For me, the location of the hotel is ideal - a quiet street is a residential neighborhood close to attractions and public transport. The room was prettily decorated and fairly big, clean. The price was amazing given the location. The room was nice, pretty big. Shower / bathroom was good and there's good storage space for the luggage. There is a small fridge, safe, hot water pot and coffee machine in the room (with Nespresso). The wifi worked well in my room. There was no internal or external noise, except when the sirens goes by. There's parking at the hotel but I saw parking in the street as well. The hotel is a short walk from most of the sights (10-15 minutes) - Museum Is, Alexanderplatz, Berlin Wall Memorial, and a long walk / short ride to the central train station, Brandeburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz. It's pretty easy to get to the airport by train, the S9 stops at Friedrichstrasse and you can take a one-stop ride on the U to Oraineburger Tor. That's the closest transit hub to the hotel I think. It's a long 2.5 blocks walk from there. The tram there will take you to Central Station or Alexanderplatz. There are many restaurants and breakfast places nearby. I really liked the falafel place downstairs; it's usually busy so that's always a good sign (it's fairly inexpensive). There is a supermarket across the street. You don't really see the staff often but what little interaction I had with them, it was positive. The woman that checked me in was super nice. Check-in / check-out was painless. I wish they would let you use the coffee machine in the lobby.
