Wir haben am Anfang unserer Ecuador-Rundreise zwei Nächte in der Hacienda verbracht. Die Hacienda besteht aus einfachen, sehr liebevoll gestalteten kleinen Häusern und ist familienbetrieben. Als wir dort waren war es sehr kühl und wir fanden nach dem Abendessen einen knisternden Kamin in unserem Appartement und Wärmflaschen in den Betten vor - welch Service! Die Familie pflegt einen großen Gemüsegarten, der sehr sehenswert ist und aus dem sich der Koch für sein Menü am Abend bedient. Besonders erwähnenswert ist das Frühstück, zu dem es frisch gepressten Saft gibt.

saubere Zimmer, abends wurden uns Wärmflaschen ins Bett gebracht und angeboten den Kaminofen anzuzünden. Beim Frühstück durften wir zwei Komponenten aus drei Möglichkeiten auswählen - alles lecker und ausreichend. Der Garten ist wunderschön, mit Palmen und zahlreichen Blumen - eine faszinierende Vegetation auf 2.750 Meter Höhe!

Zimmer gross und sauber sowie mit Kamin, der bei Bedarf abends angezündet wird. Ebenso wird abends eine warme Bettflasche gebracht. Ruhig in einem Parkgelegen, nahe zum Zentrum von Otavalo. Personal sehr freundlich

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is in the hills by of Otavalo and a lovely quiet area. The grounds are beautiful quiet, serene. The fire is all set in your fireplace when you return from a fabulous dinner. And the hot water bottles to warm your feet for the night, are placed in your bed. I love that part!

We had a very ejoyable stay here with lovely food. The room was spacious and a hot water bottle was placed in the bed and a fire lit without being requested. Cosy. Very attractive gardens . Highly recommend

Wonderful place to stay in Otavalo , easily accessible by car , near to the town, parque Condor and roads to the lagunas Mojanda or laguna Quicocha . The garden of this property full of charm is beautiful , well maintained , with lots of flowers, trees and even a vegetable garden. The cottage is so nice and comfortable with a leaving room including a fireplace , the bedroom (very good beds in which you find a hot water bottle when you go to bed) and hot water for the shower. You have a nice breakfast and can enjoy diner in a well decorated room with a dome (which was probably the chirch). Even better are the people taking care of you ; everyone is so nice and so professional . Special thanks to the nice man who lighted the fireplace for us . Stayed 2 nights but it can be more!

Great service, character, llamas, quiet solitud, fire in your fireplace at night, great onsite restaurant, two cute pups. If you want to have an experience to remember this is your place. They even will come in and put a warm pack in your bed for your bedtime turn in. Loved this place.

I came to this place as a stop for a two day rest between climbing Cayambe and Antisana. The guide service I was using has scheduled nights and this inn. Upon arriving I was totally in awe of the beautiful hacienda style buildings and the surrounding gorgeous gardens. My accommodations were so comfortable. The staff would come in at night and light a fire in the fireplace in the rooms and the hot water bottle was left on our beds. The food was excellent and the staff extremely attentive. I actually ended up staying three more nights on my own and skipping one of the climbs we were to make. I ended up being the only client on the property for a couple nights and I got exquisite treatment from the staff while there by myself. They made many suggestions on where to travel around a local town called for transportation when I needed it, and just spoiled me rotten. I can’t say enough about this beautiful place and if you come to Otavalo make sure you book a night or two here. If I ever come back to Ecuador, this will be the first place I stop.
