It had already been a long day of travel, but I was excited to get to my room to drop off my bags and go explore Panama a little. We were only there for less than 24 hours so time was super valuable. Upon entering the hotel, it seemed a little dated, dirty, and worn. The location was extremely convenient since it was so close to the airport ($8-9 Uber black ride, $4-5 Uber X) and we would be there just to rest our head before our 9am flight. After waiting for 25 minutes for the two people in front of me to be checked in (only one desk person), I handed my passport and credit card over and I was promptly informed that I did not have a reservation. Instantly I looked on my Bonvoy app to confirm I did in fact have a reservation, but that was not enough for him. Even though I gave him the confirmation number and showed him the reservation for a two bed room. I had to go through my emails to find the confirmation email with room rate. I even checked in via the app to try to expedite the process and showed him I was now checked-in. Finally after about 30 minutes he gave me a room, while a nice line of 5 or 6 pilots and flight attendants waiting to check-in mounded behind me. I apologized to them while departing to my room, the desk guy did appear to care they were waiting. I was traveling with my elderly mother, so I just wanted to get her to the room so she could relax for a minute. After opening the door, guess what I was in a single king bed room, definitely not what I booked. I left my mom at the door so we did not have to lug our bags downstairs again. The line was not down to 4 people. Luckily they saw me and the pilots felt bad and let me jump in line. Not once did the deskman apologize for anything. He even had an attitude about it. The beds were acceptable, but not as comfortable as other Courtyards I have stayed. The room looked well worn. The hallway did not even look like it was vacuumed, food particles were on the ground! The next morning breakfast was great for a Courtyard, the only bright star for this dump. The server was extremely attentive and pleasant. The food was pretty good. Maybe the bar was set so low with the other experiences here. I should have went with my instincts and kept my original reservations that were deeper in the city. When I come back to Panama, this will definitely not be my hotel.

Der Pool ist riesig und warm in der Nacht. Die Bar in der Nähe des Pools war großartig, gute Getränke und ein großes Abendessen. Am nächsten Tag gingen wir mit dem Bus des Riande Hotel zum Flughafen.

Während der Epidemie änderte sich ihr Frühstücksbuffet in ein Menü. Wenn das Frühstück in Ihrem Zimmerpreis inbegriffen ist, sollten Sie drei Optionen haben. Das amerikanische Essen, das wir damals gegessen haben, war sehr gut, aber der Haken war, dass die Portion etwas klein war. Wenn Sie großen Appetit haben, sollten Sie nicht satt werden, sondern können auch Geld ausgeben, um eine zusätzliche Hotelwaage zu kaufen, die eine sehr zufriedenstellende 3-Sterne-Hotelanlage ist. Damals habe ich ihr Freibad nicht erlebt und war nicht vorsichtig. Da sie wissen, ob es an der Epidemie oder aus anderen Gründen liegt, stellt ihr Hotel keine Einwegpantoffeln zur Verfügung. My family stayed at this hotel for spring break and let me tell you it was AMAZING!!! Upon check in there was a hiccup and after it was addressed by upper management, our stay was flawless for the rest of the week. First off the grounds are STUNNING and very well maintained. The hotel is a little further from the city but we enjoyed that because whenever we wanted to go into town it was a quick uber ride away. The pools were amazing! We were here 7 days and we did not want to leave! The breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning, the spa was relaxing and my massage was wonderful. We had dinner on property one of our nights and the live music was a nice touch and food here was top notch as well. Drinks at the bar were great-we had a ”date night” here to celebrate our anniversary and the staff assisted my husband with surprising me with lovely roses and fine chocolates. I'm giving the hotel 5 stars because not only is it truly a luxury experience, but their staff is incredible, Isaac is GEM!!!! He literally checked on my family EVERY single day. He turned my stay into one of the best vacations I've ever had (and I travel...OFTEN, all over the world). He was warm, genuine and PROFESSIONAL! He is the reason that I will return to this property during our next visit to Panama, because we will be back! Thank you Santa Maria for a wonderful vacation and thank you Isaac for EVERYTHING!!! Die Lage des Hotels ist ganz in der Nähe des Huawei Panama Büros, 200 Meter zu Fuß, die Hoteleinrichtungen sind relativ neu, die Gastronomie ist gut, das Servicepersonal ist sehr professionell, hilft mir aber auch ein wenig beim Gehen, die Reise ist sehr angenehm. Natürlich ist auch das Essen im Restaurant neben dem Hotel gut.

Ich nahm meine erste Reise nach Panama und blieb in diesem Hotel seit seiner Marke, die ich kenne und ich bin sehr glücklich, das habe ich getan. Das Personal vor allem Issac im XYZ Bar war erstaunlich. Ich war da am Geburtstag und alle gingen aus ihrem Weg, den Tag besonders zu machen. Ich kann nicht warten, um zurückzukommen. Die Lage war perfekt für das, was ich während meines Aufenthalts geplant habe.
