I loved this hotel! The staff was really wonderful and accommodating. Juan was at the front desk each morning with a greeting of ”Good Morning Madame.” Nicolas was very helpful in arranging my stay prior to the visit, which was helpful. Every staff member was really friendly and accommodating. They served a small breakfast buffet in the main level each morning, even cooked eggs to order if you'd like. I went to this country traveling as a solo female. This was a nice location because it's walking distance to several restaurants and a lovely park. I felt completely safe in the area. My favorite was the Peruvian restaurant! I had this amazing seabass dish with scallops and calamari with a sauce on top. This was all on a bed of risotto. Chilian wine...fantastic! I wasn't familiar with this region's wine and was surprised at how good it was. My meal, paired with a lovely Chilian Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was so delicious that I went back and had the same thing the next night. There is also a hill about a mile away that has the Christ statue, that is very walkable. There is a Japanese Garden on the hill. If you can't walk there, there is a funicular and the Uber car service worked just as it does in the US. One tip, if you're from the US or North, the maps will be backwards on Google. Just google directions to get them in the direction you're going. I got lost the first day until I did my Google search on how to fix. The only problem I had was the language. Very few people speak English. I even went to a restaurant, fine dining at a park, quite lovely, but nobody spoke English and the menu was only in Spanish. To make matters worse, my phone died! Be prepared with how to use Google Translate, that will help, but if your phone dies, you're dead in the water. I found it very hard to communicate with people, which would not have been as bad had I not been traveling alone. I found it to be very isolating. I even took a tour with an English-speaking guide. I thought great, now I can chat with people, but NO! It was a guide who spoke Spanish, then translated to Portuguese, then English. I was the only English-speaking person on the bus. The museums, a few are only available in Spanish so no point going to those if you don't speak Spanish. Other than the language barrier, I had a lovely time. My highlight was my hotel and the staff!

The location of the hotel is excellent: it’s in Providencia, one of the best neighborhoods in Santiago, yet still within walking distance of the downtown area. The Salvador metro station is less than a five‑minute walk away. I appreciated receiving an upgrade to a spacious suite, and the room had a coffee machine with coffee provided daily, which was a nice touch. The hotel premises were very clean, the elevators were fast, and breakfast was varied and high quality. I also liked the modern design throughout the property. The staff were very kind, and the hotel places strong emphasis on security, with guards always present at the entrance.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, neben Guangzhou Restaurant (alte Auslandsreise ist sehr gut, das Restaurant ist sehr gut, aber die Daddy ist gut) und das Yuanqi House (Chinesen sind gut geöffnet, das Gesicht ist gut, das Liege ist auch gut), es ist auch bequem, das Frühstück des Hotels ist auch gut in Santiago, sehr neutral und es gibt keinen Lichtpunkt, Das einzige schlechte ist natürlich auch, dass alle Trip.com-Hotels im Ausland schlecht sind, kochen, der Preis wird steigen, sehr fern... Loved this hotel! I don’t like standard chain hotels, so this was perfect for me. Situated in a very safe and convenient area. Only took an Uber twice, one from the Funicular and the other time to the airport. We walked every else. Located right next to the Sculpture Garden and walking distance to the gondolas and downtown! The staff were so sweet and helpful. We were told once we checked in we were now family! The lady from the breakfast room got all teary when I told her we were leaving. They gave us great advice as to where to go and even had a handheld scale to weigh our bags! There is no elevator, so be aware of this if you have heavy bags or can’t do stairs. My sister hated the shower, I loved it. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The only issue, which to me was not important, but might be to you. They are very environmentally conscious in Santiago, so the towels were not a crisp white, but were clean and useable. The bar was also good, but food service took awhile, but when it finally came it was very good. The coffee in breakfast room was fabulous! Water in lobby 24/7. Desk manned 24/7. They buzz you in and out, which I liked. The front desk clerk was going off duty, but waited for me to help me weigh my bags. Would I stay there again? In a heartbeat!! Just FYI tourist areas are mostly closed on Mondays. So no hop on hop off bus and no gondola. But the Funicular was running.

Good quality hotel for a short stay in the Providencia district, near all main attractions and shopping venues. From the higher floors there is a good view on the city and the sunset. On the points to be aware of: the air conditioning system in the room is located near the bed and this makes sleeping not very comfortable. Also I would not rely on the reception calling taxi for you - in our case their partner company announced a 45 minute waiting time in the morning right before our flight.

Dies ist eine Geschichte von 2 Teilen über 2 Aufenthalte 11 Tage getrennt. Der erste Aufenthalt war ziemlich gut, wir hatten ein Zimmer im 17. Stock, wo die Ansichten waren erstaunlich Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Die Dusche ist ein Kunststoff-Insert und sehr schleifend, wenn nass. Der Duschekopf war groß, aber viele der Löcher waren blockiert, aber effizient genug. Das Wi-Fi war gut, das Frühstück war OK. Wir hatten dort zum Mittagessen als Teil einer Gruppe und es war sehr arm. Der Steak war wie Gummi. Das Bett war sehr fest und sehr hoch am Boden. So insgesamt war dieser Aufenthalt ziemlich gut. Allerdings kam der Aufenthalt No2 auch. Dieses Mal war das Zimmer auf dem 3. Stock, so dass die Ansichten von Klimaanlagen waren in Ihrem Gesicht, aber kein Problem. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt gab es zwei wichtige Fragen. Das Boden war sehr schmutzig, die Füße endeten schwarz nach einer Dusche. Die zweite Frage ist, dass das Zimmer in der Haushalte neben den Aufzügen gelegen war. Die ganze Nacht gab es laute Musik, die unser Zimmer durchdringte, was Schlaf schwierig machte. Wir rangierten den Nachtmanager, aber er konnte nichts tun, weil er nicht wusste, wo der Ein-/Ausschaltschalter war. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie keine Zimmer rund um die Aufzugsfoyer buchen.

INSTALLATIONS- UND ARTIKELN sind alt und beschädigt. So war z. B. der Toilettenbeutel sehr verbraucht. Die Haupttür des Zimmers schloss nicht gut. Im Falle einer Notlage hätte man sich verriegelt. Zubehör wie Seife, Shampoo, war nur für eine Person und die Zahlung war größer als die auf der Seite angekündigte. Und das Frühstück war nicht verändert, zum Beispiel fehlen Alternativen zu Süßigkeiten, oder es gab keinen Tocino ...

Old hotel. Some of the amenities need an updating. Rooms are spacious but acoustics is very bad. You can hear everything going on in the hallway, sometimes too early in the morning.

Nice and elegant hotel. Excellent location. Personnel is quite friendly (don Hugo at reception, for example). Rooms and climatization is excellent. I have recommended this hotel to several of my friends. One minor thing that I think should be improved: The cards system used to open the room's lock needs to be fixed. I had to go to reception several times to have them replaced or reprogrammed.
