We stayed 2 days/ three nights at le Meurice , we are very familiar with Dorchester collection, having stayed in Dorchester for the last 20 years very regularly. What could I say ? Amazing location, amazing staff, very attentive to small details , beautiful breakfast and beautifully appointed rooms . I had to use the hotel spa while I was in transit between Paris and London, having landed in Paris and going by train to London, the hotel allowed us to use their spa to shower and kept our belongings while we had lunch with friends. When we came back from London we felt welcome and cared for. A birthday cake was sent to my husband , and we had fresh fruits and treats everyday.le Dali serves amazing food and has nice ambiance , Alain ficasse was closed for dinner during our stay but we had beakfast there eveyday. Amazing setting! Counting the days to be back in January!

This was our third stay at this hotel over a period of several years and I posted a very positive review in 2014. Oh, how things have changed here! I begin with the most serious of the offenses and indignities we suffered during our 5-night stay. I was entrapped in the hotel's elevator for a period of 10-15 minutes before the staff registered any response to the emergency alarm bell or my pounding on the elevator door. When a maintenance employee finally arrived, he said that the alarm bell notified the off-premises elevator service company rather than the hotel itself. I knew this was not accurate as I could clearly hear the alarm when I repeatedly pressed it. When I was finally liberated from the elevator and spoke with the on-duty manager, he apologized and said he had been in the ”back office” and had not heard the alarm. The general manager of the hotel also stated that she regretted the ”inconvenience.” I think this event qualified substantially above the level of ”inconvenience” and the manager's proffer of a fractional portion of the substantial Marriott points I had used for my stay was wholly inadequate for the life-threatening emergency that could well have been the case. In addition to this incident, we experienced an appalling indifference and lack of basic service from the staff of the hotel, including (1) absence of a bellman to assist with our bags upon arrival at the hotel by taxi ,(2) failure to deliver an additional luggage rack to the room following request of the bellman, (3) failure of housekeeping staff to make up the room for a period of two hours and after three requests when we inadvertently left the French-language ”do not disturb” sign on our door, (4) failure to respond to three or more requests for towels that had not been left by the housekeeper, and (5) recommendation by the newest and least-experienced junior concierge of an Asian restaurant that displayed a ”closed” sign when we arrived and where no employees spoke English or could provide an English-language menu. (In fact, with regard to the restaurant, the chief concierge told us the next day that she had ”never heard of it.”) We chose this hotel because we had previously had positive experiences, notwithstanding the fact that the rooms are extremely small (even with our upgrade from a ”cubby hole” to a ”shoebox-sized” room). The hotel's common area is beautifully decorated and the rooms are well-appointed despite their size. The problem with this hotel boils down to indifferent management and that is really a shame. It could be so much more!

Kleine, aber wir wollten nicht mehr Zeit im Zimmer verbringen. die Lage funktioniert groß, kleiner Spaziergang zum U-Bahnhof (verbrauchte nicht wegen der Streiks) kleiner Spaziergang zum örtlichen Bahnhof, und Roissey Bus, der auch nicht schlecht zu benutzen ist. Der Bus war nicht laufend, als wir eintraten, so nahmen wir eine überpreiste Cab. (Tu das nicht). Sehr kurze Spaziergang, wenn Sie durchschnittlich 3-4 Meilen pro Tag wie wir, zum Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Orangerie, D'Orsay und Isle de la Cité. (in andere Richtung, Eiffelturm ist nicht weit). Vieles Essen in der Nähe, ATM, Gemüse. Nochmals, das Personal war hilfreich mit unserem schlechten Französisch, und es alles arbeitete großartig.

Dienst: Der kleine Bruder der Rezeption ist zu tief, sehr französisch ist immer noch sehr intim und älter mit uns. Die Sicherheit der Tür ist auch sehr gut. Der Service an der Rezeption war sehr gut. Ich fragte, ob ich unterwegs Wasser in Flaschen mitbringen müsse, bevor ich abreiste. Am Nachmittag gab es auch kostenlosen Tee. Es ist ein sehr kostengünstiges Hotel in Paris.

