Very unimpressed with the hotel from the get go. The phone number on google and through Agoda doesn’t work so couldn’t contact the hotel. Lots of other hotels were collecting their guests baggage at the port on trolleys but as we didn’t get that and had to walk through the town in the heat for what would normally be a 15 min walk but with crowded streets and the heat it took 20/25 mins. The office location on Google Maps is wrong, took us climbing up a hill unnecessarily just to go back down and have to ask a local for directions. The reception was no where to be seen when we got there, and once she finally showed up we got very little information, just a vague gesture to where the restaurant and pool were. The walk to the room was up lots of steep steps, we were sweating by the time we got to the room only to find it was like a sauna as the air con was not on and took forever to cool the room down. We stay 2 nights but spent very little time in the hotel. Breakfast was average. When running the tap you had a small of sewage. We had requested and paid 200 baht for our 3 luggage bags to be taken to the pier in one of their trolleys for 10am as our ferry was leaving at 10.30. We left a bit earlier to walk around the town so was trusting they would be there to meet us on time. They were over 20 minutes late (for a 10 to 15 min walk to the pier) meaning we had a big panic about missing our boat. We couldn’t contact them (due to them not having correct phone number online), and they didn’t contact us even though we gave them our phone number that morning in case of a situation like this. I had to run towards the hotel and luckily saw him half way down and asked him to run to the port as our boat was leaving in 5 mins. Overall very unhappy with the stay. Definitely not worth the £40 per night and added so much stress as we were leaving. Find somewhere else more trustworthy and helpful!
