An overall enjoyable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Amman, but there’s certainly room for improvement. Pros: - Rooms are enormous, and incredibly comfortable, with a good modern TV that allows streaming from your phone and a lovely rain shower. This really is the major highlight. - Legend’s bar is very fun. Cocktails may be a bit lacklustre, but the massive screens, live music, and golf and racing simulators more than make it a great bar. - The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, and definitely a great choice for dinner. - Breakfast when available is very solid but not amazing (see the cons for more info). - Hotel location is far from downtown, but next to all the other major hotels with good access to restaurants. - Staff are courteous and helpful for the most part. Cons: - The breakfast restaurant is far too small for the size of the hotel. I had breakfast paid for, but missed it twice due to the restaurant being full. This really needs to be amended because the hotel itself was not even full. If you cannot attend the capacity of your hotel, this is a deep issue. Breakfast was solid, but still it was small compared to other 5 star establishments. - New Year’s Eve was due to be the highlight of our stay, but we were left massively underwhelmed. We booked a table at Roberto’s, but despite being seated by 22:20, it took until 23:00 to get our appetisers, and we had not even had our main courses by the time the New Year came. This is unacceptable. - A small but necessary point, in general the cleaning was fine, but one day we returned to the hotel at 16:40 to find we still had not had our room made up. We had to request this. I expect far more from a 5 star establishment, and the fact that I’m not sure we would have received a cleaning without our request is concerning. Overall, I’m happy with my stay. I still think the Ritz-Carlton Amman is probably the best hotel choice in Amman, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My review and rating reflects how I feel based on competing hotels in the area.

Das Hotel liegt in der Innenstadt von Amman, umgeben von großen Einkaufszentren, was Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants ideal macht. Die oberen Stockwerke bieten eine tolle Aussicht. Ich hatte es wegen der Marriott-Marke W gebucht, aber das Zimmer war klein und schlecht eingerichtet, das Waschbecken direkt neben dem Bett. Beim Check-in bekam ich außerdem das falsche Zimmer zugewiesen. Dank der Koordination des Ctrip-Mitarbeiters konnten wir es schließlich ändern. Die Servicequalität ist dringend verbesserungswürdig, und ich werde Marriott per E-Mail eine Beschwerde einreichen.

Great location, but well below Hilton standards I stayed at Hilton Amman for two nights with my friend, and while the hotel has potential, the overall experience fell short of what I expect from the Hilton brand. Location: The property is in a nice, more upscale area of Amman — convenient and pleasant, with several hotels around. The check-in process was smooth even though we arrived very late (around 2 AM), which I appreciated. Room & Amenities: Unfortunately, the in-room experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, we realized there were no toothbrushes provided — something quite basic for a five-star hotel. We called to request them, and it took a long time before they arrived. When they finally did, only one toothbrush was brought, even though we clearly asked for two. It may seem minor, but after a long day of travel and checking in so late, it was inconvenient and left a poor first impression. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely weak throughout the stay — to the point that we couldn’t rely on it and had to use our mobile data instead. One of the power sockets near the TV wasn’t working, and the doors and fittings looked quite old and worn, giving the room a tired appearance that doesn’t reflect Hilton’s usual standard. Overall impression: Hilton is known for consistency, comfort, and attention to detail — qualities I unfortunately didn’t experience here. The location is a plus, but when basic amenities, Wi-Fi, and room maintenance are overlooked, it affects the entire stay. Would I stay again? Probably not. I would consider trying another Hilton brand in Amman, such as Signia or DoubleTree, or perhaps explore another hotel altogether.

Hotel is good value with immaculate common area and a great gym. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Style of the room was a bit dated, especially the bathroom - although very clean.

