Great hotel, clean spacious room, amazing location. Delicious breakfast on the top floor of the hotel with a breath taking view. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to train station/ 5 min walk; shops, cafes restaurants all around. Loved every moment. Thank you!

Excellent location but that’s all. The rooms were very cramped; my bed was extremely uncomfortable, the furnishings were gross, the wardrobe didn’t open properly, the shower was minute; and they don’t supply an iron on request. We would have had to iron out of the room in any event because the space was so small. Front office staff were generally rude; in fact after waiting a few minutes for a receptionist to look up from his computer and acknowledge my presence - I ended up asking him ‘am I invisible?’ Dining staff were all very efficient, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was terrible. The ‘fresh’ fruit wasn’t always fresh, nor were the pastries - and if you presented at breakfast say 5 or 10 minutes after the plate of communal scrambled eggs arrived - the dish was stone cold. All in all we hated going into our hotel - and after 6.5 weeks visiting several countries and staying in various hotels; this was the only one that let us down; and boy did it let us down.

Very good positioning of the hotel, very clean and friendly and hospitable staff. It is very close to the city center and the numerous and famous shops. Very good breakfast. A breakfast with seasonal fruits, Italian coffee, traditional cheeses and homemade cakes.

Very good hotel to stay at and use the Spa. Comfortable beds and bath with shower products included. Good breakfast and the employees very nice. You must wear bathrobe to use de spa (towels are not allowed) or rent one.

I returned this year after a great experience last year. The hotel did not disappoint! Charming staff-especially the restaurant’s. And the panoramic roof top restaurant is a delight. Loved my room, and the little balcony! Recommend and hopefully will return next year. Thank you.

I have never be in such beautifull hotel in my life ＜3 People there are nice and help everyone. I can feel calm and relaxed :) I will recomend that place Everyone ;) I left on the desk in my room paper on which I wrote ‚best regards and my opinion that They are amazing’ ;)

The rating is almost 5 stars as the spa was really enjoyable both in terms of pools and sauna, Turkish bath and of massages, the personnel kind and available, the food at the restaurant pleasant. Only the room was not bad but slightly under the level of the rest (not so comfortable mattress, too high mirror, lacking of a body cream that I expected in a spa, generally a bit worn out compared to the rest. But I would definitely come back and have another resting stay here.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Columbia. Our original booking was for a different hotel in the town but we were moved to the Columbia at the last minute - and what a good move it was. The staff are so nice, especially Ivan and Irene in the restaurant. They looked after my wife who has a gluten allergy and Ivan's wine recommendations were spot on. The hotel is clean and in a great location for exploring the town. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

The first thing I think that anyone needs to know before booking this hotel is that the photos shown by the management on this website, as well as other booking websites are very misleading. There are only a couple of photos that represent the sad, tiny room we stayed in for 6 nights. The bathroom was even sadder and tinier. I will post photos showing our room. We were in this hotel with a tour we had booked in Tuscany, and this was where we were placed. We didn't like our room, but the staff was very friendly, the lobby and spa area were nice, and the breakfast on the top floor was also nice. The location of the hotel is good from a logistical point--there is a lot of shopping and also a lot of restaurants nearby. The nightmare of the location is that it is a terrible place if you want to sleep at night. Because the air conditioning doesn't get turned on until June (I can't remember the exact date), we had to sleep with the windows open. Which means that you will hear all the screaming, fighting, and singing that goes on on the main street. And it goes on. Pretty much every night. The weekend nights were very crazy and loud for sure. During the week, the people who lived in the apartment next door (very close, could look in their place) were having a loud party that went until about midnight. After Naples won the soccer tournament (on a Thursday night), cars circled the town honking their horns, police were whipping their sirens, lots of screaming and singing, and what was either fireworks or guns being fired (or both) went on until the wee hours of the morning. Oh, and the recycling bins underneath our window in the alleyway get emptied every morning. Very early in the morning. So let me be really clear, not only was it a bad location for trying to get sleep, our room was definitely not good. When we first opened the door to the room, we were really puzzled as to how we were going to get our suitcases in there. So what we did was throw our first suitcase on our bed, open it, unpack it, and place in on the shelf in the closet underneath the clothes hanging rack, because there were no drawers. Zero. After we unpacked both suitcases, we had to find a corner to try stash the suitcases away. Since we had to use the closet for our clothes, we couldn't put them in there. I mean it really was a puzzle. There was very little walking area around the bed, and a small desk against the wall at the foot of the bed--again, no drawers. Funny thing, there was a chair at the little desk, but it didn't fit under the desk. Too big, So, logically, a smaller chair would have been a great and simple fix. We could have done so many things to make this room a more logical and practical space. The day we arrived, our floors were dirty. We kept a towel lying on the floor to wipe our feet off before we climbed into bed. The other days the room seemed to be cleaned better. The bathroom was insanely small.