My wife and I had a wonderful 8-night stay at Hotel Brighton. We learned of the great hotel from Frommers’ Travel Guide - listed the hotel as one of the best in Paris with “the best view”. The hotel, all the wonderful staff and the “junior suite” did not disappoint! ALL the staff are SO hospitable and helpful! The great hotel is beautiful! The hotel and our fairly roomy suite overlooked Paris’ largest and oldest (and wonderful, beautiful !) park - Jardin des Tuileries. The room view included the magnificent Louvre Museum to the left, the gardens in the center, and the Eiffel Tower to the right. The Seine River and so many old historical sites ,museums and wonderful restaurants are just a short walk from the hotel. One of the wonderful hotel staff – “ Giorgio – told us about a great restaurant on the other side of the Seine - in a picturesque cobblestone ally by a great old church that served such GREAT beef bourguignon. he hotel room was SO nice, with wonderful top-notch bedding, and bathrobes, etc. Each day great staff made sure the room was kept clean and the mini-fridge filled with bottled water, and the room with small snacks. We also invested in the daily hotel breakfast package. What a spread with such great service! Tasty and freshly prepared eggs, bacon, crepes, fruit, wonderful rich coffee, juices and teas, etc. etc. Each afternoon, in the beautiful hotel lobby area, staff offer delicious wonderful cold liquids and slices of cake/pastries) for all patrons. Such a wonderful hotel touch when taking a break from the wonderful sightseeing. The hotel is also a half block from a Metro Station, making travel and sightseeing all around Paris so convenient and inexpensive. Hotel staff were all so helpful with advice on Metro trains and stations. The whole area around the hotel is so clean and beautiful, with so many nice and very helpful locals. The whole area was peaceful and quite. Again we cannot say enough about this wonderful hotel and the all the staff. They were such a major reason our Paris trip was so successful. We are very thankful and cannot recommend this hotel more highly. Thank you for reaching out and seeking our opinions on your hotel and staff. They are WONDERFUL! Das Hotel hat uns insgesamt nicht sonderlich beeindruckt. Sehr gute Lage gleich beim Platz Vendôme in einer sehr kleinen, ruhigen Gasse. Das Zimmer im 4. Stock war schön, frisch renoviert, kleiner Balkon mit Ausblick auf die Baumwipfel der Tuilerien. Unkomfortables und kaltes Badezimmer, WLAN hat im Zimmer so gut wie gar nicht funktioniert, eine Beschwerde an der Rezeption hat ergeben, daß das Hotel vielleicht den Provider wechseln wird, - sehr unprofessionelle Antwort. Bei der Ankunft und noch nächsten Tag hat der Lift nicht funktioniert. Das Personal der Rezeption war insgesamt reichlich unfreundlich.

Ich habe gerade nach dem Anruf des Hotels aufgehängt, um ein Zimmer für den Monat Juni zu buchen. Sie gab mir einen Preis und ich entschied, weiter zu gehen, nachdem ich nicht die Bestätigungs-E-Mail erhalten, Ich rief sie zurück und sagte, dass der Manager hat das gleiche Zimmer gleichzeitig gebucht, Ich habe offensichtlich gefragt, zu ehren, was sie mit mir vereinbart haben und dass wir nicht gedacht haben Wenn wir irgendwann Schlafzimmer zu bewegen. Nächstes, sie riefen mich zurück und sagten, es war ein Fehler und der Preis, den sie mir ursprünglich gegeben hatten, war falsch und der richtige Preis war mehr als 200EUR pro Nacht!!! Die Person, mit der ich gesprochen habe, war angeblich neu und er bat den Manager zu sprechen, und er hat mich nicht durchgemacht. Das zeigt ein Mangel an Ausbildung und Kommunikation im Hotel und vor allem zeigen sie keine Respekt für KUNDE UND POTENZIELLE KUNDE. Vergewissern Sie sich, online zu buchen, um Enttäuschungen zu vermeiden.

Stock war schön, frisch renoviert, kleiner Balkon mit Ausblick auf die Baumwipfel der Tuilerien. Unkomfortables und kaltes Badezimmer, WLAN hat im Zimmer so gut wie gar nicht funktioniert, eine Beschwerde an der Rezeption hat ergeben, daß das Hotel vielleicht den Provider wechseln wird, - sehr unprofessionelle Antwort. Bei der Ankunft und noch nächsten Tag hat der Lift nicht funktioniert. Das Personal der Rezeption war insgesamt reichlich unfreundlich.
