As someone who’s traveled around Mauritius quite a bit, I can honestly say Legend Hill Resort and Spa is one of the best new properties on the island. It’s perfect for honeymooners, family vacations, or anyone just needing to disconnect and recharge in a beautiful setting. The combination of incredible location, luxurious accommodations, amazing food, and top-tier service can’t be beaten. We’re already planning our next trip back—10/10 would recommend! 🌟

This resort is an absolute gem! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The views were breathtaking—every glance out the window felt like a postcard come to life. Its location was ideal, offering both convenience and a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The serene, quiet atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway!

Rats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

It’s a little adventurous to get here (only possible with own car or their van on request). But the views from their restaurant and rooms are extremely stunning!!!! The service is a bit slow and if there is something or you need something you have to call the reception with your own phone. Also, wifi connectivity can vary depending on the weather up there. Be aware, no kids allowed and the terrain is difficult for people who have difficulty with walking. At the end of the day you come here for the paradise view, which is just mesmerizing!

Das Hotel ist etwas alt, aber alle Einrichtungen sind noch vollständig und der Service ist großartig. Neben dem Buffet gibt es drei Swimmingpools und drei Restaurants, die sehr gut sind . essen. Auch die Restaurants am Meer sind köstlich und bieten exquisite Gerichte, die zu Datteln passen.

Die Zimmerausstattung ist veraltet, das Restaurant ist absolut groß, der Service ist in der Regel sehr gut, der Pool ist nicht schlecht, besonders der Erwachsene Pool ist sehr schön, das Hotel ist ein guter Ort zum Sonnenaufgang!

Insgesamt ist es ein sehr gutes Hotel, das über 2 Einzelbetten und 1 Doppelbett verfügt. Für eine vierköpfige Familie wird kein Aufpreis berechnet Frühstück, aber das Frühstück ist nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Es ist zu gut für den ostasiatischen Geschmack geeignet. Das Abendessen ist etwas besser, nur ein bisschen. Wir haben die Schultasche eines Kindes am Flughafen in Mauritius verloren und es waren Wertsachen darin. Wir dachten, wir könnten sie nicht finden, aber der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption von Intercontinental half uns, die Flughafenpolizeistation zu kontaktieren, und die Schultasche wurde geborgen, was sehr SCHÖN war . Es war etwas unangenehm, später auszuchecken. Nach der Verhandlung wurde es mir auf mein Konto zurückerstattet. Insgesamt war es auch sehr hilfreich.

Die Lage dieses Hotels ist sehr gut, das Meerwasser ist großartig, der Strand neben dem Hotel hat viele Korallen, viele Fische und das Schnorchelerlebnis ist sehr gut. Aber das Hotel selbst ist nicht gut. Die Einrichtungen sind alt und der Service ist durchschnittlich. Das Wichtigste ist, dass es bis spät in die Nacht keine Möglichkeit gibt, sich gut auszuruhen wählen oder ablehnen. Steht in einem Hotel nicht oberste Priorität darauf, dass die Menschen gut schlafen? Ich verstehe es nicht. Kurz gesagt, dieser Strand ist sehr zu empfehlen, aber dieses Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen.

I had a great stay at Royal Green Resort. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good if you have a car — about 57 minutes from the airport by car. I would like to thank Vedhna in particular; she was professional and very kind in all her interactions with me.
