Our 'suite' had no drawers or dressers -- no place to put clothes; no art work on walls. In fact, it looked like they may have put in new floor and just forgot to finish the room. The web site said that we'd have a queen size bed, it was a double bed. We arrived at 3:30pm and had to wait for the room to be prepared. Yes, check-in is 4pm but I've NEVER had to wait when arriving after 3pm at a hotel. Distain at our expectation of the room being ready was palpable. We stayed four nights -- no service of the room. When asked, the front desk seemed shocked that I would expect the room to be made up. I didn't try to pool but guests who were in the hot tub indicated that it was not working -- at that point, I decided not to aggravate myself more by even attempting to use the pool/hot tub. We ate dinner 4 times; service was very poor for 3 of the 4 nights -- not in terms of timing, but in terms of SERVICE. We would have had the same level of personal service at McDonalds!!! At no time did anyone ask us if we were enjoying our stay; in fact, there was a level of indifference that was astounding. They simply didn't care. We spent the best part of $2,000 at the hotel once dinner was taken into account-- we will not return!
