GGastnutzerThe Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays.
There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.

GGastnutzerIch habe zwei Nächte in einem sehr sauberen Hotel verbracht, das einen neuen Eindruck machte und modern ausgestattet war. Es lag praktischerweise in der Nähe eines Supermarkts. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich. Ich habe mich sehr über den zweistündigen späten Check-out an meinem letzten Abend gefreut. Ich hoffe, in Zukunft wieder hier übernachten zu können.

GGastnutzerEs ist eine große Tianqiao-Brücke vom Platz und dann in die Hauptstraße Zhuang City. Sie gehen wahrscheinlich 10-15 Minuten. Sie ist ruhiger. Ein wenig von Zhuang City entfernt, aber es ist nicht sehr weit entfernt

GGastnutzerIt is a very beautiful hotel inside out. What does not make this hotel great is the poor service of at least two sections of the hotel from my personal experience. Number one disappointment is the Beauty Salon. I made an appointment for meniscus at 16:30 on September 22. I showed up on time only to be told by the receptionist that the appointment is at 16:45. I told her that is not true and in fact I confirmed it with her twice. It was apparent that someone cut into the line and from our conversation I know she knew it as well. Yet, she was lying through her teeth that is totally beyond me. The worst was yet to come, I was told when I came down again at 16:45, I had to wait for another 20 minutes. That is the end of the story. Second incident is at the “well known” restaurant Mediterra. To make a long story shot, the Greek style calamari I ordered looked as well as tasted like burned wood log. To the main course “beef cheeks” the only thing I could think about it is what I once tasted on a Lufthansa flight business class section is 10 times better.
Other than that I had a very pleasant stay and the receptionists are extremely friendly and helpful. I should also add the location of the hotel is very convenient and has easy access to all the main attractions.

GGastnutzerIch blieb 3 Tage als Fernbediener im WN Hotel und war bei jeder Umstellung angenehmen überrascht. Der Selbst-Check-in- und -Check-out-Prozess war schwach, und der Schlüssellose Bluetooth-Türeingang machte es unermüdlich zu kommen und zu gehen. Die Zimmer sind riesig perfekt für die Einrichtung eines komfortablen Arbeitsplatzes.Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, und das Personal war unglaublich willkommen und hilfreich, wann immer ich etwas benötigte.
Das Hotel liegt nicht im Stadtzentrum (so kann es weniger ideal für Reisende sein, die Sofia in nur einem Tag erkunden), es ist absolut Himmel für Fernarbeiter. Die Umgebung ist lebendig und boomt mit Geschäften, Bars und Restaurants, die eine junge, produktive Vibe verleihen.
Highly recommended for digital nomads and anyone looking for a comfortable, modern stay!

GGastnutzerThe attitude of the receptionist was unprofessional, rude and unacceptable.
For one hour, the whole hotel didn’t know how to charge my credit card, as their credit card machine doesn’t follow EU rules for 3D security, thus jeopardising clients’ private data. I wasted a full hour on the phone with my bank, only to find out that the hotel doesn’t follow rules on how to securely handle credit card data. The management kept telling me that it’s my fault, despite the fact I never before have had problems with card payments before.
Breakfast food was decent, with a choice between a couple of set menus.
The hotel was clean, rooms were quiet, and it was situated and in a convenient location, within 3-4 minutes from the nearest metro station.
Some of the photos on their site are dated, as the interior is different now.

GGastnutzerIch hatte ein Zimmer mit zwei Betten gebucht, bekam aber ein Zimmer mit einem großen Bett. Ich konnte das Bett nicht mit jemandem teilen, da angeblich alle Zimmer belegt waren und man mir das gebuchte Zimmer nicht zur Verfügung stellen konnte. Schließlich wurde mir noch ein kleines Bett danebengestellt, was extrem unbequem war!

NNoi ChaUnser Aufenthalt im Hotel Budapest in Sofia war angenehm und komfortabel. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend – es ist gut erreichbar und in der Nähe vieler wichtiger Sehenswürdigkeiten, was es zu einem idealen Ausgangspunkt für Stadterkundungen macht.
Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant war köstlich, mit einer Auswahl an hervorragend zubereiteten Gerichten, die unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllten. Allerdings war der Service am Silvesterabend merklich langsamer, vermutlich aufgrund der vielen Gäste, die den Anlass feierten. Obwohl die Wartezeit angesichts des Feiertagsandrangs verständlich war, hätte etwas mehr Effizienz das Erlebnis verbessert.
Insgesamt bietet das Hotel Budapest hervorragendes Essen, eine erstklassige Lage und eine einladende Atmosphäre. Mit etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit für den Service zu Stoßzeiten ist es eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für einen Aufenthalt in Sofia!

RRositsa PetrovaAlles in Ordnung. seltsame Dekorationen. Es war ein klassischer Sofia, von einem berühmten japanischen Architekten gebaut. Sie hielten immer noch einen schönen japanischen Garten. Die Restaurants sind auch schön. Frühstück war ausreichend, dachte nicht koppig. Nahe der U-Bahn, schöne Aussichten.
