Hotel Medena ist ein Hotel mit 3 Sterne und soll auch so betrachtet werden. Wir hatten ein Superior Doppelzimmer im neu renoviertem Teil. Für Bezeichnung ”superior” war das Zimmer sehr klein. Neurenoviertes Badezimmer war funktionstüchtig. Wir hatten Badewanne mit Dusche. Einstieg in die Badewanne ist sehr hoch und eng. Das Hotel ist auf einer Erhöhung gebaut und man muss zum Strand viele Stufen bewältigen. Wir haben ca. 200 gezählt. Das bedeutet 200 zum Strand und 200 zurück. Alternative gibt es nicht, außer durch den Wald mit vielen spitzen Steinen. Lift gibt es im Hotel von Erdgeschoß bis zum letztem Stock. Zum Restaurant sind es auch nur Treppen. Sehr ungemütlich das ganze auch für Familien mit Kinderwagen. Wir hatten All Inclusive Urlaub. Das Essen war reichlich und abwechslungsreich und hat gut geschmeckt. Das Manko: All inclusive wurde außerhalb Hauptrestaurant nur noch an zwei Stellen angeboten: Hotellobby von 9-21 Uhr und Swimmingpool Bar von 9-18 Uhr. Das Personal bei Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Reinigungspersonal eher weniger. Keine Tägliche Reinigung, Betten wurden nicht gemacht und Mistsäcke nur alle 3 Tage gewechselt. In großem und ganzen ist es ein Hotel für Massentourismus (über 600 Zimmer), aber für 7 Tage Urlaub ganz gut.
