Great hotel, I was given a room on the 24th floor with city views. Excellent customer service.

Had a great stay at the Civilian, all the hotel staff are super friendly and helpful! We will definitely be coming back. Also amazing location close to everything and the **PL gym is awesome!

我們入住了兩晚，第二天回到酒店很晚了，竟然沒有打掃房間。入住時辦理手續也非常慢。晚上酒店內的酒吧聲音很吵，房間裏聽得到。

住了五個晚上，地理位置非常方便，距離百老匯和時代廣場都很近，房間乾淨衞生，非常推薦這家酒店，會再次選擇入住

Eine tolle Unterkunft, sehr modern und schick. Das Zimmer war klein, aber rein zum Übernachten ausreichend. Im Bad könnten mehr Möglichkeiten zum Trocknen der Handtücher vorhanden sein, zwei Haken sind etwas dürftig. Ansonsten nichts zu beanstanden. Würden dort jederzeit wieder buchen.

Great location, great service and lovely decor. The photos didn’t do it justice really as the hotel is very boutique and modern. The staff were really friendly and ensured our party were all staying on the same floor.

The service and staff were phenomenal. Our room comfortable and accommodating too. It lacked some amenities, like a small fridge to store materials or coffee maker, which would be nice. The vibe of the hotel shifted in the night somewhat; it felt stuffy and a little to “chi-chi” for my taste. They closed one of the elevators for what we could only guess was some kind of event elsewhere in the hotel? The dress code for some of these was “a la carte sultry” from the looks of those heading into it, so that certainly was a turn off for us. Granted, the hotel can’t help who goes there, but in tandem with the exclusive elevator and the mood in some of their hotel bars… it did dampen the a**osphere we had really enjoyed upon walking through the door. Hey, if you’re into that kind of thing at night, then you’ll feel quite at home and find what we are saying too judgy. So, I recommend them with some reservations in this respect, strictly based on our sensibilities. All of that aside, there is zero doubt that they pay attention to the details and have a staff that is second to none. Oh, I will say that they have a precheck in but I found this useless as it took the same amount of time to check in normally as it did with precheck. So, yeah… just go in when you arrive as you still need to show the id and credit card you had pre-entered to avoid having to do it once there (haha).

The staff was friendly and helpful, location was good. Room was TINY, cozy is an understatement! We were only there for one night, so the size was bearable but not for more than that.

Easy check-in, helpful staff, comfortable bed, and a very convenient setup for a small space. Perfect location to explore Times Square.

Very convenient location for walkability. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms are very very small, which was not an issue for my husband and me, but may be an issue for people with mobility issues. Best for a shorter stay. Perfect for a quick weekend stay.

Property was really nice clean and well done. The cozy queen is definitely cozy, but everything about the hotel was really nice.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here! Staff was extremely nice, room was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. The rooftop events were a lot of fun before going out for the night and the warm and comfortable a**osphere of the building was really unique compared to other standard hotels. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the city.
