Wir sind bei 2.30am in Perth angekommen und haben einen Taxi direkt vom Flughafen. Da es Mitte der Nacht war, mussten wir einen Buzzer drücken und warten, dass jemand mit uns durch den Sprecher sprechen kann, obwohl sie entweder schliefen oder nicht gestört werden konnten, so drückte der Buzzer lange, Schließlich kam jemand über den Sprecher, der verzerrt wurde, und sie sagten mir, dass ich meinen Finger auf dem Buzz verließ, sie ließen uns rein und wieder begann er uns zu erzählen über den Buzz, wir ignorierten ihn völlig, indem er unseren Namen und wie viele Nächte wir angegeben haben Ich glaube, er hat endlich die Idee, uns einen Schlüssel und Gutscheine gegeben, um unser Frühstück zu bekommen. Wir gingen gerade zum Bett und sahen das Zimmer am Morgen. Sicherlich brauchte er dekorieren, das Bett scheint etwas nach unten gehen Kopf, da wir fühlten unsere Füße höher als unsere Kopf, die Kissen waren flach, wir hatten eine Blätter dann eine Duvet, die bessere Tage gesehen wurde und brauchte eine neue und dann eine oberen Blätter. Das Badezimmer war grundlegend, hatte eine Dusche, obwohl es einige seltsame Nasen gemacht und die Temperatur war hoch und runter, keine Schlauch im Handbecken, es gab Toiletten, die wir nie verwendet. Das Frühstück war sehr grundlegende, nur einige kalte Fleisch, kalte kochte Eier, Salat und Toast. Wenn Sie kochen wollten, mussten Sie mit Croissants, Schmerz au raisin usw. bezahlen. Rezeption Mitarbeiter während des Tages waren angenehmen und sehr hilfreich, hatte immer ein Lächeln. Das Hotel ist in der Nähe des Freibus-Services, der Katzenservice genannt wird, der Sie jederzeit auf und aus fahren können. Wir würden nochmals - Nein - es gibt viele Hotels in Perth.

Good value for its price level. Basic room, clean enough despite being rather dated (still using the traditional key with that big plastic attachment). Check-in staff, breakfast & location also good. A few stops on the free Red CAT from Perth Stn to the block behind. A block away is the wonderful vast expanse of Langley Park with the Swan River at the side.

Lots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

Der einzige negative Aspekt ist, dass das Hotel keine Parkplätze hat und nicht an der Straße parken kann. Obwohl die Sicherheit am Tag schwer gewährleistet ist und teuer ist.

Ich hatte einen schönen Aufenthalt im Local Hotel. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und untergebracht. Wir hatten die Pläne, eine Nacht auf Rottnest Island zu verbringen, bevor wir zwei Nächte im Hotel anreisen, und sie erlaubten uns freundlich, unser Gepäck einen Tag früh zu lagern. Es war so ein großer Gefallen und machte unsere Reise viel bequemer. Als wir ankamen, war unser Gepäck bereits in unserem Zimmer, was ein schöner Kontakt war. Das Zimmer selbst war stilvoll und modern. Wir haben für ein Eckeszimmer gewählt, das drei große Fenster hatte, füllte den Raum mit natürlichem Licht. Das Licht im Zimmer war auch gut gemacht, schuf ein angenehmes Ambiente. Obwohl die Toilette und das Badezimmer geteilt wurden und es etwas Lärm aus der Musik der Bar gab, war die Gesamterfahrung angenehm. Diese kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten wurden durch die positiven Aspekte unseres Aufenthalts überschattet. Im Allgemeinen denke ich, das Local Hotel ist ein schöner Ort zu bleiben. Wir hatten eine schöne Erfahrung.

Stayed here for 3 nights, arriving after long flight from UK. No problem checking in, room in quiet location as requested. Some construction work going on at back of hotel, but nothing that disturbed me in the evening. Room was clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. Corridor and room carpets could do with replacing, but I guess that is a big expense after the last few years. Breakfast was more than adequate, with plenty of choice. The hot buffet was all fresh and frequently replenished. The young man in the restaurant (sorry I don't know your name), was very helpful and polite. Reception were helpful in booking a very early morning airport taxi for me, and on the morning of departure made certain that I safely got into my taxi. As a solo female traveller, it's the little details like that that mean so much. I would definitely return if i was visiting Perth again

We upgraded to an executive room, which was very comfortable. We could not get near enough to the hotel on arrival to park and check in. There is a small very narrow lane way that runs from Wellington St to Murray St with no indication of which way the traffic flows. We parked up eventually on Murray St in a multi storey and fortunately our one suit case was easily wheeled the 100 metres or so to the hotel. The hotel info was all available on the room tv screen. I checked breakfast times and saw it was served up to 10-30 am on a weekend. Next morning we arrived at breakfast at 9-45 am. The waiter looked somewhat taken aback. There was only enough orange juice for 1 person, the tank on the tea maker was dry, there was no butter or bacon. The water tank was refilled, butter produced. The chef lifted the lid of the scrambled eggs and they looked disgusting. I asked the waiter if we could have a fried egg. He had to go find the chef. He cooked the eggs, burnt on the bottom runny white on the top. My breakfast at a cost of $30 consisted of one slice of toast 3 mushrooms, half a scoop of congealed baked beans and half of a very sad looking tomato, plus the delicious burnt egg, one cup of black tea. I heard the waiter and chef grumbling together about breakfast times and their attitude prevented me from complaining and asking for fresh food. It transpired that breakfast time had been changed to finish at 10am. The receptionist enlightened me as we checked out next day. There was still a sign on reception saying that breakfast on a weekend lasted until 10 -30am. Needless to say we breakfasted elsewhere next day. It's a soul less hotel, with about as much vibe as a grave yard. We used the fantastic bar of the new Novotel directly behind Rydges. I also found we could have stayed there at a cheaper rate! Will not be returning.

Wir haben eine Einheit, die kein Fenster sagt und da es keine anderen Orte mit einem anständigen Preis gibt und das ist die einzige, die anständig bezahlt scheint, wir haben für eine Nacht versucht und wir waren sehr überrascht über das Ergebnis. Es ist schön und auch ohne Fenster ist es weitgehend eines der saubersten und schönsten Hotels, das wir bisher verblieben haben. Es ist direkt neben dem Park und zerkleinert in einem Eck, aber das störte uns nicht. Wir lieben es eigentlich. Es ist auch im Boden, so dass wir nicht auf Treppen oder auf Aufzug warten mussten. Die Eincheckung war sauber mit automatischer Eincheckung. Die Ausstattung ist groß. Entfernung war ein wenig von der Station entfernt, aber es ist eine gute Übung und Spaziergang!

Die Wohnung ist großartig! Sehr sauber und alles funktioniert in guter Zustand. Sie haben die Küchenfläche, mit Werkzeugen, Kisten und Pannen ausgestattet. Mini Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Vergessen Sie nicht, sie bieten 2 Packungen mit Detergenzien für unseren 2-Nacht- Aufenthalt. Allerdings wird es uns erfordern, unseren Balkon zu öffnen, um zu verhindern, dass der Rauchalarm ausgelöst wird. Nur einen Briseweg zum Stadtzentrum. Parkplatz mit Buchung im Konzern.
