Rose Revived by Chef & Brewer Collection

We visited this pub 19th May with family for our grandson’s birthday as he wanted to go on a trip along the river driving a boat which is accessible from the pub garden. We luckily found tables for us all as it was very busy and the staff had no issues with us pushing 3 tables together. It was slow to get a drink from table service and we found it easier to go to the bar ourselves, but again it was very busy. The guy that looked after us (didn’t get his name unfortunately) was amazingly helpful, bubbly, liked having a laugh with us, and really looked after us. He brought out a birthday cake for our grandsons birthday and made a lovely effort ensuring the candles didn’t go out in the wind. We all enjoyed our food which ranged from burgers, pies, to roast dinners and no one had complaints. Would definitely come back here again for a visit, even if it were to sit, drink, and watch the world go by on the river.

Had a wonderful family meal at Rose Revived, we've been coming here for many years and it has been hit and miss historically but I am very pleased we had a great meal accompanied with good service from Evie. Looking forward to coming back again

Lovely location by the river, enjoyable wholesome food (we ate everything) and very good service from Kat. Butternut squash soup was very tasty and there was a good range of vegan and vegetarian meals. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Drove passed and saw a beautiful place so decided to stop for lunch. So glad we did, amazing service, Kat was really friendly and attentive, food was excellent, filling and plenty of it. Shame we could not manage desserts as there was a great choice.

What a gem. Location to die for. Beautiful inside and out and great service. Prices reasonable too. A great choice if you fancy a day out in the country side with lovely walks along the Thames and river Windrush. Can’t think of anything to criticise.

The Rose Revived in Witney, Oxfordshire, is more than just a restaurant; it's a quintessential British pub experience. Nestled in a beautiful location by the River Thames, it offers a warm and inviting a**osphere, delicious food, and friendly service. Staff are all pleasant. Lewis looked after us from start to finish and was very pleasant throughout. All in all a lovely visit and would highly recommend.

Lewis our waiter was very attentive and efficient. The menu was full of choice, slightly disappointed they had ran out of Roast Turkey & Hake Special… but it was 5pm on a Sunday and they had been busy I’d expect. We opted for the roast beef and chicken both tasty and portion size was spot on not too big or small. We will be back with the family I’m sure.

My husband and I just stopped in for Sunday Roast at the pub - the view of the river and willows out the window, the delicious food, and wonderful service by Lewis… all wonderful and such an improvement in kitchen staff and meal service. We were even given extra roast potatoes - hubby VERY happy! Very grateful and we will be back!
