"Der Ort ist wunderschön und sehr gemütlich. Allerdings waren wir sehr enttäuscht im Spa. Die Sauna wird nicht heiß genug und es gibt kein kaltes Bad. Wir hofften auch, ein kleines Fitnessstudio zu finden, um eine Trainingsmöglichkeit während unseres Aufenthalts zu bekommen. Der Strand und seine Aktivitäten sind fantastisch. Insgesamt haben wir den Ort für das gefunden, was er bietet zu hoch geschätzt/überbezahlt. Wir geben ihm einen 7/10. Wir sind froh, dass wir es erlebt haben, aber wir würden nicht zurückgehen."

"recently returned a place I had enjoyed visiting for years, and was met with a disappointing experience. The new owner was quite dismissive when I mentioned I was a long-time customer. He made some unfortunate remarks about the previous owners, suggesting they were unsuccessful, which I found unprofessional. The amenities have changed, and not for the better. The fire pit, which used to be available in winter, is no longer maintained. Additionally, there is now an extra charge of over $100 to use the pool, which seems excessive. It’s worth noting that other places, like Relais Saint-Denis in Saint-Sauveur, offer better value with both spa and room packages starting around $120 per night. I was asked if I wanted to see the energy bill for operating the spa, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. It was a disappointing encounter, and I hope improvements are made in the future. For now, I would suggest considering other options if you’re planning a visit to Saint Donat."

"Excellent hôtel, spacious rooms, lots of activities to do. We loved it. There are two restaurants in the hotel, a bistro and a chic restaurant, both were delicious with affordable prices, drinks were on point too. The spa section was very cozy"

"Wonderful stay! The suite was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the jacuzzi was a real treat for relaxing. The location in Saint-Jean-de-Matha is perfect, close to everything. A big thank you to the staff for their warm welcome and great kindness. We will definitely be back!"

"We had the chalet Le Huard which was for 2 people. Situated with an uninterrupted view of the lake. The chalet had everything you need and a BBQ a lovely terrace with outdoor setting. Supermarket, petrol station and bottle shop are about a 5 minutes drive. The hosts are such a lovely couple, very helpful and there to answer any questions. There is walk around the lake. Also canoes and rowing boats free of charge. A fantastic spot for fly fishing, but you do need to obtain a permit if you want to fish on the lake. We had the best relaxing time there of our whole trip. Highly recommend staying here if you wand peace and tranquillity"

"My family had a wonderful long winter get-away weekend at the Auberge du Vieux Moulin this week. Kevin and his team do a wonderful job providing a warm and cozy family atmosphere for their guests. The food was outstanding and we got to play in the snow - snow shoeing, hiking, cross country skiing and even snow mobiling - while enjoying the comfort of a personal fireplace in our room and a spa whenever we got back to the lodge. We are city slickers from south of the border and they made us feel at home."
