Aloft Orlando Lake Nona

Our stay was a mix of kid's spring break and business (bleisure). I booked a Two queen suite, which is actually 2 connecting rooms with 2 -queen beds in one room and the living space in the other with sofa bed. Highlights: 1) The lobby/work/play downstairs is knockout! 2) The pool area is good and maintained well. 3) The restaurant/bar staff are helpful, kind and attentive. 4) Our booking was spacious with and had 2 bathrooms (one warming bidet) 5) Quick access to the toll road 6) Driving or biking distance to restaurants is short. Areas for improvement: 1) The hospitality desk staff barely made eye contact to say hello and did not go out of their way to be helpful. 2) The pool is frigid regardless of the sun shining directly on it. 3) During our 8 day stay, the power went out, elevators power shut off, fire alarm woke us before 7a and there were no warnings regarding whether or not any of it was maintenance or problem related. 4) We learned during our 8 day stay that your room will only be cleaned and replenished every other day. This wasn't great for 4 people, despite our being pretty tidy. After going downstairs to the front desk, I was offered a free coffee (which is already free) for my trouble after having asked for service multiple times without a response by phone. 5) While there was plenty of room for sleeping and sitting, there is little to no storage for storing your items inclusive of luggage/clothes/shoes. If you have an extended stay, are lodging with multiple people and need to place your personal effects away, be prepared to be creative. 6) Lastly, this hotel is on the other side of the tollway from The Wave Hotel/BoxiPark and all restaurants. It is more of a car or bike ride, depending on what work for you. There are no immediate walkable amenities nearby. This was not the Marriott feel that I've come to know for nearly 3 decades now. We will likely not return to this hotel but it is solely due to personal preference and all listed above.

We travel a great deal. This was our first stay at a Boutique hotel such as this… when we are in the area in future, we will return to this hotel. Beautiful place with lovely, trendy vibe and friendly and professional staff.

Brand New Hotel not even on Google or Uber apps yet. The entire town of Lake Nona seems so new so this is no exception. Great Decor ! Staff was nice not really over the top friendly but courteous and respectful. We tried to use the pool but it was freezing . So it’s not heated or if it is no one bothered to put it at a comfortable temp. So that was disappointing. The room is small (typical of Aloft) but a little claustrophobic so next time wud prefer a corner for sure. The bar in lobby is great and great beer selection for the few taps they had. Well Done ! And Great Bartenders!! Positive and Smiles! Mainly getting the Five Star for the Sierra Nevada on tap and the AMAZING Kale salad at bar. Really really excellent !! Chicken wings were kind of a let down but that seemed strictly the source and hopefully they will get a better quality wing eventually. Did have breakfast also - (advocado toast) it took a long time but it was excellent!

This hotel was amazing! It’s so newly built, you can smell it. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, with a lovely lobby. The restaurant at the hotel is great and the chef is very creative. Definitely a gem in the area. The conference room facilities were also clean and large enough for our business gathering.

I felt Completely safe. Nice room. Nice area.
