The hotel is conveniently located and the room had a nice traditional design. However, I encountered a strong smell in the room, which made my stay uncomfortable. I burned incense to improve the air, which unexpectedly led to a dispute with the hotel about compensation. The amount they requested was surprisingly high and difficult for me to understand. Eventually, the issue was resolved through the booking platform, but the experience was stressful and not something I expected on my trip. I hope the hotel can handle such situations with more flexibility and understanding in the future

Thanks to the whole team who makes my stay so great: Airport pick up & drop off; the room, the pool, the food… The breakfast is AMAZING!!! Especially the little cake for my birthday impressed me much. Will definitely come and stay again

Ich blieb insgesamt fünf Nächte. Ich war von der Reise zu müde, um das Hotel zu wechseln, aber das Hotel war voller Enttäuschungen. Ich kaufte in der Lobby einen Kuchen, der drei- bis fünfmal teurer war als die frischen Kuchen draußen. Ich wusste nicht, wie lange er schon da war, als ich ihn aß. Ich schätze, es war mindestens eine Woche. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Restaurant scheiterte ich. Nach einer erneuten Kontaktaufnahme durch Ctrip entschuldigte man sich und zahlte den Schaden. Das Personal hielt mich wegen eines Fehlers an der Tür zum Frühstück auf. Nach nochmaliger Überprüfung kam nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung. Nach dem Auschecken aß ich im Restaurant und bestellte die Pasta, die ich zuvor bestellt hatte, aber sie roch nach Spülwasser oder Lappen. Das einzig Positive ist der Service des Personals. Kathmandu und das Hotel insgesamt sind nicht zufriedenstellend.

Wenn Sie in Kathmandu bleiben, ist dieses Hotel eine gute Wahl. Das Beste daran ist, dass es ein neues Hotel ist (im Jahr 2024 eröffnet). I stayed at Kusum Airport Hotel, Kathmandu 🇳🇵 for 3 nights (April 1st – April 4th), and overall it was a really good experience. The location is very convenient, especially for travelers since it’s close to the airport ✈️. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect to relax after a long day. What I enjoyed the most was the food — very tasty and satisfying, definitely something I looked forward to every day. A very special thanks to Sachin Thapa 👏 He was honestly one of the best parts of my stay. Always welcoming with a smile, very respectful, and gave excellent service every time. He made sure everything was smooth and comfortable, and his positive attitude really stood out. Staff like him make a place feel more than just a hotel. The only thing that needs improvement is the bathroom, which wasn’t up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel. Other than that, everything else was great — good service, nice atmosphere, and a comfortable stay overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu, especially if you want a convenient location and good food 👍
