What we (my 23 yr old daughter & I) liked:
The beachfront balcony view, full condo feel, free parking, cable TV choices, convenient location, indoor/outdoor pools and Jacuzzi.
What we did not like:
The rusty rack inside the refrigerator/rust on the bottom, dark kitchen/bathroom lighting, outdated bathroom w/paint peeling, no locking bar/no lock for the balcony sliding door, scuffed living room furniture, no books/guides inside the room on Myrtle Beach nor even one on the property itself, both phones were dead (I had to use my cell to call the main #), wet towel in corner at the Jacuzzi w/Palmetto bug on it, the housekeeper chatting loudly on her cellphone early morning (we could hear her clearly thru the door, it echoed in the hall), DID NOT appreciate the rude maintenance personnel banging on our door at 11:01am on our last day (we were 2 tiny women w/an annoyed man staring at us, saying "I've got work to do in here" - I've never been treated SO rudely in a hospitality setting before, but it went along with other reviews I've read about rude staff).
We are Jersey Girls, & to me, this reminded me of a Jersey Shore rental that needed some TLC, but the landlord was too cheap to bother. It served the purpose I was looking for - an off-season beachfront property that offered free parking, a kitchen, indoor pool, & was near my family & friends I came down to visit. Despite all of the Dislikes, I'd visit this property again, & just deal with the bad stuff. View made up for it.
