Für die Oberoi Marrakesch ist es wirklich schwer, Schuld zu finden. Das relativ neue Hotel ist einfach mit der beeindruckenden Lobby und Villas sowie mit 2700 Olivenbäumen erstaunlich. Der geschäftige General Manager Mamdouh ist der perfekte und verbrauchte Hotelier, jemals anwesend, alles nicht-stop-Check, um sicherzustellen, dass die Gäste Erfahrung nicht weniger als 5-stars. Jalal von ihrem F&B-Verkaufszentrum überraschte uns mit einer ganzen Menge Zitronenkuchen, um nach London zurückzunehmen, die nicht für zwei Frühstücken verfügbar war, die wir nach unserem ersten Frühstück verloren haben. El Habib ist ein erstaunlicher Server, der Ihnen mit seiner Zauberlampe mindestens drei Wünsche gewähren kann! Khalid der Duty Manager fragt auch nicht aufhören, wie sie einen Service verbessern können, der bereits von Exzellenz ist. Unsere Hutten sind der erstaunliche Pastakoch, der gebackene Waren macht, die die beste Pariser Patisserie konkurrieren. Ich sah die beiden Mitarbeiter, die jede Maschine im Fitnesscenter mit vier Sprays reinigen, die weder Staub noch Keim verlassen - sie konzentrieren sich auf die wenigsten Details. Das ganze Team ist nur sehr gut ausgebildet und professionell und sehr engagiert in ihrem Wunsch, Ihre Erwartungen zu überschreiten. Die Synchronisierung ihrer Bemühungen, in der natürlichsten und ehrlichsten Weise, immer mit großen Lächeln, übersetzt zu nichts weniger als eine wirklich erinnerebare Erfahrung. Sie wissen, wie Sie sich wie Arabische Königsherrschaft fühlen! Wir werden sicherlich zurück sein!!! Danke sehr allen!!! Shukran! Wenn Sie diesen “Palazzo in der Mitte der Oasis-Erfahrung” in Marrakesch wollen, werden Sie es nicht besser als bei der Oberoi!

We booked this hotel based on reviews from here and Expedia to spend the last week of our summer holiday. Hotel grounds are beautiful, unfortunately the room didn’t reflect the outdoor settings. They were dated and didn’t meet the basic standards. Rooms didn’t feel clean, the smell of damp/mould coming from the wardrobes was overwhelming, bedding was badly ripped, stains in the bath tub and toilet seat lid was broken. Not as peaceful as they promote themselves to be, as we had people moving heavy furniture in the middle of night also there were a few people talking by our window late in the night. We understand the accommodation is not 5 stars but it needs at least to meet the basic hygiene standards. The staff working for the hotel were kind but the Director’s lack of customer service and understanding when we decided to change our stay due to the poor state of the rooms was really disappointing. He was determined not to give our money back. If you are on a budget or want to spend a nice time with your family and is looking for somewhere not too expensive to stay in Marrakesh, please check before booking this place. It was our first time in Marrakesh and the first impression wasn’t pleasant at all. The photos that I attached were from the 2nd room that we were given. Luckily we found another hotel that made us feel very welcome and really looked after us!

I was expecting this place to be nice but it was much so better!! The inside of the building looked cozy and clean and also the room we stayed in two different rooms during our stay) were big, beautiful and super clean. The pool was surrounded by a lovely green garden with trees and flowers. Kitchen was open all day and food could be served either in their inside dining area or outside by the pool, the menu had many options and everything was delicious! The reception and service staff are the most amazing people, super nice and friendly but also extremely professional and skilled at their job! We also enjoyed some excellent and beautiful cocktails that were garnished with flowers freshly picked from their garden and also tried the traditional shisha, all served while we were soaking in the shallow part of the pool. These guys are so great and made us feel genuinely welcomed, safe and truly spoiled. I cannot thank them enough for it, this place for me has just become a holiday destination itself.

When we arrived the receptionists was very friendly and so were the others we spoke to through duration of the holiday. The first room we were given wasn't great, it was outdated, not clean and was was very dark. We didn't feel safe in the room either because it had a connecting door to another room which couldn't be locked. After explaining this to the receptionist he happily moved us to another room and he was very helpful. Food is bland and the same everyday. No salt and pepper to be found. The best part is breakfast with fresh omelette and morrocon flat bread. I recommend eating in Marrakech for lunch and dinner. The shuttle into Marrakech costs 40 MAD per person round trip. Which is far less than a taxi. The rest of the hotel is immaculate and the poolside is clean and the entertainment staff are all brilliant. French is the primary language at this resort so please take this into consideration. The staff will still try to communicate with you positively. Overall for what we paid it was a positive stay and the friends we made definitely made the trip a great experience.

Beautifully kept grounds with expansive waters, well kept gardens. Check in was in a separate building, Nice interior. In room 108, deluxe room with water front and own jacuzzi. Jacuzzi is really a little circular tube with cold water rather than hot. Antechamber with coffee machine, office and fridges. Nice size room with sofa in front of bed then a passage way, half way in to the commode and all the way to large bathroom with big shower area, nice bath tube and airy bathroom. The passage itself is narrow and and issue when doors of clothes cabinet open. Terrace- nice bit morning sun, large bamboo tree with lots of sparrows nesting there during that evening- they fly back and make a racket in the evening around sun down. Breakfast good- in doors or outdoors. 4 courses practicallly with fruits plate followed but bread basket and pastries, cheese should have come with this rather than at the end. Next omelette and egg Benedict and finally French toast. Quality overall good. Ripe fruits, good eggs, nice French toast. Cappuccino was good. fresh orange juice. Service was slow and long pause after bread basket/ pastries and cooked food arriving. Issue with sparrows as they pick off food when left unattended including fresh food arriving from kitchen on a silver tray and waiters move away to serve them part by part. Dinner was good- see different review for restaurant. Spa- disappointing that you can only use the hammam if you have Hammam treatment and even if you have a massage not for hotel guest. That should really change. Pool area, is next to breakfast/ lunch dining area with lounge beds. Lots of people with day passes who use it too so rather bustling. Nice and sun all day but the music could be less with base, and softer and a few more choice/variety than the three CD’s that they have. It really ruined the ambience when trying to relax at the pool. Gym- good, functional, could do with more light in the day. House keeping removed coffee and tea cups/ glasses to clean and forget to return and require a call to house keeping. And forget to top up coffee capsules, tea bags And bottles of water for the coffee machine. daily bottles of water albeit present on check in day and required some prompting. Negative: far from town centre and other food. Food Options limited No shuttle service 200 maD for taxi before 7pm and 300 mad after 7pm Limited music selection. Positives: Quiet,Calming - truly a wonderful place to destress. Breakfast is good/Ala carte rather than buffet. Complimentary drinks by the pool/ lounge area. Functional Gym

Sehr Erholsamer paar Urlaub. Essen war immer lecker , die Snackbar war auch sehr lecker. Das einzige Problem ist zu wenig Besetzung an den Bars. Das allgemeine Hotel Personal ist sehr freundlich und höflich. Die Zimmer sind wie vorgestellt, sehr geräumig gute Betten und ein schönes Bad. Dazu gibt es ein Shuttelbus vom Hotel aus , in die Stadt zum Markt (kostenlos)
