Hotels in der Nähe von Dog Park Of Gantry Plaza State Park, New York

Wir sind zur Zeit noch im LIC Hotel und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Alles sauber, super nette Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen. Kaffee und Tee gibt es in der Lobby rund um die Uhr gratis. Das Frühstück ist der Hammer. Frische Rühreier, Bacon, Würstchen, Joghurt, Kellogs, Äpfel, Toast, Bagels, Marmelade, Kaffee, Orangen sowie Apfelsaft vorhanden und alles super lecker. Mit der blauen Subway Linie E ist man in 5 min. direkt in Manhattan und ca. 30 min. bis zur Air Train Station von da man dann aus auch zum JFK kommt. Wer nicht für teureres Geld jeden Tag in Manhattan essen will kann es auch hier in der Gegend beruhigt tun. John Brown Smokehouse oder das Court Sqaure Diner möchte ich hier besonders nennen aber gibt noch viele andere zahlreiche gute Diners/ Restaurants hier zu günstigen Preisen. Ein Supermarkt ( KeyFood) befindet sich gleich neben dem Ausgang der Subway Station die übrigens wenn man rechts aus dem Hotel geht höchstens 100 m entfernt ist. Und auch nur ca. 600 m vom Hotel entfernt ist das berühmt Pepsi Cola Schild direkt am East River. Von da aus man hat auch einen schönen Ausblick auf die Skyline von Manhattan. Einfach mal bei Tripadvisor nach Gantry Plaza State Park schauen. Also für ein Städtetrip kann ich das Hotel nur empfehlen. Noch ein kleiner Tip: Immer das Hotel vor Anreise anschreiben das man ein Zimmer zur Seitenstraße möchte. Da ist es schön ruhig und man kann richtig gut schlafen.

Unser urpsrüngliches Zimmer lag im niedrigen Zahlenbereich (302). Daher nah am Poolbereich (externer Anbieter) und es war laut daher. Das Alan reicht nicht in die Ecke dieses Hotel. Das Zimmer war nicht richtig hergerichtet worden. Lange schwarze Haare hier der Badezimmertür und in der Dusche. Als wir uns über den Lärm und die Sauberkeit beschert haben, haben wir ein besseres Zimmer bekommen (312), am anderen Ende und mit Blick auf Mannhaften und die Queens-Bridge. Vorsicht vor den Versprechungen bei Booking.com: Es gibt kein Shuttle-Service, kein Restaurant, kein Pool und keine Bar. Der Pool ist an einen anderen Betreiber abgegeben worden und man muss dafür extra Eintritt zahlen. Die Lautstärke der Bässe ist laut genug, dass man tagsüber sich nicht entspannen kann. Von der Metro Station sind es 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß. Wer sich das antun will, ist kein Problem. Ein guter 24/7 Diner liegt auf dem Weg mit echtem amerikanischen Frühstück.

I stayed originally at this Hilton Garden Inn back in December 2017 (apologies for not leaving a review then!), and we had such a pleasant experience we did decide to come back the next time we visited NYC. The best thing about this Hilton Garden Inn is the close location to both Queens Plaza (literally 20 seconds walk away if you pick the correct subway entrance) and Queensboro Plaza (a little further, but only a few minutes walk) subway stations to get you into Manhattan within 10-15 minutes. This alone makes it so worth the price!! When I go on city breaks, my thing is to find hotels a little further out of the center but close to public transport links and it makes a huge difference in value - this is the absolute perfect fit to this rule for those who don't mind staying out of the center of Manhattan. In addition, I have never felt unsafe in the area that the Hotel is located in too, it's a busy public road very close to the hotel (you can't hear this from the room) so you're never in a quiet area alone if you're walking at night from the Subway. This is not a 5-star hotel so if you're looking for this it may not be your thing, but it is I think one of the best value hotels that can be found in the whole of New York City! When you compare the price of this hotel to other similar hotels in Manhattan, this can be purchased at sometimes more than half the price of other similar (and worse) hotels that in central Manhattan, and does seem to be one of the cheaper ones located outside Manhattan too, but the cheaper price doesn't mean a lack of quality when compared with others! The rooms (from memory) hadn't changed between our two stays in 2017 and 2023 (and do seem older than this) so perhaps could be doing with an update, but they are large rooms and ours had a small sofa located at the end of the room too - beds very comfy. Unfortunately, the air con didn't work our first evening so it was stuffy on the first night, however we didn't bother to raise this as we were so jet lagged from our flight and I'm more than confident the team would've have resolved this for us if we did! Thankfully, it worked the rest of our stay so the room was extremely comfortable after this time. We were located on the 11th floor (I think), and apart from one day where one of the two lifts were broken, we didn't have to spend long waiting for the lifts and got from reception to our room in a few short moments. The reception/lobby/breakfast area seems to have been updated between our stays in 2017-2023, is modern and clean with a large bar area too if required. We didn't have breakfast there or food so can't comment on the food offering. We stayed due to a planned engagement in NYC (she said yes!) and we did tell the Reception Team about this (apologies, we can't remember the woman's name) to see if there was anything they could do as a congratulations, just a simple message in the room for example - she did say leave it with her. We got back later that night,

I just stayed at the Motto in Times Square for the weekend, and had a great experience. First, let me say that I was born and raised in NYC (I live about 30 miles north of NYC now), so I know the NYC area very well, and it was such a joy to experience the city as a ”tourist” for the weekend. The hotel is in a great location near Times Square, where access to public transportation is very easy, as well as to restaurants, and Broadway shows. The hotel is very efficient and modern. The rooms are cozy, and very comfortable. The service is excellent, and the breakfast menu is delicious. I very much enjoyed my stay at the Motto in Times Square.

