Sehr gutes Hotel! Ein paar Autominuten vom Skigebiet entfernt, hatten die Kinder viel Spaß! Das Hotel selbst hat eine schöne Umgebung und komplette Einrichtungen. Auch der Service ist super! Das Hotel verfügt über Starbucks, verschiedene kleine Geschäfte und einen Skiverleih. Das Hotel selbst hat auch Seilbahnen und Rutschen, was sehr praktisch ist. Das von uns gebuchte Standardzimmer hat keine Küchenzeile und die Suite verfügt über eine Küchenzeile, die eher für Familienreisen geeignet ist

Ich habe in den letzten zehn Jahren mehrmals im Pepper Tree Inn geblieben und war immer zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt. Aber ich war in meinem Aufenthalt in diesem Wochenende super enttäuscht. Zunächst konnten wir nicht in unser Zimmer bis fast 6 Uhr. Nachdem ich das Zimmer erzählt habe, wäre es vorbereitet, bis die versprochene Eincheckzeit um 14.00 Uhr. Ich verstehe, dass sie kurz besetzt sind, und ich wurde versprochen, eine 50%ige Erstattung in meinem Zimmer. Nach dem Eingang ins Zimmer war es heiß und ich merkte, dass der Pepperbaum keine AC hat. Ich hätte die Website überprüfen sollen, aber ich vermute, dass sie diese Ausstattung haben würden. Im Grunde war es super schwer zu schlafen, weil es so reich und warm im Zimmer war. Insgesamt schien das Eigentum müde und verbraucht, und der Pool mit Müll ist so deprimierend. Sehr traurig - dieses Hotel ist nicht alles, was ich mich erinnern kann. Ich hoffe, es ist nur eine Covid-Erholungssituation und es wird in den kommenden Monaten besser. Ich würde noch im Winter zurückkommen und dort bleiben, aber wenn sie nicht AC erhalten, würde ich es nicht für einen Sommerbesuch empfehlen.

The room as very clean, the internet and the TV worked well. It is next to a Tesla Charging station and less than a half a mile from a new Raleys market. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave. Both were very clean and the refrigerator has a freezer compartment. This was very important to get cold packs ready for the next day's trip in the heat.

Unser Sohn hat am 28. September das Spartan Race durchgeführt. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, im Squaw Valley zu bleiben und so nah am Veranstaltungsort zu sein. Unser Zimmer war großartig mit Zugang zu Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Obwohl es keine Skisaison war, hatten wir ein bisschen Schnee und waren dankbar für die Tiefgarage!

The hotel was great and the location was excellent. It is a converted 60’s motel that has been nicely updated. The rooms aren’t fancy, but the bed and showers are good. We ended up staying an extra day and had to switch rooms, and they were the same good quality. Out room faced the lake and had a gorgeous view without even getting out of the comfy bed. Along with a nice ambiance, the location is excellent. Walking distance to marina and boat trips, grocery store and CVS across the street, as well as numerous great restaurants within walking distance. We only needed to drive to go up to Palisade (formerly Squaw), so a great place to avoid traffic stress. Area was relaxing and quiet while we were there (early June). We had s’mores at the fire pit and walked to the farmers market and brought back breakfast on the deck surveying the lake. Loved it and will return.

Situated just off Donner Pass Road, and right next to Donner Memorial State Park, the Truckee Donner Lodge was a perfect base camp for our first visit to Truckee. The State Park, and beautiful Donner Lake, are walking distance from the Lodge, and Downtown Truckee is mere minutes' drive away. Every member of the hotel staff was friendly and cheerful. The room was clean and functional, and the bed was very comfortable - we slept well. Breakfast was good: eggs and sausage, cereal, toast, yogurt, juice and more. We used the coffee/espresso/cappucino machine at least twice every day. Special thanks to Brooke at the front desk, who made us feel very welcome. Great job! We look forward to visiting Truckee again and being guests at the Truckee Donner Lodge. Until next time!
