Kefalos Damon Hotel Apartments

Sehr sauber, das freundlichste Hotel, in dem ich je gewesen bin. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich, jeder scheint mit jedem zu sprechen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, die Betten sind schön und komfortabel

Zum ersten Mal in Zypern und Nutzung des Hotels. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich genossen. Hätte ein Zimmer etwas abseits der nächtlichen Aktivitäten bevorzugt, da wir uns ausruhen mussten. Abgesehen davon war unser Aufenthalt angenehm und wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Die Kefalos Damon Apartments sind wirklich schön zum Verweilen. Schöne, saubere Apartments in großartiger Lage. Es ist einfach, einen Bus in der Nähe zu bekommen, um den Hafen, die Altstadt von Paphos oder die Coral Bay zu besuchen. Es ist auch einfacher, Busse von der Altstadt in andere Gegenden zu bekommen. Alle Mitarbeiter der Damon Apartments sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und alle Speisen waren köstlich. Der Poolbereich ist schön mit vielen Sonnenliegen und die Poolbars sind sehr gut. Das Mittagessen von der Poolbar war sehr schön und die Portionen waren großzügig. Wir würden auf jeden Fall gerne wieder dort übernachten.

Die Lage und das Personal sind großartig, schöne, entspannende Umgebung. Niemand geht zurück für das Essen, sehr langweilige und sich wiederholende fabelhafte Restaurants in der Nähe

First hotel reviewed since Covid Very welcoming on arrival ,good sized room, comfy bed only down point no or very little hot water in the morning. We found the buffet food at all meals varied and good quality ( some were complaining that it was the same every day but if you have everything on you plate then it will be the same every day). My wife required Gluten free and after a word with the restaurant manager she was given a menu to pre order lunch and dinner off, The bar had a good choice of drinks but service could be a bit slow if a certain 2 barmaids were on as they would rather chat to each other. Entertainment was great Pino and Merci work so hard through out the day and evening often turning up early and going home late. There are 3 pools with lots of sun beds our first week was ok no reserving of beds but 2nd week the stupid o clock crowd turned up and started reserving more beds than needed ( sad thing was one of them was always there not on the beds but undercover by the bar making sure no one touched their towels Sooo sad ) Would stay again but we don't like going to the same place year on year out theres a big old world out there and only a short time to see it.

Can’t fault the weather, nice enough staff. As a vegetarian I wasn't keen on the cheese broccoli on offer every meal time, so ended up eating elsewhere on my own dime. Usual all inclusive where they only give you half a beer everytime, why not a pint? The local beaches feel mostly fenced off in paphos, and it was a bit of a walk to the resort related beach. Apartment was clean, bed comfortable. Otherwise no complaints.

Excellent family holiday, hotel was nice and clean, our room had 2 separate bedrooms which was a bonus. Cleaning staff daily done a fantastic job.3 pools to choose from with plenty of sunbeds for everyone. The Mama Mia restaurant was excellent with plenty to choose from.breakfast full English or continental, and also choice of ceral, toast,bakery. lunchtime and dinner time great choices again, with snacks from 3pm to 5pm. Drinks avalible all day from 10am till midnight. Only downside was no ice-cream included. Entertainment was fantastic 6 nights a week.

After reading some of the recent negative reviews, felt I should leave my opinion on our last visit to the Damon. This was our 3rd time staying here. Check in was quick and the lady was very friendly and helpful. We had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the road. Room was spacious and clean, although the air con could possibly do with a clean maybe as it had a bad smell when it was on, especially when it was first turned on. Room was equipped with kettle /fridge , although the fridge didn’t stay on once the room card was removed, which meant you couldn’t leave milk or anything in there. Hotel hadn’t changed much from our last visit, some new faces on the staff, but some familiar faces too. We always use the pool at the back which is quieter, although this year the bar seemed to be permanently closed at this pool, maybe staffing levels?, but didn’t really matter to us anyway. Always plenty of sun loungers and lots of new ones added which was a nice touch. Food was great as always. Really don’t see what people’s bad reviews are about. The only slight disappointment this year from previous, is the puddings..as a bit of a cake lover, there definitely wasn’t the same choice as previous stays here..other than that, can’t really complain. Maybe people need to remember this is not a five star hotel when leaving poor reviews. Some people expect way too much for what they pay. The Damon is a very good 3 star though and we love it here! We have already booked our return to the Damon , thank you for a lovely holiday!