Right from check-in, the staff made me feel welcome with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie 🍪 — such a simple touch, but it set the tone for a great stay. 🛏️ The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially cozy after a long day, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and restful. 🍽️ I had the chance to try the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of local and international choices. Fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to start the day right. 📍 The location is convenient — close to restaurants, shops, and a good base to explore Amman. Most importantly, the hospitality of the staff stood out. Das Frühstück ist nicht groß und der Service ist akzeptabel. Inland Hanting Level, sauber, aber nicht 4 Sterne wert

Das Hotel liegt in guter Lage mit vielen Cafés und Geschäften in der Nähe. Es verfügt außerdem über ein Restaurant und eine Bar. Wir haben hier zwei Nächte verbracht, um unsere Reise nach Petra und Wadi Rum zu erleichtern. Einmal hatten wir ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und einmal ein Superior-Doppelzimmer gebucht. Es hat sich gelohnt, etwas mehr für das Superior-Zimmer auszugeben, da es einen separaten Wohnbereich, ein größeres Bett und eine größere Dusche hatte. Beide Zimmer waren mit einem Minikühlschrank und einigen preiswerten Snacks ausgestattet. Wir waren froh, dass die Bar zu einer vernünftigen Zeit schloss, sodass es im Zimmer ruhig war. Die Betten fanden wir allerdings nicht besonders bequem. Es gibt einiges, was verbessert werden könnte, aber insgesamt hatten wir einen zufriedenstellenden Aufenthalt, da es ja nur ein Ort zum Schlafen war.

Toller Aufenthalt mit exzellentem Service. Ich habe kürzlich im Mövenpick Hotel Amman übernachtet und war vom Service und dem Gesamterlebnis rundum beeindruckt. Von Anfang an waren die Mitarbeiter freundlich, aufmerksam und stets hilfsbereit. Das Rezeptionsteam war sowohl beim Check-in als auch beim Check-out effizient und sorgte für einen reibungslosen und stressfreien Ablauf. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, sauber und komfortabel und bot eine gelungene Mischung aus modernen Annehmlichkeiten und einem entspannten Ambiente. Besonders gefiel mir die Qualität der Bettwäsche, die für einen erholsamen Schlaf sorgte. Das Housekeeping-Team kümmerte sich während meines gesamten Aufenthalts hervorragend um die Zimmerpflege. Auch das Essen im Hotel war ein angenehmes Erlebnis. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine große Auswahl an internationalen und lokalen Gerichten, alle frisch zubereitet und ansprechend präsentiert. Das Restaurantpersonal war zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, was das Essen noch angenehmer machte. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt – praktisch für Geschäfts- und Urlaubsreisende. Darüber hinaus waren die Einrichtungen, darunter das Fitnesscenter und der Swimmingpool, gut gepflegt und trugen zu dem insgesamt positiven Erlebnis bei. Insgesamt ist das Mövenpick Hotel Amman eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für jeden Besucher der Stadt. Mit seinem hervorragenden Service, den komfortablen Unterkünften und der günstigen Lage wird es dem Mövenpick-Standard voll und ganz gerecht. Ich würde gerne wieder hier übernachten und es weiterempfehlen.

Schönes und sauberes Hotel , alle Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und freundlich sie machten den ganzen Aufenthalt extra besondere , definitiv werde ich wieder zurückkehren

This is a great budget hotel suite, fantastic location and a massive room with fridge TV and air conditioning including tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly and at a very reasonable price. The hotel suite deserves a 5* rating because of the location which is close to all the amenities however the bathroom room was of poor standard and a lot of insects were flying around especially in the bathroom. The drains needed sorting out as on one night the smell was very strong at about 1am in the morning. This hotel claims to be wheelchair friendly but unfortunately it's only wheelchair friendly if you are not travelling alone. I phoned the hotel on two occasions before arriving to inquire about facilities for wheelchair users and was told I can enter the hotel via a ramp used for luggage but unfortunately the ramp was very steep although they did offer to help me when needed. I also wasn't informed that the dining room was not accessible although there was a lift to the bedroom. They were kind enough to bring the breakfast to my room although it was tasteless. There was a ladies long hair on the bedsheet and the cleaning of the room could be improved. I do hope the management will take my advice and publish the correct information regarding facilities for wheelchair users especially for those who are traveling on their own like myself.
