolute disgrace Offered 3 rooms in total and would not go back Staff very friendly and food is very good Sadly the dated rooms let this hotel down Complained to Tui rep and didn’t get good service. When back home complained to Tui with evidence of photos to prove how bad it was and will say I will not go with Tui again Over all a bad experience

We are on the last day of our week long holiday and can honestly say that we find the hotel quite charming. We have loved the food and ambience in the dining room, have loved being waited on some evenings and, enjoyed the delicious food . Our room I think, having see in other rooms when being cleaned, is probably fairly small but has been absolutely big enough and very well appointed! It has been cleaned to a high standard with plenty of towel and linen changes. The delivery of our cases on arrival to our room and food provided on our late arrival we’re both much appreciated. The shuttle bus was great, as was Sophia and her team of Tui reps. The shower tiles needed regrouping and looked shabby, but that is the only fault I could find, and paled into insignificance when you look at all the positives! We would return in a heartbeat.

Another fantastic holiday at Nastro Azzurro. A beautiful hotel set in beautiful ground. We received the usual warm welcome from the staff and were delighted to see many of the staff still working there from our last visit in August 2019. The rooms were great, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is simply excellent, as is the poolside restaurant for lunch. The service provided by the excellent assistant Maitre ds, Vincenzo and Antonino, or Enzo and Toni as they're affectionately known, was of the highest class with excellent advice with the food and wines. Their service could not have been better and the whole restaurant runs like a swiss watch under their stewardship. We were served at our table by a wonderful lady named Giusy who looked after us wonderfully. The manager, Masimo, is a fabulous chap with a real "hands on" and "lead from the front" approach. This quality and inspirational leadership has led to a team around him that respect and adore him and are fully committed to ensureing the guests have a wonderful time. A final mention should go to the best barman on the Neapolitan Riviera, Mario, or "Super Mario" as he's known. A lovely chap with a warm welcoming smile and great service. He tended to run the terrace of an evening and had it running as smooth as silk. There was great entertainment every night focussing on live music with some light hearted quizing thrown in for good measure. Frankly, we can't wait to go back again. Heartlily recommended.

We had a fabulous time, with nice clean rooms. There were very kind, friendly & helpful staff throughout the resort. The aquafit was great fun, the food was plentiful and varied and nothing was too much trouble for the catering & waiting staff. Everyone was accommodating & helpful to my husband who was using a stick, bringing his meals to the table and helping whenever they could. Big shout out to Enzo and the team! Although the resort is in a slightly more remote location, it suited us perfectly. If you wanted entertainment & activities, they werr there. The shuttle bus to Sorrento town-centre was greatly appreciated and free, and it tied nicely into the trains if you wanted to organise your own trips to Herculaneum or Pompei. Drinks cost extra, so do budget for that. Otherwise we had a fab time! Thanks to the entire team!

Please don't read the negative views. Yes the hotel is remote but the exceptional service, shuttle bus and views more than make up for it. The welcome on arrival was second to none and the professionalism from staff continued throughout our stay. The views from every place in the hotel are spectacular and food was plentiful and delicious. We had a room in the main building looking out to the front and it was spacious and modern. I had read the reviews about prices for drinks so we took water bottles which we filled in the room. Drinks are a cheaper than a night out in a British city, 5 euros glass of prosecco and 6 euros pint perroni. The best thing was no fighting for sunbeds even at 2pm! Atmosphere around the pool was relaxing and fab. We will definitely return.