Das Hotel liegt nur einen Block vom Times Square entfernt, es handelt sich also um eine 5-Sterne-Lage, es ist ein kleines, fünfstöckiges Gebäude ohne Aufzug, die Zimmer sind klein, das Deluxe-Zimmer ist etwas größer – das Zimmer verfügt über eine komfortable Ausstattung Bett, Platz für Gepäck unter dem Bett, ein Badezimmer mit Kosmetikartikeln. Es gibt keinen Kaffee-/Teekocher im Zimmer, aber es gibt viele Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Ich blieb eine Nacht und es gab alles, was ich brauchte. Ich empfehle!

I booked at Nap York Central park in June 2022 for September/October 2022. I chose the discounted flexible rate, as I didn’t see having to cancel or move my dates at all - my flight was paid for. Earlier this month my father suffered a stroke, was diagnosed with cancer, and was told he was in need of an operation on his heart. His quality of living went from active and healthy to in need of 24/7 care overnight. I contacted this property to see if even though the flexible option was non-refundable if there might be some leniency with this as I don’t see being able to travel in the near future, even at a partial refund (mostly for the $500 I already paid to be used for medical bills/needs). You cannot actually call or speak to anyone - they do not have phones. You can only communicate through a chat service. They don’t provide any details as to who you are talking to and my questions as to whether there is a management company I might reach out to were unanswered, and then I was just told ‘we don’t have phones’. After explaining my situation, they let me know they would not refund anything but would move the dates. According to my original booking, I would have six months to reschedule. Speaking to someone through the chat service, I was only given four months to reschedule and many dates blocked out and unavailable to me due to holidays. I pointed out that it was less time than my original booking stated and that went unaddressed, the person let me know that ‘my situation’ (my father possibly terminally ill) ‘was not their responsibility’ and they wouldn’t refund my payment or add any dates (which really would have just been giving me what I should have anyway, not exactly doing me any extra favors) and again - all questions as to whether there is an actual number or company to contact with questions was not provided. While I understand my original request for a refund was outside of the original terms, they don’t even offer the terms that are paid for and clearly stated. I’ve also worked at hotels and lodges in the past to know that they often make allowances for nonrefundable stays in cases of extreme circumstances. Booking.com reached out to try to negotiate and the only response they received was ‘no refund’. I’ve also had travel plans in the past change slightly and have been out money and have not asked for special accommodations or refunds from locations, but with the stress of my father’s health and rising costs, and so suddenly, I was looking for some empathy here. United Airlines is notorious for delayed customer service or non-negotiable refunds and I was able to explain my situation and received a full refund immediately. After some of the language used by whoever manages their chat service, I wouldn’t stay at this location at this point. I've attached some of the reviews on google, as well as management's insane responses (including taunting people about calling the police, or pointing out they don't speak English).

Die West Side YMCA ist sicher kein Frills Platz zum Aufenthalt, aber die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Sie sind direkt neben dem Central Park und dem Columbus Circle. Times Square ist ein einfacher Spaziergang südlich. Wir haben in 2 verschiedenen Zimmern geblieben. Das erste hatte ein Bündel von Betten und war ziemlich klein, aber das Bett war komfortabel und das Zimmer war sauber. Es hatte auch ein kleines TV und Kühlschrank. Wir hatten ein halbes Bad, das war unten im Halle. Das bedeutete, dass wir unseren Schlüssel auf einer der Badezimmertüren zu scannen, um zu kommen, aber einmal in der Innenstadt hatten wir Privatsphäre während wir reingelassen. Die Badezimmer wurden sauber und sauber gehalten. Wir konnten die zweite Hälfte unseres Aufenthalts in ein Zimmer mit einem größeren Bett und einem im Badezimmer. Auch dieses Hotel ist keine Frills. Es kann rund um die Kanten sein, aber es ist sauber und komfortabel am Ende eines langen Tages der Sehenswürdigkeit. Wir hatten nicht die Zeit, den Fitnessraum, den Pool, die Sauna und so etwas zu nutzen, aber sie sahen schön aus. Ich empfehle den West Side YMCA. Wenn Sie NYC besuchen, sollten Sie Dinge tun, nicht um das Zimmer sitzen. Das war alles, was wir brauchen.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar: Mehrere Sehenswürdigkeiten und Stationen verschiedener U-Bahn-Linien sind fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und die legendären DoubbleTree-Cookies einfach nur lecker. Zwei kleine Kritikpunkte: 1. Das Badezimmer ist recht klein und verfügt nur über wenig Ablagefläche. 2. Es ist von Vorteil, auf der 4. oder 5. Etage zu wohnen, sodassman nicht auf einen Aufzug angewiesen ist. Ansonsten muss man mitunter viel Wartezeit vor den Aufzügen einplanen.

Extrem arm. Aus der Vorautorisierung ging hervor, dass die Zahlung bereits erfolgt war, aber es hieß, sie sei nicht eingezogen worden und ich habe drei Karten gewechselt. Außer ein paar Flaschen Shampoo und Toilettenartikeln befand sich nichts im Zimmer und es gab keine Zimmerbeschreibung. Der Fön war kaputt. Die Schalldämmung des Zimmers war äußerst schlecht und der Teppich war schmutzig. Das Frühstück war nichts Gutes. Das Seltsamste ist, dass der Rasierer, die Seife und eine volle Flasche HR-Gesichtsreiniger, die ich mitgebracht hatte, vom Kellner weggenommen wurden und niemand für die anschließende Durchsuchung verantwortlich war und sie herumschubste. Ich habe noch nie ein so schlechtes Sternehotel gesehen! ! !

Langweg zum Buspunkt und warten mehr als 30 Minuten für die nächste pick-up. Neben diesen Unannehmlichkeiten ist alles in Ordnung im Hotel.
