As someone who’s traveled around Mauritius quite a bit, I can honestly say Legend Hill Resort and Spa is one of the best new properties on the island. It’s perfect for honeymooners, family vacations, or anyone just needing to disconnect and recharge in a beautiful setting. The combination of incredible location, luxurious accommodations, amazing food, and top-tier service can’t be beaten. We’re already planning our next trip back—10/10 would recommend! 🌟

Rats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

This resort is an absolute gem! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The views were breathtaking—every glance out the window felt like a postcard come to life. Its location was ideal, offering both convenience and a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The serene, quiet atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway!

酒店環境是非常不錯的啦，在攜程預訂的包含早餐晚餐，而且酒店入住有100美金的消費，性價比超級高。 酒店一共四個餐廳，個人最推薦亞洲餐廳（圖二三是印度餐廳）炒麪披薩魚生飯這些都很好吃。不過吃的最多的還是自助餐廳，雖然不好吃，但是選擇比較多，主要有水果。 海鮮餐廳的服務員非常不友好，因為英文不太好去點餐，被那個黑黑的服務員嘲笑，非常不禮貌。酒店可以注意一下。

It’s a little adventurous to get here (only possible with own car or their van on request). But the views from their restaurant and rooms are extremely stunning!!!! The service is a bit slow and if there is something or you need something you have to call the reception with your own phone. Also, wifi connectivity can vary depending on the weather up there. Be aware, no kids allowed and the terrain is difficult for people who have difficulty with walking. At the end of the day you come here for the paradise view, which is just mesmerizing!

An amazing hotel right on the water with every room facing the water. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Beautiful big rooms with lovely balconies. The dinner and breakfast were also really good, with a great variety and a lovely outdoor area to sit at. I do however think the cleaning staff need to take a bit more care when cleaning. We were there for 6 nights and 3 of the nights we had to phone housekeeping because we did not have towels, or we did not get toilet paper, or we did not get our bath robes… and then housekeeping took at least 20-30minutes to bring the items. The other thing was that they put a single duvet into a double duvet - so when you are sleeping there are many times when you only have a sheet and no duvet. Maybe change that. Otherwise I really can’t complain about anything. There are plenty of beach chairs and there were always chairs available and it was an amazing and relaxing place.

Die Einrichtungen sind sehr gut, klein und exquisit. Jede Ecke ist voller Kunst und überall gibt es Überraschungen. Es handelt sich nicht um die High-End-Einrichtungen, die man von einem High-End-Luxushotel erwarten würde. Dieser Ort ist nur für Erwachsene. Das Designkonzept und die Einrichtungen sind sehr gut für Nicht-Eltern und Kinder geeignet. Komfort + Persönlichkeit + Blickfang + Freizeit + Unterhaltung. Hygiene: Alles im Hotel ist sauber, egal in den öffentlichen Bereichen oder Zimmern, der Strand wird den ganzen Tag über gereinigt (außer nachts). Das Designkonzept folgt dem Prinzip des Naturschutzes. Es gibt keine Plastikprodukte. Ich habe meine eigenen Müllsäcke mitgebracht. Umgebung: Das Hotel als Ganzes ist ein Kunstwerk. Farben im mediterranen Stil: Blau + Orange + Zitronengelb + schwarze und weiße Streifen, dazu der weiße Sand des Strandes + mintfarbenes Meerwasser Gibt es etwas Berauschenderes als dieses Farbschema? ? ? Das Fotografieren ist absolut schön, besonders wenn die Sonne scheint (an bewölkten Tagen sieht es auch gut aus, aber die Sonne kann den Charme des Paradieses besser interpretieren). Service: Die meisten sind sehr zufrieden. Es gab einen kleinen Vorfall, aber der Manager hat geholfen, ihn zu lösen, und das Ergebnis ist immer noch gut! Ich bin sehr froh, einen so ehrlichen Manager getroffen zu haben, der meinem Vertrauen gerecht wurde und gleich 5 Häuser auf einmal gebucht hat! Mein Mann und ich haben insgesamt 5 Zimmer für unsere Familie gebucht. Hier gibt es einen Laden, der alle hoteleigenen Dinge verkauft. Die Kleidung und der Schmuck sind alle sehr schön. Ich habe viele davon gekauft, einige davon sind Unikate, die Sie einzigartig machen sollen. Dies ist die Geschichte, die hier passiert ist, Sie können das Bild sehen, das ich gepostet habe (ich war wirklich zu faul, es wiederholt auf mehreren Plattformen zu schreiben, also habe ich einen Screenshot des Kommentars auf einer anderen App zum Buchen von Häusern gemacht. Wie auch immer, ich habe es selbst geschrieben ) Frühstück: Ganz besonders, unbegrenzt, aber man muss es selbst bestellen. Das frisch gebackene Brot hat viele Geschmacksrichtungen und duftet sehr. Wir checkten am Silvesterabend ein und am nächsten Tag wurde das chinesische Feiertagsfrühstück speziell für uns zubereitet, inklusive Haferbrei und eingelegte Eier, was eine Überraschung war. . . Wenn Sie gerne fotografieren, sollten Sie dieses Hotel nicht verpassen! Wenn Sie ein Urlaubsleben nur für Erwachsene genießen möchten, sollten Sie sich dieses Hotel nicht entgehen lassen! Das Hotel ist etwas abgenutzt, die Zimmer haben kalte Fliesen auf dem Boden und es gibt keine Möglichkeit, die Badeanzüge zu trocknen. Das Essen ist gut, tolles Restaurant. Wir haben in einem japanischen Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Mir gefiel nicht, dass überall auf dem Hotelgelände Leute herumliefen. Sicherheitspersonal haben wir nicht gesehen und wenn doch, hat es niemanden beachtet. Fremde näherten sich den Sonnenliegen, gingen hinein, duschten in der Nähe des Pools, wahrscheinlich hätten sie auch ins Restaurant gehen können, da am Eingang niemand war und niemand etwas fragte. Einmal brachten sie uns eine Rechnung vom Vortag ohne Unterschrift aufs Zimmer. Wir sagten, dass es nicht unser Konto sei, sie haben es ruhig entfernt, wahrscheinlich ist das nicht das erste Mal.

Das Hotel ist groß, die Verpflegung ist reichhaltig und Sie können Thunfisch frei genießen. Auch das Zimmer ist groß, die Ausstattung neu, der Service sehr aufmerksam, ein typisches Resorthotel und die Baratmosphäre ist sehr gut.

I had a great stay at Royal Green Resort. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good if you have a car — about 57 minutes from the airport by car. I would like to thank Vedhna in particular; she was professional and very kind in all her interactions with me.
