Sauberes Hotel, Zimmer auch. Ausreichend Parkplätze die auf dem gesicherten Gelände sind. Frühstück ist gut, mit großer Auswahl (inkl. frischgepresstem O-Saft). Zimmer für 3 Personen ist groß / sehr reell. Großes und gutes Bett (in Frankreich selten !). Leider sprach die Dame nachts am Empfang kein Englisch. Das Tor zum Grundstück ist nachts geschlossen und es gibt nicht einmal eine Klingel um sich bemerkbar zu machen. Wenn man dann anruft kann es sein, dass man auf der Mailbox landet. Für uns ein reines Übernachtungshotel am Standrand gelegen. Gut von der Autobahn zu erreichen, liegt direkt an einer Durchgangsstraße, ist aber nicht laut da etwas zurückgelegen. Schöner Ort an der Loire mit tollem Schloss.

Das Escale Orleans liegt direkt an der Loire (also optisch denn, dazwischen liegt noch eine stark befahrene Einfallsstrasse) - entweder schöne Aussicht mit etwas Lärm, oder gegen den Hof wenig Aussicht und Ruhe. In knapp 10' ist man zu Fuss in der schönen Innenstadt – perfekt gelegen für eine Anfahrt mit Auto (unbedingt von Ost nach West anfahren, Loireabwärts, sonst ist eine Stadtrundfahrt fällig... Parkieren im gut geschützten Hof. Zimmer sind recht klein, aber sehr angenehm, Bett und Nasszone sehr gut, Komfort sehr gut. Frühstück ist ok, bei uns durch Corona etwas eingeschränkt. Personal an der Reception sehr speditiv und freundlich. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen - nicht für Arbeit, denn ein Tisch im Zimmer fehlt.

Wir halten hier auf dem Weg nach Calais und es war ein idealer Halt. Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und hatte grundlegende Kücheneinrichtungen, wenn wir sie benötigt hatten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir reisen mit zwei Hunden und hatten einen Untergeschoss in der Nähe einer idealen Ausgang. Das Personal empfahl ein hervorragendes lokales Restaurant, wo Kunden einen Rabatt auf die Anzeige ihrer Zimmerschlüssel erhalten. Der einzige Nebeneffekt war, dass das WiFi im Zimmer nicht funktioniert. Es war für uns wichtig, da wir eine Lokalformulare ausfüllen mussten. Glücklicherweise, weil es am nächsten Tag noch nicht funktioniert, wurde uns der Zugang zum Büro WiFi gewährt, das seinen Zweck diente.
